So, some good has come out of all this. People are angry that his word - and the decisions made by the police - are being questioned...Well, guess what? We should all be proud to live in a country where when someone is killed - we get to ask questions

There's so much about this that makes no sense - and none of us knows what really happened

If Martin turned around and came after him he should have run away and waited for the cops!

Instead, he allowed himself to be put in a position where he had (had?) to use his gun - and a kid is dead. The cops decided this was by the book? Everything is A-OK?

You do see the problem - don't you?

Cops don't get to decide law

Zimmerman is an adult and a hefty looking guy. How could a skinny unarmed 17 year old have beaten him to the point where he had to defend his life? It doesn't make sense.

Yes, frankly, it is. A grown man with a criminal record acting on self appointed "authority" followed and chased a person who had done absolutely nothing to warrant suspicion, simply because of the way he looked and preconceived notions, and then killed him by claiming he was attacked. Are there unicorns where you're from?

Does the fact that, that witness only saw one part of what happened, even bother you in the least? He doesn't give testimony as to who attacked first. He doesn't know if a second prior Zimmerman was actually on top of Martin, they could have been rolling in the grass.

Please indicate where, in "John's" testimony, it is said that Treyvon was the one to throw the first blow. If anything, the circumstances suggest that it was Zimmerman who was picking a fight. Zimmerman is the ultimate sore loser.

I haven't convicted anybody of anything. I will say the OP is correct that the Constitution does state that you and I and anybody is Innocent of any crime until proved guilty, that means even George Zimmerman

and these new photos simply happened to find there way into a well positioned online news story.

The cops would of arrested zimmerman
if zimmerman did not have the bruises
and beats on his face. They have it documented
people came running out of there house cops
showed up within min. after the shooting
zimmerman had no time to wound himself
and the cut marks on treyvons hands prove
he punched zimmerman. putting zimmerman
in a position where he assumed his life was at risk..
Was zimmerman and treyvon acting not to smart
yes. If treyvon would of never hit zimmerman zimmerman
would not of shot him.

I dont see how a 17 year old could be too much of a threat to a 28 year old, especially a 17 year old with a bag of skittles... If you cant fend off a kid who is punching you, you should hit the gym or join a karate club....
