You do know the people recorded on "the hearsay tapes" were watching it happen right? The gun shot is recorded. You are saying the tapes of people talking as it's happening are less substantial than someone revisiting the event after it happened?

Yes. I previously stated that if Zimmerman laid hands on Martin then YES, he had every right to defend himself. However, all we know is that Zimmerman simply asked “what are you doing in my neighborhood?” That isn’t an attack. We don’t know who threw the first punch. I seriously doubt that Martin knew Zimmerman had a gun either. Who in the hell punches a guy with a gun?

By the way, Martin was on his cell phone. Seems to me he could have called 911 if he thought some guy was after him. Why was it only Zimmerman who called 911?

See.. I believe Casey Anthony is innocent of murder, but there is one glaring fact here.
We have one guy acting like a predator here and treating the other as prey. Even if the teen fought with him, by the time that Zimmerman was close enough for a fight to happen the kid was likely in fear for his life and righfully so. He knew what he had, but he didn't know what the stalking stranger was packing. Given the outcome can we not all agree that if the kid fought with him he was correct in his reaction and fear for his life?

I really want to hear what Martin's girlfriend has to say about what he said on the phone with her.

I also want to hear what was said too. I have mixed feelings so far,and I know NOT all the evidence has been presented. The American public cant lynch this guy,because of what they believed happened. People really need to wake up actually.

Being on the phone and hearing something for yourself is not hearsay. That is direct information.
Hearsay would be someone repeating what the person on the phone told them they heard.

Anyway, I know I just replied to something you quoted, but you seemed to agree it was hearsay and I couldn't find the original post.

I only say hearsay because I have yet to see the girlfriend's phone call mentioned under the "official investigation" I'm only going off what the girl's parents stated. I personally think that phone call is the missing link to understanding what happened. If it happened as she says, then I think that Zimmerman touched Martin first. Not that I even think who touched who first matters, but for those saying it's his fault because he attacked first.

But really, why was no ambulance called for Zimmerman? If he was in so much so much pain, he was ambushed, he was assaulted, why no medical attention? He was so hurt to the point he had to fire a gun, but he didn't need to be checked out?

I never said Zimmerman was afraid while following Martin…though he probably was afraid when he was getting smashed!

I don’t know why he was foolish enough to confront the kid. He should have tailed him and kept his distance.

I’ll say again, it’s not a crime to be stupid, though sometimes I wish it was (you should at least have your voter registration card pulled if you’re stupid )

If Martin turned around and came after him he should have run away and waited for the cops!
