The reality is that I may not be standing at a voting booth when the time arrives. I certainly won't vote for the status quo and I refuse to vote for a candidate because he or she is the "lesser of two evils."
Well - - the reality is - - something like 50% of Americans are religious enough to vote for someone like Santorum.
I would definitely be at the voting booth voting against him - - voting for the "lesser of two evils".
Never underestimate the religious vote.

If he bans porn, I sorta see him as a dead man walking. People do crazy XXX over sex...

And that's just it.
They won't admit it and will just go along and be good little Christians in the eyes of their church and neighbors.
Many will even deny it to themselves.

The porn industry, is in fact, an industry, one that produces nearly 4 billion in revenue.

You may be correct, but it seems that the ones that decided to get into the race this round aren't the brightest bulbs in the box.
Santorum is a weak candidate, he doesn't have that "leader" vibe that the people respond to. He is trying to pander to the right's sense of "morality" that tends to err on the side of religious zealotry.
This idea of banning all porn, and making it illegal is just ridiculous. First of all it would be unconstitutional, violating the 1st amendment. (for some reason, right wingers hate this amendment with a passion.)
Second, it hurts our economy. The porn industry, is in fact, an industry, one that produces nearly 4 billion in revenue.

Just sayin, that if Santorum claims he wants to help the economy, making porn illegal isn't the way to go. That's just not the talk of someone who likes free market enterprise or wants to help create jobs.

if Santorum does become President I'd like 2 see how is going to succeed in banning porn.
but then again, once he becomes President he'll have other important things to do

Mocking the Christians again,
Hi, I know you weren't talking to me, but I feel the need to interject a few things here.
Is Annee mocking christians, or someone wanting to install a theocracy within the united states and force people to become what should be free choice?
Christians should be avid promoters of the pornographic industry, because so long as they are around, we are all guaranteed free speech. Imagine a future where anything against the current moral norm is outlawed...imagine that future again, but with the growing number of muslims becoming the majority.
Sound familiar? (see early roman christians).
Its unlikely bedfellows, but Larry Flynt did more to push the cause of freedom from (and for) religion and reassure that you will always be able to hold your faith and persuit of personal happiness than any religious leaders in current history.
Now the rest of the post leads to your judgement and vanity.
standing over them with your comment? See you at your particular judgment.
Actually, you won't be the one to judge her. This may come as a shock to you, but you are actually not God...I know, sometimes you can't tell the difference, but really...biblically speaking, your not that dude...therefore, no...you won't be seeing her at her personal judgement (which frankly I believe will, if anything, be her judging herself).
I think Christ said something to that effect..you are judged by the same stick you judge others...not that you should never pass personal judgement of what effects you, but doing it for the world/others in place of God..thats some big boots to fill.
But I am sure with you doing that, you are totally without sin.
so...
caste your stones I suppose, Mr. Flanders.

Jesus said that to a person whom was trying to interrupt his path in life. He didn't say that to sinners actually, he said it to those whom thought they were doing the right thing and in turn trying to guide his life.
Funny when you think about it actually...considering you are far more fitting of whom Jesus was referring to, trying to push your righteousness to guide others on what you see fit for them, than Annee, whom is ultimately allowing people to simply be who they will be.
You should reflect on that...don't get lost in the details and see what the person you follow was actually saying.or not...your choice.

Saturn,
You mean well. The fact is our soul is eternal, you and me will choose Heaven or hell and if you defend an evil mocking those who declare it to be an evil, you will stand before God with your choice.
I was addressing a poster saying...
Do not make fun of Christians who object or wish to rid our nation
of pornography. Porn is a scourge, there is no purity in the young
now. Absolutely no innocence.
Have you heard they want to make condoms available to 12 year olds,
in the Springfield, MO school system? It's in the news this morning so
12 is the new 18.
What is it going to take for people to wake up. I know, God's merciful
judgment on our country. Mitigate it. Vote for a man who follows God and not a politician declaring he is now for life when his record shows he isn't.
take care,
colbe
