Desparate for purpose? No. Some of us don't buy into some so called truths without questioning it and making an attempt to determine its legitamacy. Sometimes I wish I was ignorant. Some of the things you will learn in your quest for truth are downright scary. I can't help every homeless person I see but if they were all injured...I would do whatever was in my means...human or not.

I would drive far far far away as fast as I could. I don't need to see one by the road, I'm one of the "lucky" ones that gets F'd with by these a$$holes in my own home....they show up around 3 am by my bed....ugly mothereffing greys...no compassion...no souls...treat me like a human labrat ...they are not friendly creatures....they are no different than the rapist doing time in the pen....I f'ing hate them.

Knowing me, i'd probably be more intrigued than afraid......for the first 5-10 minutes that is. So if i was lucky enough to have my phone, or a camera with higher quality, i'd snap a quick picture, and get the hell out of there.

You can't be serious. I've read about your "facts" before but a podcast? You really believe in something just by listening to a Colonel on a podcast? Don't you ask any questions before you chalk it up as fact? Wow, and you call us ignorant. Since you wanna belittle us...I'm gonna say some things that may or may not disturb you but its all in good fun, so here goes. Some peoples faith is so powerful that they will die for what they 'know' to be true. I'm guessing those types of people exist in every religion. Why would so many people die for their undying faith yet the existing religions that contain said people...are all different? Doesn't that bother you that you claim to know the truth but the guy next door spouts the same powerful faith but his religion is different than yours? Stop and access the injury and of course the situation. I'm sure you could get the vibes of if it was going to be dangerous to you (you prey) or if it was unlikely to harm you. I would get it out of sight first, then attempt to render aid and the attend to the wound. then while recovering, I'd try to learn as much as possible about the alien. Beyond that, one would have to take it hour by hour. Suppose it is then fully recovered? then what? Still I would like to gain it's confidence and befriend it. If it managed to get to earth, it no doubt would know the basic makeup of civilization here, thus it's unlikely it would want to interface with an aggressive mob mentality group of humans. It would likely be waiting for a ride home or rescue from it's own. Hostility begets hostility. And suppose later it left..... you might have been left with answers to sciences biggest questions, maybe even a harnessing of free power. Secondarily would be its gender? and the nuances of that.

i would take him to my house for bbq and sign him up as his promotional manager get him on a world tour make some cash.

If he had some good weapons and was friendly i would ask him to nuke iran russia and china .

if he was a she and was very cute and looked like one of us like that hot babe on the old star track from andromeda then i would marry her and have some andromeda children

if he was unfriendly i would run him down the road and shoot him with my antitank missile battery that I bought from israel the spike system that is the easiest system to blow up unfriendly aliens

I personally would help the alien. I would hide it in my car; call a friend of mine who is a doctor (we grew up together) take the alien to my home; hide him (or her) and my friend and I would nurse the being back to health.

During this time I would find out some information; like...how did the alien get there...is there any way that we could contact his race of beings and help to return (him or her) to them etc.

it was on a long desolate road with trees all around and it pleaded to you for aid. would you help it or run/drive away.

I would ask alot of questions like are they controlling our country and what planet are they from then eat it

Continue to help the alien...find out why they want to take over planet earth...(play along with them)...until I could contact a detective I know and he would pass along the information to the correct people.
