I have some stories, but have no idea where I stand on them. I am mostly logical - and not quick to say "Ghosts" or whatnot, but I have had
some..weird things happen.
Story 1 - Includes precognition - I think coincidence, although my friend is still spooked by the amount of times I predicted things as a kid - I
think I was just good at reading people for most of them - this is one of few I remember and has nothing to do with reading people.
I was probably 7 to 10 years old, I had a dream of being on a highway and lights passing fast, like I was in a car, I saw my 1st grade teacher (And
good friends mom) die. Within a week she had died. That's literally all there is to the story. Not as exciting and mysterious as some of these
other stories.
Story 2 - Home, about 16 - 17 YO
I was walking downstairs to go steal a smoke from my stepdads stash, and I stepped on something round. Not wanting to trip on it on the way back, I
kept my foot on it (It was pitch black) and went to reach down to grab it, it disappeared as I moved my foot and went to grab it. I heard nothing if
it had rolled away, I wanted to find it, but I also wanted smokes, so my plan was to nab the smokes, but on my way to the door, I looked out the
window and dread filled me. To the point that I couldn't go outside, I am getting goosebumps just typing about this. I decided to double check the
lock on the door, then turned on the light to find what I had stepped on, the whole time, feeling watched (Keep in mind, this is a nightly occurrence
- stealing smokes, not the weird #) - I couldn't find anything in the room that could have been stepped on, the floor was completely clean, it was a
middle class home, and my mom made my stepdad do so much to keep it clean because she get's stressed about others seeing the messy home. Looked under
the one couch it could have rolled under, nothing. Went to bed. Still not convinced I didn't just miss it, but I sweat I looked hard because it
bothered me how it seemingly disappeared. This home was built relatively recently, as in when I was 4 or 5, so no reason to believe it was haunted,
the only thing that was semi-off is that it was built next to a train track that had been dismembered - some pieces still lies around the area, more
in the woods than elsewhere. Also big spools, like you see them put copper wire on and stuff were all over the place.
Story 3 - # get's real - I have no explanation. 18 YO can now smoke legally and don't hide it anymore.
Run out of smokes, leave bedroom because I hear my step dad coming up the stairs, leave room, see him walking down hallway, whisper his name - about 5
feet behind him. He walks into my brothers room (mom and him were going to get a divorce, he slept on bottom bunk of my brothers bunk bed.) I am
right behind him, I don't hear the door shut, which I should, nor do i see it shut, which I should have. I mumble profanities under breathe, open
door and say "(His name), why did you...(ignore me - but stopped speaking)" He was fast asleep and his clothes were on the floor. To me, that is
impossible, based off timing. I go through his pants, grab a smoke and leave the room. It wasn't until a while after that I realized that what I
saw, didn't match. The hair was not my step dads. It was more..wild, and he kept it short. That's when I got scared for a new reason, perhaps
someone else was in my home, and was hiding behind the bed when I entered - but it doesn't explain the all grey appearance (Clothes/hair) and the
timing to door shutting. Thinking back, it was more of a glide then a walk as well. (Could be schizophrenia, but if it is, then I must be one lucky
#ing schizo, only occasionally having issues - possibly 3-4 times that I can think of all I am writing now)
Story 4 - New apartment - 18 YO - old house turned apt complex.
Bottom story apartment, I fell asleep on the couch, woke up, and saw a light at the foot of the couch. I remember thinking immediately "Weird how the
headlights aren't all across the room, but stopping in mid air" Thinking it was a car in the parking lot, that's when it hit me, that I didn't hear a
car, and it is in the middle of the night. I continues staring, trying to figure out what was shining through my blinds (That were closed) to make
this shape, it did look human. As that crosses my mind, it moves, not like a light being shined into a room, but like there was a person walking,
but was made of light. It really freaked me out when it left the foot of my bed, and I could see between the lights "Legs" as it walked directly
into a full size mirror and never once reflected off of it. I covered my head with my blankets and went back to sleep.
Story 5 - Same house, better apartment opened up on 2nd floor (3 story house - old as hell) 20ish
Kept feeling watched, like someone was behind me.
One day neighbor (Friendly, but not friends) needs to check his bank account. I sit next to him facing the TV so he knows I'm not watching him type
his password (I'm a worrier about things like that - Overly making sure people don't view me as a threat) - He says to me, I feel like I'm being
watched. At first I thought he meant me, but he quickly says something that implies "not you". So I say "I know right, it creeps me out". I asked
if he had things like that in his apartment, I forgot what he said, but he did confirm a general uneasy feeling - while also stating it was worse in
this apartment. Some time passes and my best and only friend breaks up with his girlfriend. He moves in, within a week he was back with her,
eventually he told me the only reason he got back with her was because he felt like somebody was watching him at my apartment. (I asked if he thought
I was watching him, he said no - that it was something else).
Should note, when I dog sat different dogs (Grandmas and fathers on separate occasions), all the dogs stopped at the same spot and would stare at
seemingly nothing, sometimes breaking into barking fits. They would also shake and were unmovable by voice, the heavy dog I couldn't get to move at
all. The little one I picked up and brought it to the living room, it ran back and poked it's head around the corner at the spot it was at before and
started barking again and shaking. (The small dog was with his sister, the sister did not act like there was anything there - Come to think of it, I
think both dogs that behaved similarly were males, one was, unsure about the bulldog).
Story 6 - last one, # got too real, and I freaked out a little. 22 to 23 YO.
I was in bed, and I became convinced that someone was watching me. To the point that I was sure if I opened my eyes, someone would be staring
directly at me. I opened and shut my eyes multiple times over the course of 10 minutes, before I heard a weird noise from the hallway, I turned over
and immediately jumped out of bed, I saw something move in the mirror that faces the hallway, the mirror was in the same exact spot that the dogs
freaked out in. I ran into the hallway, thinking "I forgot to lock my #ing door and someone is in my apartment!" - Now I am not a little man, and at
the time I was pushing 400 pounds, I had gained massive weight and become a recluse while in that home, once I left, I lost almost 200 pounds and
stopped being so reclusive, yet I still am to an extent. When I got into the hallway, I was ready to lay someone the # out. (char limit)
