Yes, I have seen demons, ladies in white, spirits/ghosts, and LOTS of shadow people. I must be pretty interesting because for a while they came in groups.

One particular one visited so often I gave it a name. He later woke me when a low level daemon like creature was trying to break though my barrier on my bedroom door. I kept hearing this weird static like sound (almost like white noise), so I turned to it. I saw the shadow person freaking out and pointing to the bedroom door. So I turn to see what has it so scared. I freeze. I tapped my boyfriend of the shoulder to wake him up while screaming "Go away. You are not welcome here. You have no power over us or this place." to the large black mass of nothingness with piercing red eyes. He woke up just in time to see it, before it turned to leave. He was a little creeped out. I turned to thank the shadow person but it was gone. I guess the thing was feeding on the negative energy from the apartment upstairs. I did another cleansing ritual on the apartment and blessed all the mirrors. (I have a theory that some paranormal beings can use mirrors or shiny surfaces to transcend realms. It sounds, odd I know. It came from a old Cajun folk lore that stuck with me. The lore is to cover all the mirrors, open all doors, and all windows so spirits can't get trapped. So mirrors creep me out sometimes.)

One of my favorites is of a spirit/ghost. I had just moved into my new apartment. My boyfriend and I were asleep in bed when I heard a child's voice call mommy and the coldest little hand on my foot. Half asleep I thought it was my daughter and lifted the covers. A split second later I realized she is at her fathers. Wide eyed I look at the end of the bed to see a blue-ish mist of a male child about 7 ish yrs old. He turned and ran into the wall. I just laid down and went back to sleep.

The next day I was talking with neighbors about my experience. They lost all color in their faces when I described the child in great detail. They then informed me a little boy matching my description had died in the apartment across the hall from mine over a year ago.

I have always been fairly sensitive to these things....however lately it's been pretty quite.

My advice if you come across a child spirit is, play with them or answer their questions. Sometimes that"s all it takes. For example: I was walking home from a friends house back when I was in high school. I had one little girl who asked where her teddy bear was? I told her her mommy took it to their new home in the sky. ( I could tell she was dead. She had a soft yellow glow around her) And if she listens I bet she can hear her mommy calling her for supper( even though it was almost midnight). She paused then turned back to me to say, "Thanks. Better hurry. Mama is making my favorite." She ran off down the street turning to mist. I never saw her again. I learned much much later that about 5 years prior a whole family died in a house fire a few streets over.

So, this was the shadow of a dead person, not one of the shadow people, right? As I understand it, they are "different" from one another.
Sounds like this shadow man was a guardian/protector of yours.

You are obviously very psychic with medium-ship abilities. When did you first start having paranormal experiences, and how did you handle it?

Mine started at age 6 and I was terrified out of my mind! I started shutting down, or at least, I tried to. If I had learned then how to use my abilities, and the methods of protection that I now know about, I would be famous now. LOL But, that was long ago, and such things were not discussed, or even accepted as real in my home.

I am pretty sure it was a shadow person. Not all shadow people are not the same. Some a bad, some, good, and some neutral. Spirits have a different vibe. . . to me anyways.

I was about 4-5 yrs old. I was terrified as any little kid could be. I can't sense every being, just those who choose to be found. I also don't go looking for them.

You seem to have adapted pretty well. I don't know that I could ever try to communicate with a shadow person. From everything I've ever heard about them, they drain the life out of humans over a period of time. You're the first to say it helped you. Thanks!

Don't know much about that. Usually they just watch in a corner. Some times I feel like I am in a zoo being observed. Who knows what they are. Could even be trans dimension beings. What ever they are, I haven't had many negative experiences. Most of the time I can say "get the f away from me." If they pause I scream "NOW." I guess they don't want to mess with the crazy mad lady whom they just woke up. Lol.

You should ask her what happened when we did magic together..

That happens in the other building of my apartment complex .
A guy committed suicide last year and he was seen standing in the corner in the apartment upstairs of his former apartment by an entire family that had just moved in. They were from out of state and had no idea what had happened.
They moved out very shortly after.
The people that live there now have not seen anything that I know of,
so he might of just been curious about the family.

yeah, real busy!

Busier than I have ever had to be with this job.
Still busy, can't relax until after next week, and depending on what happens,
I may have more time on my hands than I want.

lol

But until then,
I will just keep on keeping on with everything and hope for the best knowing I did all I could.

Last night after I settled down to watch some t.v. I kept seeing a white misty thing moving in the corner of the living room from my peripheral vision . When I turned to look straight at it, I didn't see anything, but it happened several times.
My cat was passed out in my lap, so no help from her this time to validate something was there.

I wonder who is visiting me?

Maybe If I was doing anything intentional I could try a green ghost. Just kidding.
Sounds funny though. I was wondering if some things people see could be others using astral projection. They could be alive instead of dead and simply outside their body. I don't know but the idea sounded interesting to me. I haven't noticed any significant paranormal activity in a while so I've been quiet.

Yes, I believe it is others during their OBEs sometimes.
I had one member here telling me about him being in someone's house during an OBE, and the woman saw him and it scared her half to death!
Yeah, why couldn't it be possible? Our spirit energy looks the same outside our body now as it does after our body dies.

As for the visit... no thanks.

Hey Sled,

Just wanted to post something that happened today, actually this morning. Last night, I turned all the lights off in my apartment.

Woke up this morning, kind of suddenly, around 6am. The closet light and the bathroom light were on.

This happens on a very regular basis. It has been happening for years. I don't think it is someone who has recently passed, because it is very similar. It almost seems "motherly". Could it be one of my grandmothers?

I wake up suddenly, and all the lights are on in my room. Its totally different than ET stuff i've experienced.

I don't know what it means, if it means anything at all. Maybe someone is trying to tell me to, wake up, take a shower, and get dressed!

Anyways just wanted to share that!

I'm pretty sure that people can see others when they astral like that.

For a while I kept seeing someone sitting on my couch who I believe was astral peeking at who I was a while back.
It was kind of weird, but shortly after I said something about it, they stopped...lol

So I do believe it can happen.

The fact that you "feel" this is a motherly spirit tells me it could be. They may just be trying to get your attention to let you know they are with you. Did they leave the bathroom light on when they were alive?
I know when I was growing up we left the bathroom light on because we all had to get up during the night sometimes and needed a light to see by.

Maybe you could try asking her to turn on a different light as a sign it is her, and just see what happens.

Did the woman who was scared half to death post on here? I was wondering if she could describe what she saw. If he looked like me, that might make me believe I was really out of my body.

I heard a terrible scream and woke up. I was just experimenting and didn't even know where I was. I guess creeping around a strangers house during the middle of the night in an astral form might scare someone if spotted. That's the reason I don't experiment very much. If I'm really doing something, I might scare the living daylights out of someone. I'm not sure I was really having an out of body experience. It seemed more like a semi conscious dream. If I could really do OBE, then communicating with aliens might be something I already did more than once. I'm not sure if I want to have any more strange dreams about waking up on a planet in a different star system. That was really weird. It was a red star. They had weird plants too. It was probably just a dream but sometimes I wonder. It all seemed so real. I guess dreams can seem very real.

No, she didn't. The guy that had the OBE did. It could have been your post, for all I remember. So many different members have posted it's hard to remember who posted what.

I'm convinced that the more real a dream "seems", the more it is real. Sorry.
