i sure do
i wanted to talk about it earlier but thought people would be offended
i know my aunt has been diagnosed with it so its possible i might have it
but as blocula says below me i think ...well i mean the things we see i think are there but they are impossible in the eyes of scientists so they call u crazy and want to lock u up
i think schizofrenia should be called paranormalism or somthing because i dont think i am sick just diffrent
fortunatly im smart enough to not say anythink to a shrink or somthing because they get thought in school that we are all bat c33t crazy
i really doubt any of us would purposely hurt somebody else

My experiences have been mostly rare like once every 5 years or so. Then in 2009 I had a period of very intense experiences for 2 or 3 weeks and then it became gradually less frequent over a couple of years.

Interestingly, my aunt experienced something similar 20 years earlier, so she talked to me and gave me some helpful advice. She was actually put in a mental hospital for a week or two during her experiences. She pulled herself together and told them what they wanted to hear so they would let her leave, but her experiences continued many months afterwards.

As I've tried to write various experiences for this thread, I keep deleting them because I'm not sure they actually happened. For several weeks I thought there was a huge nationwide conspiracy of people who had decided to drive me insane. I thought one of my best friends had been captured and brainwashed by them. They put speakers in my apartment so they could play chanting all night long. I was afraid to buy groceries, because I suspected the people that worked in the grocery store might be drugging my food. I thought insects and animals were spying on me. If I saw a piece of trash on the ground I would think it was part of some plot against me.

That all sounds like schizophrenia, but many of my experiences were normal paranormal too.

Ever done any drugs, Cloudyday? Certain ones will make ALL those things happen! OCD, excessive paranoia, hallucinations, etc. Just wondering.........

Also, withdrawal from certain drugs will cause the same thing.
I'm not trying to discredit your story, just a serious question to consider.
So, tell us about the one's that were paranormal....

Nope, no drugs. I don't even take prescription drugs. When I was younger I experimented with some things, but I never enjoyed them. I drank too much, but I stopped drinking the day this started. That might indicate alcohol withdrawal except that it doesn't go on for weeks.

I think schizophrenia is probably a spectrum. At one end you have people who are completely rational all the time and never experience anything paranormal. At the other end you have schizophrenics who experience so much that they can't function. And in the middle you have most people. Certain things such as nutrition or stress might trigger a schizophrenic delusion in a person who is predisposed. I noticed in myself that I always felt oddly peaceful before I would experience something.

Also, I'm not claiming this is the answer. It's one of many theories I've considered. The other theories are: ESP, Christianity, some other type of religion.

I'll see if I can think of an experience. Most of mine are so weird and confusing that they wouldn't interest anybody.

One of the more strange experiences is this:

This was probably about a year after I had quit drinking and started going to church. I was praying a lot over several months that God would make me a better person. Finally I became so frustrated that I started tearing up all the Christian books I had purchased over the past year. I had a cross from Palm Sunday that I tore up and threw in the trash along with a cross that my sister-in-law had given me. (Basically I was throwing a tantrum.)

There was a cross on a leather necklace that my aunt had given me that I had hung on my doorknob. I thought about throwing that cross in the trash too, but I decided I would give it back to my aunt because it had some special meaning to her. I calmed down and sat on my couch feeling foolish.

Then I got up and looked at my doorknob and the cross was gone. I suddenly felt a sense of dread like I must have angered God. So I stood by an icon and apologized to God. My cat likes to be near me more than the average cat, so he was sitting on the floor while I was standing and apologizing to God. Then my cat hissed and I looked down to see the cross laying on the floor. The leather necklace portion was torn in half, but I tied a new knot shortening the necklace and put it back on my doorknob.

You would think something like this would increase my faith in Christianity, but it seemed to have the opposite affect. It really bothered me more and more over time. All my natural questions and doubts about Christianity seemed to required an answer, but I wasn't getting anywhere using the approach I was following. So I just gave up, and I try not to think about it too much.

Did the leather strap have a knot in it to begin with? Maybe your cat played with it until it became loose and fell off.
If not, this sounds similar to my story of my ring setting disappearing, and reappearing three months later.

Thanks for sharing.

It does sorta look like it has a dress on, but that is probably just energy emitting from the torso. The family thinks it is her husband because he planted the tree to the right of him for a Christmas tree when they were first married, and it was Dec. 18th when the pic was made. His daughter took the pic to capture the snow on the tree, and got this image when she put it on the computer. There is nothing in the yard in the space where the figure is standing for it to be anything else. I think this was his way of letting them know it was him still with them because of the significance of the tree to the family.

Like this persons soul is in limbo, between two worlds, still attached to a physical object that he doesnt want to let go of and leave behind...How did he die, unexpectedly?

Yes, he was dealing with lung cancer, but when he went to the hospital for some tests they made him cough hard, and when he did something ruptured in his lungs, and his lungs filled up with fluid faster than they could pump it out. He died on the table at the hospital. Not expected at all on a regular routine visit.

A thought for you. In my religious research I came across a secret. Simply put there is a long term Leviticus 26 curse on the earth. And the odd thing is that if you know about it you can get out of it. You just have to ask. Here's what you need to know.

Matthew 17 and what was said about John the Baptist. Malachi 4 verse 5 and 6. Leviticus 26 to understand the agreement made between Israel and their God. And then the book of Hosea. Hosea 6-1 and 2 explain it in a nutshell. And 2nd Peter 3-8 to understand that the days are really thousand year periods of time. And Hosea 5 and Matthew 13-13 to 15.

And if it works for you send me a note and tell me what happened if anything.

It had a knot originally, but the knot remained after the leather strap broke. It broke beside the knot where the leather was compressed. My doorknob is old and rickety, so I don't think anybody could break the leather strap without breaking the doorknob.

Everyone who hears this story assumes my cat was the culprit, but I know my cat. He plays with bottle caps and clutter all the time, but he makes a lot of noise jumping and running around. I would have noticed if my cat was playing with the cross. Also this hiss was the "I'm startled" type of hiss. My cat wouldn't be startled while he's playing.

I have two non-paranormal explanations but they both require me to have been insane:
(1) Maybe I took the cross off the doorknob, broke the leather strap, and held it in my hand without remembering the event or realizing that it was in my hand. Then I dropped it on the floor which startled my cat.
(2) Maybe none of it happened at all and I just remember it happening.

Thanks, I will read those verses and see if I find something. I've never had much luck understanding the Bible or theology, but who knows. I will send you a message if I do.

Why is the picture so fuzzy and blurry? I was expecting everything to be clear except for the ghost.

Never mind, I bet it was dark outside.

Yes, it was dark outside, and the picture was taken with a phone camera, I think, or just a cheap camera. They don't always make good pictures, especially at night. It was also still snowing which caused even more of a fuzzy look to it. A shame it wasn't captured with better resolution!
