i can see from the signs that the masses do not get it....capitalism, socialism, communism.....it is all the same....the corporations own the government........in capitalism the corporations own the politicians............in socialism the corporations are business partners with the government..............add to that what communism brings, the corporations own the people.

the people need to bring down the rothschilds and the rockefellers of the world. keep protesting, start boycotting targeted products and industries, hurt their wallets instead of playing into their hands and following the same path that turned russia communist.

What's with the stigma labelling on here about SOCIALISM? Do you know this country has many socialistic elements to it? What's worse than socialism is capitalism, out of capitalism spawns individualism, materialism and a nasty bunch of selfish egomaniacs that will # over anyone for a profit at any cost, the result is a divided and dysfunctional society where no one seems to care about anyone other than themselves and their own family, this is self evident in America TODAY. Capitalism has serious flaws like all the other social-political ISM's out there. The other thing with capitalism is that newer & better technologies are always being suppressed because some of them hurt the profits of companies that benefit from established technologies like oil and others, this is perhaps capatalisms biggest flaw of all, as it threatens to ruin our environment and already it is destroying many other systems of life on this Earth.

So don't talk to me about socialism and communism, there is a much greater threat to the earth and humanity and it is the destructive byproducts of the concept of money and capitalism.

An individual could never start it, individuals already have and its easy for the media to manipulate the story to make it look as if it were a lunatic that started shooting rather than someone pushed to there limits. An organization however that could organize could very easily start an armed revolution, but would be quick to be labeled as "domestic terrorists". And i`m not refering to the idiotic "occupy" movement, that was embarrasing, just like the morons doing the flash dance mob last year.

Well if a bunch of good ole boys from the south armed with shotguns are "domestic terrorists than so should every street gang out there should also be "domestic terrorists" and the DHS needs to focus on them rather than law abiding gun owners and amatuer explosion enthusiasts.

And yet my analysis remains correct due to the fact that not every single person involved in the movement behaves a certain way, nor do they partake in the same actions or hold the same views. I find it incredibly hard to believe that the majority of protesters are taking part in the violence that has occurred. Even if by some stretch that were the case, the fallacy still applies.

I wont be fighting any kind of offensive revolution, my fight will be purely defensive, securing my part of town with alot of others. Someones going to have to organize and take on the street gangs who will be the biggest threat.

If it comes to a civil war it will be agaist the government for how they handle their current situation. chances are they will agrivate the wrong people and then at that point cops soldiers and politicians will be targets.

This country loves key words for rebel rousing and inciting wars. First it was Imperalists are coming lets have a revolution. Then Slavery is good lets fight the north in the civil war. Then the Red Scare because communism is bad. Then terrorism lets go get Al Qaeda. Now socialism...let's occupy wall street.

How about this as a catch phrase....PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Quit looking for the government to tell you how to live and just live! The people should never be afraid of their government. The Government should be DAMNED SCARED of its PEOPLE!

Occupy has noble goals. As it was stated on the first page, there will be, in every protest, a group of immature pseudo-anarchists that want to cause a commotion. But Occupy does not in any way promote violence. Occupy stands for the right to be allowed to have things like freedom of assembly, the right to speak up, things that our Bill of Rights guarantees that are being slowly wrenched away.

Occupy is far from ever becoming an armed revolution, and only when the day comes where the United States government becomes a totalitarian regime will be the day when armed revolution truly begins. Patriotism is just an illusion that the capitalists have been using to rape the American people since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. The news doesn't even cover important events, rather what your favorite celebrities were doing the previous night, or what they were wearing. You need a permit in Chicago to protest now.. You have to pay, and be permitted to protest. Companies can file libel suits against people for everything they have when these people try to expose the companies for the horrible things they do to make money, when the things spoken against the company are true!

The U.S.A. in its conception was a place built on the foundation of freedom, but now we all worship the Almighty Dollar. If Occupy isn't a necessary movement, then at least it is a thought provoking one! Occupy can do nothing more than get the people that have lost their voice in this country to get their minds off of what the corporations feed you day and night on the television, and to THINK, and question the actions of our government.
