Anyone with a pulse knows that. Ask the Tea Partiers.

The Tea Party started because of the outrage genuine conservatives had about "so called conservatives" voting for Bush/Paulson bank bailouts.

Within 30 days the infiltration was well under way... within 90 days the "Tea Party" had become part of the Republican Darling Association.

@TheHoneyComb and others... a strict one sided view of OWS, such as you are touting here, as like a neon sign saying "I'm well informed, because I get my news from the well informed conservative talk radio and Fox News."

There is liberal media... and there is conservative media... and they both are nothing more than a channel to direct Hegelian Dialectic "Divide and Conquer".

Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, etc... etc... as well as their counterparts on the left... all of them are chewing your dinner for you, and spitting it out on a plate so you can spoon it up and eat it.

If you actually spent time with OWS folks... you would realize:

1.) Yes, there are forces out there trying to co-opt the movement

2.) There are a crap load of seriously good folks that are part of the movement

3.) There are some socialists

4.) There are original Tea Partiers

5.) There is every manner of person from across the political spectrum, and they have started to realize that voting solves NOTHING... the vote count is rigged

You wouldn't actually eat a meal that someone else chewed up and spit out for you... why take your ideas the same way?

QUESTION: Who on these boards can define what "Critical Thought" is, from a classical standpoint?

Throw some definitions out there gang... lets see what we come up with!

I believe the Summit begins May 19. I have put a Chicago travel freeze on my department for the week prior to and the week after the Summit. My sister lives Downtown Chicago and she's taking a vacation around that time.

Not to mention that they have bought into OWS so much because they like the idea of it, that they have become unwilling to look into derogaratory views on OWS unless it is for the purpose of debunking.

To be objective one must put their emotions aside and look at something objectively and then make a conclusion.

And that is why OWS is in full DENIAL, they bought into the idea and then acted upon it, without further research. Now they have bought into it so they defend their views because they have even acted upon them and they don't want to be proven wrong.

My message to OWS is, it is ok to be wrong and others will forgive you as long as you learned something and admit that you were wrong. Forgiven.

The word I used is apt and I suppose to remain within T&C's I won't mention the word that comes to mind in reference to the post I'm replying to. You seem to not realize how desperately the mouth pieces and talking heads need for the status quo to remain...so much so that they blatantly lie about anything and everything that seeks to change a hair. You've chosen to listen those who need things to stay the same instead of the people actually involved in the movement, there's nothing I can do about that. I can talk til I'm blue in the face or my fingers fall off and not one layer of ignorance will be shed. I don't require forgiveness and certainly not from the likes of people that choose to spew ignorant bile all over the place.

Thats all fine and I don't expect you to want my forgiveness or anyone else, yet. There is more damage to be done and I can guarantee you it will be tied to the occupy movement.

Now that said. I think we all want the same things, some of us just happen to have different ideas and ways to achieve those goals.

The occupiers are pissed they stopped

You've never even been to Oakland and you have no idea about it's subculture, it has everything to do with the area and the miniculture in that part of the Bay Area.

The American lifestyle is built today on the labour of the oppressed in nations that have been given sovereignty by American collaboration in letting them repress their own human desire for freedom.
