One the Occupy Movements numbers exceed this weakened nations ability to control you will see the scales tip. Their are only so many police and the military may refuse to turn their weapons on americans that are doing something that each individual soldier in their heart may be in some agreement with. I don't think you understand, I'm a wannabe pusher of the prominent force of anarchy on this internet. I "was" a moderator of r/anarchism on Reddit, a place where the Occupy Movement grew to what it is today. I can't claim any glory in achieving what they do without me, I am merely the vessel of how their signal grew. My link junkie nature took me to cross-pollinating Occupy Movements in Reddit, not shouting in the streets.

I know what Occupy Wallstreet is, I was there from the beginning as it grew into the campaign you see today. I heard rumblings of it coming cause I had my ears to the ground for exactly this.

Don't presume to know much about me, I know so much more about who is supporting Occupy that I want to. Merely my lack of understanding can't be held against me, I've got the noise, I've got the signal, the power to use noise as signal is my specialty.

Socialist? Interesting as I never read that in any OWS hand out. OWS is sick of politicians selling the country out for personal gain, and for your friends buying influence, senators, congressmen, and judges. If you are looking for a catalyst, look no further than "Citizens United" or the "Patriot Act. Or perhaps our invasion of a country that did nothing to us except having ownership of 25% of the worlds oil reserves. Or could it be that Americans are tired of watching their elections be stolen? Or possibly watch as banks were going under that your friends handed them $1 trillion of our money, and then laid off 10% of the work force?

The issue here is "we, the people of the United States" are no longer represented in our own government, and the people we elected to represent us are selling us out as fast as they can hide their pay offs.

Back to when companies didn't get tax breaks to outsource our jobs and before corporations were legally decided to be 'people' and their money 'free speech'. Socialism?????? Gimme a break.

But, violence for the sake of violence shall never persevere. The OWS movement lost the sympathy of the public due to its lack of coherent message and violent attitude. If, they would have put forth a coherent reason for their actions and, more importantly, showed a viable solution, their base would have swelled.

But, they did little more than cause a nuisance, pitch a tent on a sidewalk and crap in a plastic bag. They no longer represent those hurt by the percieved actions, or in actions, of this government. They failed from the start.

Instead of being lazy and asking for a handout, doing something more productive. People who support the OWS movement only talk about the evils of the 1% or whatever. How about instead, these OWS people actually offer a way to change all this. How about they actually do something productive to change whatever it is they're protesting.

In all fairness to occupiers, lobbyists say no!

That's the real problem. How do they get lobbyists both corporate and political out of Washington? Politicians make the laws, yet refuse to change them as both sides are being enriched by this setup.

Put flowers in guns, tell them to turn swords to plowshares. Should they shoot us, the fungi on our rotting corpses shall infect them, nature takes its toll on the violent deaths of others. We spread, our cause is infectious and the grass roots movement shakes the Earth. But shaking the Earth to destroy trees, only so new ones can grow, is a violent upheaval. Perhaps to let these new plants grow, we have a controlled burn of old growth, prevent it from becoming dead wood for uncontrolled forest fires later.

I really was undecided about the occupy movement. I watched some of the arrests in Oakland and kept and open mind. Just a few minutes ago I read about how they have disrupted 3 Pro-Life rallies in Rhode Island within the last week and can see one thing - that they are against is the right to life movement.

I have been trolling the comments in this thread and I am truly amazed at the mentality of some of these posts. Particularly the ones that are absolutely against the protests (for a wide variety of reasons)!

Out of all of the posts I have seen that were against the protests, all I have seen is hateful messages about why everyone should be against them; but yet, hardly anyone who is against the protestors, have one offer of a solution as to what we need to do to take back our country from the global banksters who have taken it over! Can any of you who are against it, at least be adult enough and look in the mirror and say to yourself, “What am I doing to take back my country?”? Do you really think this bogus election is going to change anything for the better?

Seriously? Burning the flag is a reason to get upset? I am a veteran and I thought I would never see myself seeing the burning of our flag acceptable, UNTIL NOW! What does that flag stand for at the moment? Liberty? Freedom? Really? I am not so sure anymore. You see, one of the things our government uses very successfully in manipulating the masses is the “patriotism” ploy! A true patriot of this country would want to attack the elitists that have taken it over! Not a group of protestors. As a few people have mentioned already, things are not going to change unless we do have violent uprisings. It is very unfortunate, but if you look at history, when has anything been changed for the better without violence? Those in charge, could care less about our peaceful protests. While we protest, they just figure out more ways to tighten the chains of slavery around our throats! If you think your governments care about you, ask yourself this question, “How did we get to where we are, if our governments were not corrupt in the first place?”?

“Oh, look at how the protestors are destroying property!”. Well, maybe so. As I have seen others point out, you will always have idiots that act out in manners that are destructive to ANY cause! I saw a few people mention “agent provocateurs”. Again, for those of you who choose not to accept the fact that agent provocateurs are another weapon used by our government and media to further their agenda........I guess you don't read a whole lot about history. The UK is famous for implanting agent provocateurs into protests. But then again, I guess the good ole USA would NEVER use that kind of underhanded tactic against it citizens. Who do you think starts most of the conflicts in the middle east??? The CIA! They wrote the book on how to stir up uprisings.

Now let's talk about the media. I will have to admit, that the media did a really fine job in only showing the far left groups that seemed to saturate the news casts during the protests, which in turn, made a lot of people mad as hell. For those of you who mention Soros, yes he did infiltrate groups into the protests. Two words, “agent provocateurs”! We saw Obama support the protestors, again, why? After all is he not part of the reason we are having these problems? It is all nothing more than ploys to get people to argue and disagree about the actual cause. Who wins if the propaganda instituted by the media and government succeeds? Who wins if the protests break up? The elitists that are in charge win! Us poor slaves, oh well, we just do what we gotta do and try to scrape by the best we can.

“Divide and Conquer”, is one of the oldest military strategies use thru out history. Our government has used it very successfully! Look at the arguing we do over racial issues. Look at the arguments over religion. Look at politics, look at social classes etc etc....All of these things have been created for a reason. Don't you think it would scare the hell out of those in charge if we could all just work at being decent human beings and ignore all of the bull# that is thrown at us only for the purpose of destroying us???

I am sorry for my rant, but I just can't sit by idly watching people who are in the grasp of mind control so bad, that they are willing to destroy any hope of us changing anything to the positive in this world.

Do I know an answer to all of this? NO,,,,,,I do not. I am fearful to say, that the only thing I see that may change the condition of where we have traveled to, is unfortunately violence and uprising. With that being said, we will never be successful, unless we can work together and point our frustrations at the cause rather than each other.
