That many of the youth in OWS come from 'dropout factories' and 'transformational education' I'm impressed they can even find their way to OWS.
Not to mention the pharmaceuticals required by law to attend the above (vaccinations, unless your parents are very exemption savvy which most are not)
or the medications insisted upon (Ritalin etc) to control behavior. I have a young friend that had learning disabilities which resulted in emotional
issues and the school required him to be medicated. His mom died and his grandma took him out of public school, off the meds...now he is a perfectly
normal functioning adult with a steady job. I remember so clearly our conversation one night, he was 13, telling me how bad the drugs made him
feel...couldn't think or feel anything. Another friend of mine had his daughter in that same public school which was big on mandatory medication
(and some shady links to kick backs for such). The school demanded she be medicated for ADDH. Even tho the parents fought it the ultimatum was do or
remove. He and his wife not only watched her change before their eyes but at night would watch her sleep and pull out clumps of her hair. The school
was also pressing to medicate their younger son. So the wife quit her job which meant hubby had to take doubles, home schooled and the kids were
fine.

That comes from those who think like you and your candidate. Again, working the phones, working the streets, going door to door to get your message of change out to the populace. Since this is a congressional district, you don't have to get your message out to that many people, just those in your district. Each and every one of us has a different "best Interest." It is up to the government to figure out, using their best judgement, how to serve the best interest of most. You or anyone else will never make everyone happy.

I just wanted to point out that your video doesn't show what actually happened. First off there is no actual evidence a protester pushed her down the stairs. That was obvious the very first time I watched it.
Another video shows what REALLY happened, and that is her husband is responsible for knocking her over because he was trying to get through the crowd.
To say the protesters knocked her over is just dishonest.

Well what they have been doing wasn't working. Shame it turned to this. Though I believe the shock and awe angle is the only way to get through to

I think Obama will be given a second term to cement Obamacare. (Obamacare is not really about improving healthcare. It's about the Federal government taking over one sixth of the US economy and creating massive new bureaucracies to control every aspect of the citizens' lives. Okay I'll agree to disagree. Its a piece of cloth. It feels no pain. Burning flags isn't starting riots. Its the people, who burn them with the wrong intent. They do it to disgrace what the flag stands for. At the end of the day it's still just a piece of cloth.
There are many views on if its right or wrong. Nobody will ever win the argument.
In the end what are flags? Pictures representing values. Nothing more, nothing less. Some people just put too much emotion behind them and then that emotion turns to hate and anger when their message isn't heard so they turn to burning a flag.
At the end of the day I would rather see a flag burn than someone get shot to get a point across. To accuse anyone of wanting a martyr is ridiculous.

The flag represents the nation. Burning it is symbolically burning the nation or the powers in charge.
