Are there any videos of these paranormal sightings. I'm new to all this and want to see as much as I can.

Didn't Nikola Tesla always claim to have come from Venus? Although I don't personally believe it.
Like some have said science changes all the time, we are told that the chances of life there are basically zero. But just the other week we were also told that nothing can travel faster than light and duly that was proved wrong by neutrinos. Hypothetically speaking, how can we prove that for example Venus is not hollow and life has developed inside the planet? I refuse to rule anything out. Science is forever evolving so never say never...

Okay, you got me. I've obviously been shooting from my hip on this one. As you probably already knew, the "lens caps" were semi-cylindrical to begin with:

Good now we are getting somewhere

Now riddle me this Batman...

WHY is everyone assuming that the photo in the OP article of the lens cap is the 'life' that is mentioned in the article? Seems to me more likely the news agency just used a generic photo of venus because they, like us, don't have access to the actual study images. Personally I think your all barking up the wrong tree on that photo

Now THIS one posted on page one by NowanKenubi on Page One is more like it

I have heard that about Tesla but still searching for the original quote of him saying it

I also have an RV report done by a group tied to the old Project Stargate RVers and its very interesting... in fact it scared the team so much they have not given me permission to release it yet

Maybe ATS should have it's own RV team

Because, as far as we know, that is the image referrenced by the agency in that article. It is the only picture that has a similar object in it that has seemingly 'relocated' itself. ” All of them “emerge, fluctuate and disappear,”-from the OP.

The other picture, has no source, and as yet cannot be corrobarated. I did question that fact in an earlier post. That could just be a random picture. The background doesn't look like any of the other pictures, and I see no reason (unless we find a source) to relate the sets of pictures to each other.

Pics or it didn't happen

Voila! Note the croissant shaped object. It appears to rotate or flop:

nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov...

There is a similar object in an image from Venera-14 which remains stationary. This leads me to suspect that it is a part of the probe's bus that has fallen off and been shifted by a gust of dense, 400 km/hr wind. Nice find though! Star and flag!

It does appear to have rotated but it also seems to be in a different location :s

I don't see how any living thing could survive that kind of heat. Must have been some kind of glitch.

There's no reason that every planet couldn't have some life form or another. I doubt that they'll grow humans there, but there's worms that live in ice and there's animals that live in underwater volcano vents. There might even be life on the moon. Mushrooms grow in total darkness, so even light isn't necessary for some life forms.

RIA-Novosti is a reliable agency. Leonid Ksanfomaliti is a real space scientist, but he seems to have some rather odd ideas in his dotage. He may be looking for publicity, or he may be suffering from dementia praecox.

Kinda strage to risk your reputation for some crazy publicity! Just how old is this guy? I'm looking for some background on him, but not coming up with much.

Dementia is pretty bad, I remeber my grandad (bless his soul) telling my family he invented and created dry ice LOL! So dementia doesn't seem to inhibit one's creativity!

Here is another picture of what he found.

LV Ksanfomaliti / "Celestial Messenger"
"Scorpion" in the photo with "Venera 13"

That is the "Scorpion"

The pictures, taken on Venus in the 1980s, Soviet landing probes, there are moving objects, might have "properties of living beings," said chief researcher, Institute of Space Research RAS Leonid Ksanfomaliti.

Among them - "Drive", which changes its shape, the "black patch" appeared on the first shot in a cone for measuring mechanical properties of the soil, and then disappeared, and the "Scorpion" in its structure resembles a large terrestrial spiders or insects.

In particular, the "Scorpion" appeared around the 90th minute from power on camera, but after 26 minutes he was gone, and in its place left a groove in the ground.

According to the hypothesis Ksanfomaliti, first published lander loud noise - squib firing, working drilling rig. Part of the "slum" left the danger area, and are not on the following pictures, but some of them (eg, "scorpion") sleep ejected during landing ground, and slowly they were drawn from it, which explains the half-hour delay in their appearance.

"Without discussing the existing notions about the impossibility of life under conditions of Venus, made a bold assumption that the morphological characters still suggests that some of the found object has properties of living beings" - says the scientist.

He notes that in his article does not include other similar materials obtained in the analysis of data from the "Venus-13" and other devices of the series "Venus", which the scientist is planning to publish separately. Original Source: planeta.mov.su...

Well thanks for trying, but again, that site is NOT a credible source. Where are they getting the image from? I have not seen that image related to anthing 'Venus' in any of the usual places.

If they have an exclusive picture, what makes that site so special, that is was chosen for exclusivity?

Silly lemmings...

:shk:

Lesson in searches...

Step 1 Take URL of image you want to find out more info on...

Step 2 Open Google Image Search click on little camera Icon in search bar

Step 3 Paste in Url of photo in question into space provided

Step 4 View results and find source
Google Search Results

That will be $2.43 for tutorial

Good grief, does no one here know how to do research anymore?

Just write the Russian Agency and ask for the paper

Silly lemming? Perhaps you should look into what I mean by a source. Random images, unless backed and corrobarated cannot be considered a source.

Why hasn't that image been shown in other articles pertaining to this 'story'? What is so special about that site, that it has obtained a seemingly exclusive picture?

This thread gave me another reason to be happy today.

I happy that I found it before it was 20 pages long.

Six pages of debating whether an ejected piece of the probe, more than likely designed to fall off was 'flopping' around. The original story coming from a scientist that believes our solar system was designed by an alien.

Right.

I doubt this will become a controversy. It looks like nothing in all honesty. Actually the more i look like .. the more it looks like nothing :/

No offense to the OP .. but this isn't going to go anywhere (in my opinion). You can't get much more speculative of a picture than this one right here. I also think there is something in our skies that perhaps should not be. I just can't see this picture convincing any one of anything relating to extraterrestrial life.

We found living organisms in a nuclear powerplant's contaminated water eating away the metal in it right here on earth.I do not think the heat or any of the enviroment is a plausible argument to dismiss the possiblity of life.

Is posting blindly, pictures that have no source now considered research? I am to assume by your reply then, that you have written to the Russian agencies and obtained confirmation, that this picture, was indeed taken by Venus-13?

Yes well we all know that any scientist that has any different view on anything is naturally suffering from dementia praecox., senility or any other convenient disorder.

Funny you didn't bring that up in the thread of the NASA LROC scientists that said we should look for Alien Artifacts on the Moon

looking at this thread I see very few people actually doing any research. If this guy is legit, and the Russian Space Agency is legit, a simple request for a copy of the paper seems like a simple task. You don't even need to know Russian because Russians in any position are pretty fluent in English
(And there is always google translate)

My request is already on the way. I have had very good results getting papers by simply asking from scientists around the world and on that Martian Methane one we were even asked to give our evaluation

Okay sorry to interrupt... back to the regularly scheduled opinion fest
