Hermosa Beach UFO 1/13/2012

I came across this online which also brought me to a few others in Hermosa Beach. I don't usually post UFO videos because many I come across are not really anything I find of interest, these however I do. Not sure what they are but I do not think they are flares, chinese lanterns or swamp gas

This is the one from Friday the 13th of January 2012.

On Friday, January 13, 2012, a 42-year-old freelance photographer from California witnessed a UFO sighting over Hermosa Beach. This witness was able to record the UFO sighting on video. The video shows six bright lights suspended across the sky at sunset in an almost perfect straight line. The unidentified flying objects were so bright that they are very easy to spot in the video, although it takes some scrutiny to discover the sixth and final UFO in the line of objects. A close-up of one of the objects shows a UFO that emanated red rays of light from its body. The other appear to be identical.

A helicopter comes in at the end of the video and the lights all disappear in order.


Here is another one that is from August 2011

Watch the the left side. An object comes in and it looks like it's moving pretty fast then just stops.

Then I found this one and it's supposedly from New Years, it's also Hermosa beach. The same youtube poster as the ones above, nerdum. Makes me think of the Phoenix lights.


I haven't seen a UFO video in a while that makes me go oooohhh ahhh, well these did.

So what do you think?

They are very interesting. It's weird that they are perfectly spaced apart. In one of them it looks like one ufo is moving real fast and just stops when it gets in formation with the rest of the lights. It's not the way any of our air crafts would be able to move. And it does NOT look like lanterns. I like your videos. Star and flag for you!

It looked like flares to me. The way the last video blinked out from left to right one after another suggests flares. Sometimes the chutes don't open up right away and they appear to travel a bit before the chute opens.

That is the one that made me post this thread! No lantern or flare will do that! It comes in full force and just stops.

Wow what a lucky guy to see so much "ufo" activity over his home...always happening in the same location too! Yet no news reports? No mass sightings? No other videos from other people?

He claims he had dreams that sent him outside to look up......

The dream that drew me to this location had 6-7 bright orbs that were hovering just above the water and flying at high speeds. So I went to the location I was called to and saw the planet like point of light in the sky and this is what I caught.

I had 2 dreams that took me to this location to capture this.

I have a close friend who lives in Hermosa....Im going to message him and ask if he has seen these lights that appear on multiple occasions...I know he runs at dusk and dawn often....when not on duty....

I hate to be the one to call it....but me thinks someone is playing with CGI but i could be wrong...certainly no expert...

I looked at his youtube and he only has 4 videos all the same pretty much.

I saw his dream comment too. I believe in many different things and I believe dreams have meaning. I have had dreams come true that freaked me to the core.

Could be CGI who knows, but I did google "Hermosa Beach UFO's" and quite a bit comes up. I did find another one that has two parts with it and it's a blue object but it could be one of those LED kites. Here is the video.


I look at tons of UFO vids and these were the first ones I have seen that had me stumped esp the one where it just comes from the left fast and then suddenly stops.

Can anyone tell if it's CGI? I'm not good with video editing or telling if it's been edited.

I know some members around here know the signs of CGI...using after affects and all that....but im not expert enough to say for certain.... *shrug*

There are comments on the videos begging people to subscribe to his you tube channel. That's always a red flag.

I don't know, but for me, if these are alien, black ops flares, natural occurrences, it is actually quite boring. I almost yawned myself to sleep on the video's.

Where did I ever say they were alien?

UFO=unidentified flying object, that doesn't mean alien piloted. It just mean unidentified flying object.

You may find it boring, I don't and so do many other people.

I look at the videos as "evidence" not if they want to have subscribers. I tell people to subscribe to mine too that I post. It's just a youtube thing, kind of like how people want to you read their threads on here. It doesn't mean they are full of it or lying, just means they want people to see what they have to present...or that is how I see it. I looked at their page, they have 4 videos and they are all of the same objects. I also found other videos in various other places with similar videos.

As for it being CGI haven't a clue how that works but it doesnt look or feel like CGI to me. It looks like many other videos with the same objects.

If ufo's are so boring to you then why are you in this forum?

I on the other hand found them interesting especially the one the op mentioned as moving fast from left to right. Are they cgi? I dunno but they sure are purty.
The fact that the guy had a dream relative to the sighting screams to me that this guy is hoaxer and trying to pull a fast one on ufo believers, but stranger things have happened

pretty cool how they turn off in order, but more than likely just controlled flares or something of some sort

For all you who keep claiming flares come on!

Unless flares defy gravity and can just hover and make quick movements and stop I doubt it and no I dont think it's CGI, that is laughable and an easy answer as well. Seems nobody takes these things seriously anymore on here.

Something is going on in the skies and it's not just in California but everywhere, just look it up yourself.

I find it very interesting that in a couple videos I have posted helicopters are in the same area. Now why would that be?


I have u2u'd another member about CGI, hopefully they can give some direction on how to tell if it truly is.

Helicopters are nothing out of the ordinary, especially over a place like Hermosa Beach CA. They are probably police, news or EMT helicopters. The "UFO" lights were most likely added to the footage using something like Adobe After Effects.

It's too bad these things didn't happen over a densly populated area where there would be thousands of witnesses and video/photos from multiple angles. What a pity.

The moron who made these videos is nothing more than your average, ignorant "youtube superstar". His idiotic videos are INSTANTLY DISCREDITED with even grade school common sense, reason and logic. But anybody that exhibits that around here is called a disinfo agent or government shill. Thus this seubject will remain the laughable joke that it currently is. It is a vicious cycle, but one that needs to be broken in order for us to seriously take on reality.

The reason there are thousands of videos like this out there clouding the real mystery of aliens/ufo's is becasue there are masses of ignorant people that are into this subject. They are what I call "useful idiots". That is not really an insult, but it is reality. If we had less useful idiots we would have less garbage like this typical youtube superstar stuff.

Since you are really into UFO's, and a big part of that is video evidence, why don't you take a little bit and educate yourself about video using any one of the dozens free or cheap software packages out there? Download one of them, follow a couple of tutorials....etc. You don't need to become an expert at it, just get some knowledge on the process.

I mean, if your REALLY interested in denying ignorance, why not learn at least the basics of the things that you view EVERY DAY about a subject your really intersted in?

I don't understand why people are so scared to learn a thing or two about reality around here......

sorry, but as soon as i read/hear something like "dreams made me look outside" it immediately screams HOAX to me

IMO, this is a very very very common thing done using Adobe After Effects...there are dozens or more vids out there w/ these lights...and all the CGI experts say they know it is done in AAE...

Again, im no AAE expert, and look forward to the experts coming and confirming....but Ive seen so many of these CGI vids....they are easy to spot now...

If I had time, I would learn AAE...but school sucks up so much of my time.....maybe someday
