What brought anarchy to that region ?

Have you forgotten already?

It was Tehran that threatened a year or so ago to bring the Region to flames if the West did not leave. Meanwhile it has seemed to have backfired.

Now hasn't it?

What are those puppeteers are going to get from providing local TV networks for the people ? (what do they get in return ?)

The same thing PressTV is attempting eh?

And you should believe that bitter fact just like how American people supported Bush to attack Afghanistan and Iraq.

Support Bush?
No. Support the troops? Yes. I never supported the War in Iraq, But Afghanistan is a whole other beast.

People find the easiest way to believe , and the easiest way to get informed is TV.

Tell that to PressTV and all the BS they spew as well. The Problem with your argument is that many here know for a fact what the MSM is spewing. Can you sit there and deny PressTV is doing the same thing?

Objectivity?

Peace: To live in Submission to Allah and his Servants.

I know. Islam is a religion of Submission to Allah and his Servants. The Qu'ran contians several thousand examples on how to obtain and maintain this submission, and they are bullying and war.

Peace of Apollo Be Upon You.

What hmd just was eluding to is that freewill is a major hot topic in Islam.

Predestination is a pillar of Islam, and you can work out for yourself what that destination is.

You know , Islam is so complicated and simple.

I have chosen the complicated.

It is really hard to understand what is really going to be what Allah meant in his book.

Some times it will just bring headache.

And how people who are ignorant will be punished in the judgement day was a question for me.

Now , I have my answer.

None at all. I understand.

Soverignty is invested only in the Kingdom of Allah, through obedience to the Servants of Allah. Tawhid.

Thanks for playing.

Peace of Loki Be Upon You.

The people who are against the theocracy are well under 30% of the population. Now all great changes are spearheaded by a few, so that might not be all that bad.

Against the current theocracy? People under the age of thirty make up 70% of the population and most of them want to get out...so I think it has to be over 30%. Maybe less than 30% of the people oppose a theocracy...

I do know the people generally love their religion...however, the current theocracy does not live up to the peoples religious ideals.

However, you do need to keep in mind that Islam is full of regressive clawbacks in a way that no other religion mimics.

My experience tells me it depends on the practitioner rather than the religion. Besides that, keep in mind that there has been an internal struggle against Islam for over 1200 years; ever since Persia was invaded and Islam was forced upon the people. Oppression has been key to the success of Islam and the capability to adapt has been key to the survival the peoples traditions.

Right now, there are Persian poems that are illegal in Iran. Getting caught with a poem(!) usually carries a severe punishment...and so the people are denied their heritage - information is not freely shared; that's why there are internet restrictions!

Then you have the statistics ?

a survey or something ?

And remember once it was legal we had anarchy and chaos.

The numbers in the elections of all the Islamists states, whose population pyramids are bottom heavy, all show that your view that "most" want to get out is mistaken.

Sorry. I know you'd really like to believe that, but the "reformation" you are wanting isn't the one they are looking for. You've been had.

As to the freedom of the Internet, I would like to recommend to you a book called "The Net Delusion."

While I love the idea of freedom through information, underlying pysiological differences in the make up of brains betwee groups is ignored in this theory. As is the underlying psychology of bias, mental scotoma, contextual cultural framework, the ladder of inference combined with the significant overload of information which is not well presented all of which adds up to something that is not actually freeing.

Futureshock needs to be updated with CultureShock and Neurological Psychology.

No, since I heard people are too afraid to speak out.

And remember once it was legal we had anarchy and chaos.

Because of the poems? Or because of the internal power vacuum and struggle against oppressive rulers and religious authorities? Or because there was nobody at that time to unite all the different people?

Those poems are a reflection of the time they were written in. You cannot seriously say they caused anarchy and chaos, that would be backward and circular reasoning.

See how hmd never actually addresses any of my points?

This is the usual technique. There are some much better at redirection than hmd. Salafists are excellent at it. They'll spin entire tales of "let me ask you a question" rather than be pinned down to an answer.

My Freind, you are wasting your time.

You have 4 or 5 Warmongers , sitting in a circle, mutually satisfying each other.....

Looking to dissect a word to turn into a Aha , or gotcha moment.

They are not looking to learn or see the other side.

Haters gonna hate, It keeps them enlarged in their own minds.

Best to you sir.

Another olive branch has been extended:

TEHRAN, Iran — U.S. President Barack Obama has called for direct talks with Iran in a secret letter to the Islamic Republic's supreme leader that also warned Tehran against closing the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a conservative Iranian lawmaker was quoted as saying Wednesday.
link

And Iran has responded:

TEHRAN – The deputy commander of the Armed Forces has said that Iranian stealth submarines are able to lie in wait in the Persian Gulf to target hostile aircraft carriers that are moving near them.

“If an ordinary submarine submerges in the Persian Gulf, it could be the worst threat to the enemy. It is one of the Americans’ fears because our submarines are covered with coatings that do not allow sound to travel through them and do not reflect sound waves sent by (enemy vessels’) sonar systems,” Rear Admiral Farhad Amiri said in an interview with the Fars News Agency published on Wednesday.

“When the submarine lies on the sea bed, it can easily target an aircraft carrier that is passing nearby,” he said.

Tehran continues to beat the war drum while US continues to peacefully negotiate.

Who is the warmonger???

Hell, I am still waiting for my answer as well.

Hey hmd, say hello to my fellow Americans when they kick down your door this year!

You don't understand your own religion, but promote it unrelentingly because you are told to.

Yes, I get it.

Don't feel bad. Some uneducated Christians don't like it when the pagan kicks them in the theology either. At least it tends to provoke them to want to understand though.

May you find Peace with Hel.

So , what is exactly your point ?( where is the address of the quotation?)

I am not a religious teacher and I am not a prophet and there is not much blessing in speaking to the one covered his ears with his hands .

You want to hear your words out of my moth. You don't need a new statement.
