ENOUGH has been committed against indigenous peoples as to warrant serious punishment upon anyone who victimizes them in such insanely heinous ways.

I agree, but they should be tried and convicted, of course.


It's akin to aliens coming to earth and killing us in horrific ways, like burning our eyes out with lasers and such....

Columbus did NOT come in search of gold (they didn't even 'pan' for gold at that time, it was mined). They were searching for spices and faster trade routes. Read his own words regarding the people he met, we could learn a lot from great people like Admiral Columbus.
He treated all people on his journeys with kindness and gave them gifts, it's absurd to say he did what you are claiming.
He never did reach America, that is a myth. Here is his story:
He reached the Bahamas during his first voyage.Then he set sail again and found Cuba and Hispaniola(Modern day Cuba and the Dominican Republic).He saw Trinidad during his third voyage, and Venezuela.

The ship's recorder entered in his journal on Thursday, October 11, 1492, the following:

The entire citizenry of Brazil should be carpet bombed off the face of the earth and the nation turned into a wildlife reserve. It really isn't that hard to get lodgers under control. A dozen or more well trained military sharp shooters could end this but the Brazilian Government wouldn't mind collecting kick backs and taxes from the lodgers and miners.

Any and all involved with such atrocity for money - including the CEOs of the corporations that incentivise such actions and therefore are directly responsible - should be summarily sentenced to death. No exceptions.

Watch these tribes thrive if such a law were imposed... just watch.

Those loggers should be tied to a tree and burned limb by limb. I just hope justice will be done if not in this life, then in the next. And I hope the angel's were with that young child and taking away some of the pain.

I'm coming to the conclusion lately that the only way to deal with these types of evil people is a bullet to the head.

When I don't think people can get any more despicable they go and surprise me. Have any of the networks in the States carried the story?

When I read this thread all I see is "this should happen to the loggers" "that should happen to the loggers"

If you dont want to see things like this happen the best place to start is at home.... Dont eat Maccas, grown your own veges, get some chickens, so on and so forth. Because if you dont provide the demand then people like this wont be getting money.

With the way things are going in the world Im sure we are going to see more and more random acts of violence and just all round more general indencency, this incident is a good example, so is the soldiers pissing on dead bodies, that thread on the dog getting blown up, the thread about the child molester.... just to name a few.

Its already been said a million times that this is sick and wrong but condemming those warped men isnt going to change the fact the girl was murdered now is it. I at least hope this thread, along with others serves to wake people up, I must agree though that humanity is in bad, bad shape.

I've not seen it mentioned anywhere else, but I've been at work and not following the news much.

I have been thinking about this story all day, though. I had some bad things happen in my own life today, and all I could think was that my own problems absolutely pale in comparison to the struggles faced by so many in the world, like the tribespeople being terrorized by these loggers.

I live in Brazil and made a research but found nothing more thant what is said in the news posted here.

If fact this can be true, but is a very delicate issue. There are a lot of places here that simply have presence of the state (just figure out the size of the forests.).

But in some places, the indians have so much power that the brazilian state (and people) are fobidden to enter their territory. In these places the gringos have control (ongs, mining companyes, big pharma...), and not rarely japanese or american flags can be seen in the jungle.

4.5 millions hm² of brazilian territory is directly owned by foreigners.
