Yes, it was a bit of baiting on my behalf. Its interesting how he never responded though. He could simply have given his opinion. Told us he did not approve. Would that have been difficult? His silence on the matter is telling.

And no, i do not have a problem with Iranians in general. Its their government i despise. I dont expect them to all follow like maniacs as you suggest, but when they hang gays, they do it in public, and many people have shown up to watch. I couldnt imagine watching such a thing, i would vomit.

How you read me justifing nuclear weapons in that post is beyond me. I simply said of any nation on earth who WOULD be justified, it would be Japan. And they swore them off, for that i was commending them.

And let me ask you this: would you answer that Iran is justified in creating nuclear weaponry since other states, including Israel has? Or do you think they should be stopped if it was discovered that it was their intention to make a bomb?

All you Iran supporters seem to think it would be perfectly justified for them to have a bomb, and if you scroll up this particular post, you will see where i say in another of my own posts that my mind tells me we cannot stop Iran from making a bomb when so many others have done so already.

it's probably up to their government to take the same risk to the globe that any other government would take and has taken....why war here now with this particular enemy......because he is also OUR enemy politically....not enough.....congress should probably get a shot in on that table though.....due process is necessary....not hype related troop deployments.....what is that about....all the tonnage of military equipment and personnel being put all over the planet in harm's way.....that has to stop...or at least....congress has to have a say in that more than just to "Declare war" on paper...after the fact

maybe war itself should be made illegal......why not.....like equate that to murder on civilian level.......justified war or murder would fall into self defense.....only an act of aggression can be responded to in aggression....

you can't just shoot at people pulling out their wallets....

you have to have a reason for your weapons........you can't have bazookas in your trunk to patrol inner NYC....for example....lol...

war should be scarce and remembered for its ending.....not for our ability to end it preemptively

What you dont seem to understand is how i can criticize the Iranian government and still not want to bomb them. I have no idea why you politically correct types can criticize every little thing our governments here in the West do, but the minute we take issue with the hanging of innocents in an Eastern country, we're racist, intolerant, war-mongers and more.

That map has shown up in numerous threads on ATS as "evidence" that the US has strategic intent in Iran invasion (and Switzerland!)-- but it only does so if the interpretation of the map is taken out of historical context-- which is exactly what those using it count on happening.

Start paying attention. Where did I make those claims about that map? What exactly did I show besides a visual aid showing the military bases? If people want to make outrageous claims based on a map linking it with strategic intent than so be it. US showed some aluminum tubes and everyone took it as a claim that Iraq had nuclear weapons.

I thought you would respond like that. I am not American. I am Canadian. I have never claimed to be anything other than that. I would never live in the US just because of the government, I have no problem with most of the people...but if I did, I sure as hell would leave.
