I find it ironic that i'm not seeing a million posts with headlines like:

"Romney is DIE HARD ANTI-HOMOSEXUAL"

or

"NEWT GINGRICH IS A WOMANIZER"

nope... all I see is attempt after attempt to paint Ron Paul as some sort of racist. So now the big thing is someone booked him to appear on what is known as a racist radio show? Oh boy. Well.. that's proof if I've ever seen it. While we are posting ground breaking news.. I heard once that President Obama was friends with a racist reverend.... shhh don't tell. We're busy trying to smear a candidate that isn't being shoved down our throats.

Complete drivel.

Hypothetically let's say some douche-bag show that has "political" in their name tentatively schedules you for their show (which was probably done by some publicist that didn't know what they were about)

Then you find out about it you and cancel your appearance never even doing the show.

Of course, in this case that would probably have been the biggest interview a vile backwater station like this had ever set up so they lost face when he backed out - episode gets scrubbed because they look bad.

Or maybe he did the interview and verbally argued or disagreed with them or even walked out on air - episode gets scrubbed because they look bad.

Don't you think they'd want to post it on the front page if he agreed with them?
People like that love affirmation from people of authority. It makes no sense that they would scrub the show unless it made them look bad.

But this is the kind of crap that gets dragged out during elections.

Come back when you get some actual proof that he's racist. Until then he's denied everything and this is underhanded smearing at best.

Every connection to racist groups has been disavowed which is about the best he can do.
So obviously you think it should be handled differently - how exactly do you suggest he handle it?

He said no - isn't no good enough without proof?

Besides, most people who are ignorant enough to be racists are ignorant enough to be proud of it and have no problem admitting it.

Please redirect your attention to this thread.

Please note that since Ron Paul never did anything or said anything racist (or whatever else he never did that was racist) in his however many years in politics, this thread is automatically irrelevant.

For the record (not that I can prove it) but I am not a paid plant or even a volunteer plant. I have been reading ATS on and off for several years. Recently, I have come across some evidence that I think the members will appreciate and have been drafting my thesis. I finally created an account in order to present my evidence, but you need 20 posts in order to start a new thread.

Long story short, the original thread I intended to post is not ready yet (waiting on final confirmation of a specific piece of evidence) but in reaching the 20 comment threshold, found that have enjoyed posting on ATS even more than just reading.

I have come to appreciate the community by how rational thought seems to rise from the stinking piles of refuse. This is very rare on the internet.

I posted this article, because nobody else had yet, and it articulated the concerns I have recently felt about Dr. Paul. If it makes you sleep better at night thinking I am a paid shill, then I welcome you to indulge that fantasy. However, the truth is that I am the very kind of person (multiplied by millions) that could put Dr. Paul in the White House but issues like this are huge hurdles. Cast me and others with similar concerns to the side if you will, but be aware that by doing so, it might be casting aside the campaign.

I apologize if this came across as too personal, but I am not used to be called "The Man".

It stings a little.

LOL funny. Excellent work.

How much time have you spent documenting Rick Perry's gay scandal?

How much time have you spent documenting Newt Gingrich's horrific ethics in both his public and private life and his sudden conversion to Catholicism...and the fact that he was barely making ends meet while speaker and yet now he's rich enough to buy Saudi Arabia?

How much time have you spent documenting the crazy cult that Mitt Romeny belongs to and the sources of his inherited wealth and the ongoing secret battle of his crazy cult against Native Americans?

Bachman...LOL

the rest of the field, seriously LOL.

As for Obama..how much time have you spent compiling and documenting his college friends, people who knew him, have you sorted out Larry Sinclair and that poor dead choir director? How much time have you spent documenting his shady loans and Rham Emanuel's odd rise to mayordom?

So, somebody somewhere said Ron Paul, who you cannot find any dirt on, and who has actually led the life he claims to believe in....suddenly they drag out old tired newsletter story..he didn't write and could have been written by anyone and a non existent radio show,..I've seen countless politicians agree to go to this function or that function...or speak here or there...until someone alerts them that the event is sponsored by Scientology.

Dude, we're not stupid or manipulable any more....if, and I say IF Ron Paul ever uttered a racist word (and I've personally listened to all his speeches to try to find SOMETHING) I'd still take him over any of the above listed.

Obama gets a free pass on race but he can bail out the rich bankers? I'd rather hear him say he hates whitey. Certainly his father did...which was odd....since he nailed a white chick and knocked her up..or so goes the official story anyway. Personally I'd want to draw his blood and test it myself before I ever believe another lying word out of that man's mouth. SOPA, and now the draconian NO TRIAL things he is wanting? WHO will vote for this lying sack of coprolite?

So go ahead and keep trying to act the disillusioned apologist, but it's not working on me. Unlike many Americans I have grey matter in my cranial cavity and I know how to use it.

if the individual is concerned that it could lead to hitler part deux, that may have some bearing on it. if i think i am seeing warning signs of that i would be among the first to withdraw any vocal support for him, as i don't support the wiping of any group of people on this planet!

Well then you're SOL when it comes to voting for president..unless you don't count people in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, and a host of other countries in which all other presidential candidates wish to wipe out people....seriously...your comment needs more reflection.

I wish ATS had a button to remove flags and stars from stupid posts like this one. I do value the opinions of others, but I am always a bit curious when I see a member with just enough posts to start a thread, especially when they have a clear objective to slander someone.

Especially even there is NOTHING to back up your claims.

You dis-info agent you

OP registered Dec.6, 2011. I'll be watching your posts, LordOfArcadia. Political Cesspool show with Ron Paul never happened. There was no show on date in question in their archives. Can you say "cancellation?" Blogger (show host) may be one, big, fat liar anyway.

The angle of the author of your link gives himself away at the end of the article.

Ron Paul’s fellow travelers. I’m still trying to find evidence that Ron Paul’s interview on this disgusting show happened as scheduled, so stay tuned. (Donate via Paypal)

I completely agree - you should be able to lose flags and stars for ignorant posts - the quality of posts would go up overnight.

Vote up - vote down. Sounds like a great idea.

The story so far: apparently Ron Paul was scheduled to appear on the notorious radio show “The Political Cesspool,” a talk show in Kentucky connected to the white separatist Council of Conservative Citizens and the Holocaust denial group Institute for Historical Review.

The announcement of Ron Paul’s appearance was posted on the blog of Political Cesspool co-founder Austin Farley: Congressman Ron Paul TONIGHT On The Cesspool.

If true, this would be the most direct connection yet between Ron Paul and the kind of people who cheer for David Duke. But as Adam Holland and I both discove
(visit the link for the full news article)

This accusation from the OP is the same of which is read in the link and the same youll see in the mainstream media.....Nothing but spin.

Note that the quote states that Paul was "apparantley" scheduled to appear on a talk show. What verification do we have that this appearance was actually scheduled? Can anyone verify this? Oh wait, it says later that the talk show host posted it on his blog? Anyone could say that Ron Paul was going to visit their talk show, mind you, Paul is a grassroots candidate.

Secondly, the quote states that the talk show is "connected" to white supremacists. Very broad and vague connection there. Is it the organization that funds the talk show that is connected to skinheads or is it merely the talk show host that is into the eugenics? Also where is the evidence that these connections are true even true?

Lastly, how can we say that Ron Paul shares any of the same views as any talk show he's attending? He wants to reach audiences! You wouldn't think he was similar to the likes of Bill Oreilly if he visited his talk show would you?

You can Unflag threads here at ATS,just go back to the top of the page, and click unflag, where you would click flag.

I think everyone deserves their thread to be seen though, rather than unflagging, its better to explore and debate the subject,to get to the truth rather than burying the idea IMO.

Well, I hope the anti-Ron Paul Obamites have prepared a defense for his Marxist Liberation Theology pals and his long term attendance at the racist Rev Wrights church.

By the time Paul's GOP opponents are done with him the Obama campaign won't have to do much of anything in the miraculous event of a Paul nomination.

And I would guess Obama and company would be tickled pink to have Paul as the nominee. They would be able to run to the right of him on a number of issues.

Four words...."Operation Fast and Furious."

Now sit down and be quiet.

Two more words...."Black Panthers"

another word...."Obamacare"

and another...."Transparency"

another three words....."Hope and Change"

but the two words I like to use the most with Obama......."EPIC FAIL".

Out of principle I did not flag or star this thread in the 1st place.

But I sure would love to vote against it - minus 1 flag and minus 1 star for me.

It wouldn't stop threads from being seen - there's still the new topics section where everybody has an equal chance of having their voice heard.

Ron Paul appeared on CNN and they distort the truth and call compassionate people racists, so does that transfer over to ron paul?

How does something that almost happened in 2006 constitute as breaking news?

Doesn't this whole thread backfire since he didn't show up to it?

So if being in the company of a particular class of people makes you one of those particular class of people, someone should have told Jesus Christ about that as he went amonst all the sinners, money changers in the temple.

I haven't read this whole thread nor will I. I'm just curious, out of 4000 babies he delivered how many were black? Did he not give them the proper medical care? Did he want to abort them? Some people are so idiotic!

The Ron Paul Campaign and its Neo-Nazi Supporters

Are you stating here that Neo Nazis do not have a right to free speech, free opinions and the right to vote? What does it mean about Obama that the Black Panthers supported him....that post was a misfire sir, try again.
