People have known for decades that Ron Paul is a racist. I'm astonished that so many are now just finding out about it. It's like everyone knowing that Santa wears read and then you find a bunch of people that didn't know.

Yes. Ron Paul is a bigot. Yes. The sun shines. Next.

And I assume you'll offer exactly nothing substantial to validate that claim beyond the newsletters that are discredited with any actual research and that Paul has already accepted responsibility (multiple times) for his lack of oversight on?

I won't bother holding my breath, but please, enlighten us.

Paulites will fight for Paul, regardless of his racial proclivities.

Being 'scheduled to appear' does not amount to endorsement.

I'm scheduled to appear in the kitchen in fifteen, does that make me a chef?

I'd say there are real ISSUES that Paul can be challenged on.

Like his age. Haha.

jim, jim, jim - WHAT racial proclivities? The man's like a walking anti-racism billboard. Hard to be racist when you see people as individuals, all with the same rights, and are the only person getting pissy about policies that no one else cares about and which also happen to unfairly target minorities...

That said, I'll agree with the age issue - but then I'll have to defer to the examples of De Gaulle and Churchill, and a whole host of various other politicians and businessmen who have been successful at their jobs at even older (significantly, sometimes) ages.

,
I'm not saying he is overtly racist, I don't know him.

If I sponsored a newsletter with my name on it, I would make certain that it said exactly what I wanted it to say.

Maybe he didn't know, but as POTUS, that would be his Job. Not a great resume builder, that.

That being said, I think anyone who runs against Obama will have that angle to deal with, and he fares better than some of the others. (Gingrich would be fried.)

Let me just say that Ron Paul is not the messiah, in fact, he will probably be even less effective than Obama, since no one in either party will touch any of his proposals with a ten foot pole.

So that leaves us with a question.

Is it better to snipe from the ivory tower or get your hands dirty and make some stuff happen?

Paul has been in Congress, the legislative branch mind you, for decades.

What makes you think he'll be more effective in the Executive?

maybe that's the big thing the current group in dc are worried about, afterall, the people of the usa, elected tea party members and if they get a leader like rp, things could get interesting real quick like.

Here's an example of the kind of baggage the Paul campaign will have to deal with if he were to start doing well in the primaries:

The Ron Paul Campaign and its Neo-Nazi Supporters

you know how the black panther org started and other such pro black groups? because they were tired of being treated like crap. you know why pro white groups form? same reason. they are essentially two sides of the same issue: using racism to control people, sucks big fat tomatoes

I would love it if someone that knows programming would write up a website with a form like this:

website: xxxx
Member: xxxx
Rating:
Posts too stupid to be ignorance xxx
Posts too infuriating to be ignorant lies xxx
etc.
(include links, no copies of the text BEFORE it's taken down, to the posts every time someone reports it with a short description of what elements are obviously bogus and why)

and link it with a program that would give you auto user statistics to people that post on blogs.
Of course, in this blog you really don't need that that I can tell very much,
and it would take time for blogs to adopt such software results to help them weed through the trolls,
but something like that might help.

I hear there's a website with a rating system for ideas that are x% false and x% true and a discription for it.
Oh boy, who knows where I wrote down the name of that website. I think it was , oh I don't remember the website.

But something like this could be a good tool for beginners or people on other blogs that don't get the same kinds of user critiques we get here. It could be your contribution to society if you did program such a thing

Regarding the title to this inflammatory thread. If I read it correctly....*was* is the operative word here.

WAS scheduled...he didn't appear. Anyone wonder why he didn't? Maybe because it didn't reflect his view points.

If you think that a vote for anyone is going to change your fate, maybe you need to rethink your political ideology.

A democracy is government BY the people, we don't have that.

Review the 2000 election and see how Popular votes mean nothing.

Paul will do what the unelected monied interests want him to do, like every other puppet.

LOLOL...wow! These attempts are becoming more and more feeble! It's unfortunate there are sooooo many feeble-minded people out there!

Ron Paul will never ever ever be the US President. The Electoral College picks the US PResident, not the people.

The Electoral College is made up of America's Royal Families. They will pick who will help them make money.

You've got a better chance of seeing a UFO land in your yard tomorrow and watch 2 little green men steal your newspaper and fly away in their UFO....than Ron Paul ever being US President.

You've got a better chance of the Jewish religion saying ANYBODY can join their religion tomorrow....than Ron Paul becoming US PResident.

There's a better chance of American Indians revolting and starting a new War to kick the white man off their land tomorrow.....than Ron Paul ever becoming the US PResident.

Even if 99% of America voted for Ron Paul to be US PResident, he would NEVER be PResident because the Electoral College picks the US PResident.

Silly trolls.

He was "scheduled to appear" on this far right radio show???
So did he appear on it or not?
If as I suspect he did not-Then how does anyone know what he would have said?-for all you know he wanted to say he was against their beliefs.

IMHO This vid should be posted on all anti Ron Paul threads which are part of the political smear campaign against him:

Does that sound like a racist to you?
Or someone who wishes to change the racist bias that exists in the USA at the highest levels?

Ron Paul has become the victim of a classic disinfo campaign IMO,most likely by those who fear his public support.
Do not fall for it.
It is BS.

ATS is being used as a political tool by paid up disinfo agents who hate what Ron Paul stands for IMO.
DO not believe this garbage-look at his record.

Ron Paul "was scheduled to appear on a white supremacist radio show in 2006."

The fact is....he did not appear on that radio show....and the fact that Ron Paul did not appear on that radio show... speaks volumes to me.

I believe that Ron Paul is not racist. I also believe that the (political mud slinging) has begun...and people if you think this is bad....you ain't seen nothing yet!

Fasten your seat belts....in the days ahead...it is going to be a political bumpy ride....there will be a lot more (mud slinging) toward Ron Paul...because he is so popular with (we the people).

LMAO

STRAWS ANYONE??? Every candidate is to be held accountable for any new agency that interviews them...oh boy we are really screwed then....LMAO nice try u 2

Knowing of the Political Cesspool, I would not call the show a "news agency" but more akin to being asked to speak at a KKK meeting.

Perhaps something constructive could be accomplished by an intelligent person addressing a fellowship with such an oppressive history as the KKK. Spin that.

First you need something to spin with...he didn't appear on the show.

To answer the OP's question it looks like the Ron Paul campaign canceled their appearance on the show at the last minute (adamholland.blogspot.com...). He should've done it a long time ago but hey at least he did it right? I think that should put this to rest... no, Ron Paul isn't racist. Sillies...
