Ron Paul Was Scheduled to Appear on a White Supremacist Radio Show in 2006

littlegreenfootballs.com

The story so far: apparently Ron Paul was scheduled to appear on the notorious radio show “The Political Cesspool,” a talk show in Kentucky connected to the white separatist Council of Conservative Citizens and the Holocaust denial group Institute for Historical Review.

The announcement of Ron Paul’s appearance was posted on the blog of Political Cesspool co-founder Austin Farley: Congressman Ron Paul TONIGHT On The Cesspool.

If true, this would be the most direct connection yet between Ron Paul and the kind of people who cheer for David Duke. But as Adam Holland and I both discove

This is the same Charles Johnson from LittlegreenFootballs, right?

The title doesn't suggest he appeared on this show. It states that he was "scheduled" to appear; i.e. weasel words. Did he appear on it or not? If not, why not? Is it because an agent of his scheduled him on invitation only to later cancel after investigating the aims of the organization?

Also, what exactly is "Little Green Footballs"? Is this a credible source of information?

The show aired, but Ron Paul was not a guest. If you look at the dates you will see that it starts on the 3rd of august, and is aired every 7 days with no mention of Ron Paul, and no missing special guest.

This story is coming up as hoax bin worthy

Maybe. Charles Johnson (same guy that discovered Dan Rather's documents on Bush's National Guard service were fake) implies that he very well might be able to find a recording of the broadcast.

Again. I want to be very clear, as for this specific situation, I do not know the facts, but regardless my two primary concerns remain.

See my above post. The man used to attack the Left, now attacks the right.

He also uses some speech, that can definitely be considered, racist.

I have to admit its odd that you guys that are Ron bashing joined this site so recently, I hear stories about internet lobbying and this really does feel like that....sorry if you all are just trying to put meat on your table for your family, i know the economy is poor. I just can't see how you can see this as proof of anything....innocent until proven guilty, and there is nothing directly from Ron Paul that would actually confirm racism...its like you are using these things that did not happen in an effort to make it seem like Ron actually said something....guilt through association i suppose is you angle...but I could say I have Obama listed on my show for next thurday...and then post it on a blog...then you could theoretically associate him with my stupidity....

I am interviewing Obama tomorrow....I am an ATSer...

OBAMA IS AN ATSer...OBAMA THE CONSPIRACY THEORIST....and I am a hater of penguins...grrrrr those penguins...

READ ALL ABOUT IT...OBAMA HATES PENGUINS...

Google Ron Paul on Alex Jones show....really surprised MSM hasn't jumped all over this....RP has been on Alex's show on and off for many years....they can spin so many things off of Alex's shows...it could be brutal for RP. Now that RP is becoming a force that the MSM can't refute, they'll use anything they can to discredit him.

He was scheduled to appear?
or......
He did appear?

Big difference.

Maybe it was scheduled and he found out what it was and cancelled. Your really not saying anything inportant unless you can prove he was actually on the show and said something bad.......

I am used to people trying to smear politicians but these "stories" of Ron Paul doing terrible things are getting really quite funny. If this is all people can come up with on a candidate then he has my vote.

He didn't before but thanks to all you mud slinger's trying to come up with skeletons and coming up pitifully short everytime.

For the record (not that I can prove it) but I am not a paid plant or even a volunteer plant. I have been reading ATS on and off for several years. Recently, I have come across some evidence that I think the members will appreciate and have been drafting my thesis. I finally created an account in order to present my evidence, but you need 20 posts in order to start a new thread.

Long story short, the original thread I intended to post is not ready yet (waiting on final confirmation of a specific piece of evidence) but in reaching the 20 comment threshold, found that have enjoyed posting on ATS even more than just reading.

I have come to appreciate the community by how rational thought seems to rise from the stinking piles of refuse. This is very rare on the internet.

I posted this article, because nobody else had yet, and it articulated the concerns I have recently felt about Dr. Paul. If it makes you sleep better at night thinking I am a paid shill, then I welcome you to indulge that fantasy. However, the truth is that I am the very kind of person (multiplied by millions) that could put Dr. Paul in the White House but issues like this are huge hurdles. Cast me and others with similar concerns to the side if you will, but be aware that by doing so, it might be casting aside the campaign.

I apologize if this came across as too personal, but I am not used to be called "The Man".

It stings a little.

Heres some more on old Charles Johnson.....

Why the OP is using him as a source beats me.................

Among those people was Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs who accused Andrew Bretibart of “smearing” Weiner with “phony” accusations

Just to be absolutely clear about this: yes, Andrew Breitbart got this one right. But again, I will never apologize for doubting his credibility. He’s smeared too many innocent people, he does not deserve the benefit of the doubt, and getting it right this one time does not change those facts.

At the end of Weiner’s press conference, under questioning, Weiner stated that he apologized to Andrew Breitbart. How interesting that Charles is incapable of doing the same.

Charles Johnson: I Won’t Apologize to Breitbart

This man was wrong, and still couldn't apologize for the obvious smear campaign on Breitbart.

To OP,
Your source is highly SHADY.

Ron Paul has also appeared on Fox News which seems like its constantly calling for the bombing of nations of brown people. This must mean Ron paul wants to bomb nations of brown people.

If being interviewed by a news outlet means that you share the beliefs of that news outlet, that would make Ron Paul a Republican-Democratic-conservative-liberal-white supremacist-conspiracy theorist.

If this alone would dissuade you from voting for him, then I feel bad for you.

I was told it was a possibility that Ron Paul would attend a local Ron Paul holiday party after his Jay Leno taping here in Los Angeles.

He didn't make it because his granddaughter was getting married.

Does he represent the views of the people in the party that he missed? What if one was a white supremacist and one was black panther?

What if another was for sweet and sour and another was for salty and spicy?

Come on people...come on...

Oh, by the way.

Charles Johnson is known for accusing Obama's critics for being racist.

Ron Paul is a rather 'critical'-critic of Obama, therefore he is _ _ _ _ _ _.

Every republican candidate has interviews on Fox News. If so, all their legitimacy should be nullified.

...under your logic.

Assuming that he did go on the show... so what? Did they talk about race? If not, then wtf is your point?

I swear, are people so freaking stupid they cannot discern what actual racism is, or between lies and fabrication to actual fact?
