good, i think - the people of his country believed him to be a demi-god - very sensitive little man to have a nuclear arsenal - hopefully, his son does not follow in his foot steps but you can bet his autocratic regime is working overtime to extend the father's rule for yet a third generation - "president for life"? what a title he gave himself - doesn't work that way in the end, eh?

i wonder just how large north korea's army is?

i do believe north korea has a right to nuclear weapons - it seems to keep the united states at bay - maybe iran needs a nuclear arsenal - and don't tell me they do either because that's just another fricking lie from our government - same thing they said about iraq -

interesting times ahead!

I hear that Kim Jong-il died from mental and physical exhaustion trying to feed and clothe the population. lol

Maybe the physical tiredness was from beating morale into people !

Time to break out the cuddle gloves and hug the world......

darn - they spend 6 billion on their army each year -

The KPA's annual budget is US$6 billion. The US research organization ISIS reports that the DPRK may possess fissile material for some 2 to 9 nuclear weapons.[5] North Korea’s Songun “Military First” policy elevates the KPA to the primary position in the Government and society.
en.wikipedia.org...

wow, the 4th largest army in the world -

North Korea is the most militarized country in the world today,[6] having the fourth largest army in the world, at about 1,106,000 armed personnel, with about 20% of men ages 17–54 in the regular armed forces.[7] Military service of up to 10 years is mandatory for most males. It also has a reserve force comprising 7,700,000 personnel.[8] It operates an enormous network of military facilities scattered around the country, a large weapons production basis, a dense air defense system,[9] the third largest chemical weapons stockpile in the world,[10] and includes the world's largest Special Forces contingent (numbering 180,000 men).[11] While the aging equipment,[12] deriving from the economic plight of the country, is seen as major defect of the North Korean military capability, it is nevertheless regarded as a significant threat due to its size and proximity to major civilian areas.

tho let's hope he's not like his father
tho you never hear about him ! isolated from the public ! much like the Royals of Ancient china did

Ive seen videos of people hysterically weeping over this Dictator Kim Jong Il like Jesus Christ !

ohh yeah that's right i forgot about what Christopher Hitchens has said !
about North Korea being just like the Orwellian Book 1984

Hitchens Claimed that North Korea is the Most Isolated Religious Country in the World !
by Treating their Leader like a God ! One short of a Trinity ! The Father the Son !

And NOW the Successor ! AKA Holy Ghost

Trinity is now Complete as it seams ! ?

Christopher Hitchens: North Korea = George Orwell's 1984

The Funny thing is that Christopher Hitchens Has ALSO DIED! 12/15/11: 3 days before Kim Jong Il

Now that is weird !! WTF!!

The Young King/god/Successor on the Throne ! Scary ! I Hope he doesn't have the game Home front !
Seeing his father Former Great Leader is a Self claimed Internet Expert ! according to Wikipedia

Nope. That's because they saw him as a God. They are now ``lost``. They have no ``leader``... Kim was their light, their everything.

And most North Koreans laugh at Kim Jong Un.

Second line.

That is actually funny, because given the current state of economics ... the US will probably be trading their Nuclear program for food stamps soon.

Celebrating the death of ANY human being is wrong. Please do not say things like that... it is simply disgusting and uncalled for. It doesn't matter what anyone does while they are alive good, or bad... when they die, they should still be respected as a human being.

Half of the problems we have in the world today are brought about by "celebration" of death. If you think somebody did bad things while they were alive, and then you celebrate their death... it makes you no better than 'said' person.

In my books, stating "fantastic" for someone having died... is equivelant to inciting murder on all of the human race. Maybe we should all just die, because we have no respect for any other form of life it seems.

I am however not quoting you personally, there any many others in this thread posting their celebration comments and un-needed punchlines... it truely is wrong. Where have we gotten since the middle-ages? NOWHERE.
