Yah, maybe not so much anymore. Family Dynasties are prevalent throughout history though. Kings and queens of Europe for instance. Who is the other hand over you mentioned?

I don't think it did come down to him, he had his own way of doing things, but I think that he was more of a international figure head. We will never really know do to the fact that NK is extremely secret.

You are so off base with your comments that I am not even going to waste my time trying to educate you. Just about everything you said is incorrect. Who's exploiting who? If you really have no clue about something you shouldn't talk about it.

You won't waste your time arguing because you know you have no real solid facts on your side. The mainstream media which you believe as gospel in terms of North Korean propaganda is all that you know about the subject and it is you who is incorrect.

I can support my case with eloquent diatribes, statistical comparative analysis of demographics data, logical reasoning, and posts with actual content.

You tell me, are North Koreans exploiting the globe economically and politically, or are the five permanent UN Security Council members exploiting them?

I have more than a clue, I have a vast repertoire of information to combat your indoctrinated beliefs. If you are allowed to spread misinformation and disinformation here, than I am allowed to call it out for what it really is and provide the reasoning to support it.

I am more than willing to debate the real issues in a legitimate and straight-forward manner, are you?

Yeah, you Brits and your Royals. Here in US, the closest thing to a hand me down dynasty was the Bushes.
Edit: And maybe JFK / RFK

But didn't he actually serve in that country while you get your "facts" from looking online?

I do respect you, your views and some of your threads here have been interesting but I just don't see how you can take an "I know more than you" stance on this subject. It's almost like the UFO believer who argues with Jim Oberg about a piece of debris from a shuttle and claims it's definitely alien and just won't listen to reality.

Its like in Iraq, I did 4 tours there and in the end after all the countless iraq's had died, and after the 3800 americans had died alot of my friends. After all the bombings, fire fights, full scale engaments. it came down to simply Paying off certain warlords with lots of good old american dollars. Once we BOUGHT an area it would quiet down.

So if were paying N.K. in food its not a bad thing. I for one had wished they had done this in iraq. Then I would have all my friends still, instead of them sucking worms. They say war is hell, but they never told ya what its like to live through the event, when all your buddies died..

I say pay them off, give them free food...
Or will have another generation of kids lost..

This may not actually be true after all - that "this this is only the second ever hand over of hereditary power" .

Please research the Silla dynasty in depth.

It is very possible that Kim's family is descendant through these links.

What I have jack is experience and if you have been paying attention you would know I have been there. Nothing beats real world experience with having actually looked across the border into their country. Your vast repertoire of information is nothing compared to this. I have stared into the faces and talk to the people from that country. Those who have escaped tyranny are much better source of information than some jerk who sees conspiracies in everything. I do not know where you get your information from and I don't really care because it's wrong. The only one spreading misinformation and indoctrinated beliefs on the site right now is you.

Go out and actually find somebody from that country have a conversation and voice your views to them. After that listen to what they have to say and you just may learn something. I say you just may because I think you're you been brainwashed by someone or some organization.

So someone who is brainwashed by multinational propaganda and defects from North Korea is a trustworthy source of information about their country, but on the same token, I am not considered a trustworthy source of information about my country? How come some Americans are considered bias and agenda driven but all North Korean defectors are considered immaculate sources of untarnished information?

I am suppose to just "take your word for it" because you were a foreign occupier of Korea and meddled in their internal politics and pointed a gun at them? That is the exact definition of bias because you were willing to shoot them, of course I will not take your fallacious "argument from authority" seriously, especially considering you have no way to source your supposed "experiences" and prove them as true. I am merely suppose to "trust you"?

The fact is that you cannot trust anyone no matter where they are from, especially in ATS forum conversations, and instead you must look at the data and the evidence with a critical eye and determine how well the facts are represented or how badly they are skewed or taken out of context.

I am arguing against the outright lies that 'millions of people are executed' and that 'they are all starving to death', which is easily disproved by a simple glance at the facts. Hell, a portion of my demographic data is derived directly from the CIA World Factbook, who is clearly a better source of information than some 'guy on the internet claiming authority because he was there pointing a gun at them', although I take their information with a grain of salt it is still superior in terms of referencing and sources.

Your last resort is to claim that I must be brainwashed by 'some organization', but this is entirely absurd and you are actually caught completely off guard by my direct verbal assault. I am actually one of the few people with no organizational ties of any sort what-so-ever. However you just admitted your organizational ties were with the US Military whose agenda is to de-humanize their opponents to justify waging war with them.

Hillary Clinton said herself, that the "information war" is the most important front and that they need to focus on psychological operations more intensely. Why should I trust anything coming from anyone related to that in anyway what-so-ever? Sure I don't trust you or the CIA, but at least the CIA references their claims in their documentation which is available to everyone.

Do you really believe that Kim Jong-il has a vast propaganda network in Pennsylvania USA? Is that what is going on? Or is it just bewildering that finally one of us Americans is thinking critically and examining the situation closely for once and sees through all of the lies that we are being force fed through the mainstream media?
