Rubbish!

It's just SkyNews as usual, hyping up a non story on a slow news day where the biggest story is the rise in unemployment figures (Yawn!).

The Russian ships were in "International waters"......which means that there was no breach of UK sea space.

End of story really........hardly WW3!

edit on 14-12-2011 by Logical one because: (no reason given)

Essentially this, they are in international waters and they decided to come a bit close to basically flip the UK the bird. Just showing off.

Now once they get to Syria, then things may get interesting if the UN / USA starts to pull a Libya scenario. People should be more worried about the European Union economy really tanking, because that is going to send the global economy in a nosedive.

Russia should put back up the Soviet flag and just be done with their clever little game.

I wonder what's going on, this has also happened in Norway 1 or 2 times.

I think that it's kind of respectless and rude.

I'll say it again, the white brothers have banded together to topple China and take over Earth.

Russia sold fighter jets, frigates, and submarines to Vietnam to use against China. Russia's about done working on that aircraft carrier for India...to be used on China.

After China's defeated, won't be much left of Vietnam...India...South America.....

Operation Odyssey Dawn......the Odyssey is white man rule of Earth. They're so close they can taste it....and there's NOTHING anyone else on Earth can do to stop it.

Everyone still thinks the Russians don't get along with America or England. They bought the fake "Cold War".

It was Russian Warships that created the America of today. When Lincoln had to ask for help in the US Civil War and Russia sent it's entire Pacific and Atlantic Naval fleets into Union ports.

They didn't keep their troops on those ships in the horrid New England winters....Russia had boots on the ground during America's Civil War. And made the America we have today.

It's not a Russian carrier, it's a carrier from "The EU" getting ready to attack the UK.

This was nothing more than a Russian ship avoiding bad weather! There is nothing to worry about with Russia, they get along with China about as much as they get along with America and Europe and they know what to expect from America and Europe. Russia doesn't want a war with either, although it wouldn't mind a small war just to take its population's eyes away from rigged elections. If there is any war, it will be China vs the world, other conflicts will be minor skirmishes, Iran, Syria, North Korea, none of these places will be a catalyst to WW3. Taiwan and other such countires in that region could well be a catalyst, India/China conflict could well be a catalyst, but I think the cards are more stacked against China than people realise. Russia is not the threat that many here believe it is.

Lol that was an accident. Anyway, i stand by the content of my message, and think it's funny that my prospect is met with a "Do not swear" warning. It's kind of a, ya lets focus on THAT instead of what is actually important, no? Rules are rules though heh.

It looks like elements of the Russian Navy Carrier Task Force are about to enter the Mediterranean to join up with the Frigate Ladny?

I had a spin on the receiver and copied the following Morse Code weather and sea state report from two unidentified Russian Navy vessels

Morse Code weather report from callsign RK081 with coordinates.

Transmitted on 8345 Khz at 0030 GMT 22 December

RK081 BT 794 20 22 0400 794 BT SML

From the second and third group the lat and long is

36.9N 06.9W (North West of Rota/Cadiz, Spain)

I noted callsign RAL46 sending the following Morse Code on 12464 Khz at 1234 GMT on 21 December.

RAL46 BT 715 19 21 1614 715 BT FM RAL46

21121 99367 70096 41498 80207 10160 40310 53010 70211 884// 22233 20801 302// 41002 21014 BT AR

From the message above the second and third groups contain the lat long. That puts the ship off the southwest of Portugal.

36.7N 09.6W

It is reported in the media that the Black Sea Fleet Frigate Ladny is due to meet up with the Kuznetsov Task Group. The Ladny has just finished a visit to Toulon naval base, France.

Black Sea Fleet (BSF) frigate Ladny heading for the Mediterranean Sea has called at French Navy's main naval base Toulon before joining Russian Navy carrier group comprising

ships of Northern and Baltic fleets. ....

The Russian warship will replenish water and fuel supplies in Toulon and on Dec 17 lay a course for the rendezvous point of Russian Navy carrier group in the western part of the

Mediterranean.

The Ladny has already visited Malta earlier in the month.

Looks like the Russian aircraft carrier Kuznetsov and escorts have entered the Mediterranean?

Morse Code message on 12464 Khz at 1254 GMT - 22 December

From the second and third group of the message.

35.7N 04.0W

Vessel RAL46 is also sending the message for another callsign RAL65. It appears to be travelling in close proximity. Callsign RAL46 and RAL65 could be the
carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and escort Admiral Chabanenko?

The callsign RIT is HQ Northern Fleet Severomorsk.

Morse Code message on 12464 at 1214 GMT - 22 December. This places the vessel in the Mediterranean.

RMP DE RK081 QSA IMI QTC K

From the second and third groups of the message.

35.7N 04.1W

The callsign that the vessel (RK081) is sending the message to is RMP. This is the Baltic Fleet HQ at Kaliningrad so it narrows down the likely candidates.

qrg.globaltuners.com...

Very hard to tie down the callsign to a specific ship. It could be anyone of the Baltic Fleet vessels in the Task Group? RK081 is possibly the Tanker Lena entering the Mediterranean first to link up with the Black Sea Fleet Frigate Ladny?

Baltic Sea Fleet elements of the Task Force.

Tanker Lena
Frigate Yaroslav Mudry
Frigate Neustrashimy

Ok thread closed, but honestly please read my replies from the start and i wouldn't get repeats of the same comment. Although this thread has taught me a lesson, 37 flags yet no mention of the thread in the "highlights/thread digest" just because it was posted in WW3 forum.

when WW3 literally gets announced by the MSM, will you then start ranking WW3 threads????????

who is ATS in support of? or for that matter funded by? ATS isnt digg ya know! you cannot bury reality!

Info from a Russian forum. They think that the Task Force is anchored near the Algerian naval base of Mers el Kebir for the next couple of days. They are expecting them to eventually transit to Maltese waters for the New Year celebrations and port visits.
