The world desparately needs more of the same type of thinking that got us where we are today. At the very edge of the apocalypse.

Thankyou for making my point for me

Luke 18:16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Apparently Jesus keeps children close to his heart. Youre so blind you don't see the forest through the trees. Children have an innocence to them that allows them to see and compehend what adults have been taught, beaten and berated into believing do not exist. Children see more than adults ever will because they do not see through jaded eyes, but through the eyes of innocence, the eyes of unconditional love for God.

You can pick up the bible and read it and to you it seems like nonsense, you couldn't understand anything that you read. I can pick it up and understand everything because i have been given the eyes to see and ears to hear provided by the Holy Spirit. He allows his believers to see through the eyes of a child, through the eyes of innocence and unconditional love.

Your mind is closed to him, and so you shall never see until such a day comes as you can open your mind and that day may never come until you can lose your jaded mind.

Er.... actually, I think you missed my point. And my sarcasm. It's mans rejection of Gods guidance thats bought the world to the edge of destruction.

True wisdom comes from exploring & owning many different beliefs & opinions before discerning our own truth.
We will all believe many things that may later prove false, incorrect or flawed.
So what, we were mistaken, It was a truth for us at that time.
By your thinking that makes us weak, gullible, stupid?
An ever open mind is the ONLY way to ever find such truths.

I'll never be 'embarrassed' of my beliefs I hold whilst on my journey for those truths, nor should others.
I only hope that people who use ridicule to stifle others explorations would learn this particular lesson a bit faster.

Dear Jesus,

I see that you are planning on providing water to some people who will be hiding in a cave in the near future. Is there any possible way you could provide some nice, clean water to those in certain countries of Africa and other poor countries, who harbor people that don't know when or where their next meal may come from?

Yours truly,

Hydroman

Young children are unable to decipher between reality and their imagination, adults like yourself do not have this excuse.

Listening to mere opinions or beliefs is not a way to wisdom. That word gets thrown around these forums by anyone who has decided for themselves that they are wise.

Believing things for no good reason, believing things for which there is no evidence, having religious faith, makes you gullible. And yes by correlation, being gullible can mean you're weak and stupid.

Agreed, however coming from someone who it seems thinks he already holds the answers to the whole of existence, and would be unwilling to ever concede that the answers you think you have are wrong, it means very little.

You may not be, but in 2011, holding beliefs in things for which there is no evidence, you're an embarrassment to humanity imo.

The OP is pretty open minded. He must have seen the December 1 message and decided its completely false, otherwise he would not have removed all trace of Josephat from his blogs. So there you have it, Josephat is NOT a prophet.

The OP wrote on his blog: "Furthermore, we will discern them as carefully as we discern every other seer. The small age of Josephat doesn't make him immune for potential delusions, however unlikely they look at this stage. We will form our final opinion on that alleged apparition after reading the so called "BIG message of Jesus on Dec 1".

I completely agree with his opinion here. With guarded hope.

If holding beliefs in things for which there is no evidence makes one an embarassment to humanity, then you are guilty of being this embarassment.

Please hear me out before you reject this notion.

You believe that others believe in Christ or God without demanding that they provide evidence. You believe them on faith. You believe them because they say so, and no other reason.

Why aren't you demanding that they prove it?

Where is your demand for proof that those who say they worship God actually worship God before you enter into debate on the nature of God with them?

You are trying God when you should be trying his believers. More unbelievers slander the nature of God by impostering than by actually doing his will.

For example, when asked how to be perfect by a young lad who had kept the commandments all his life, Christ replied "Give all your money to the poor, and follow me.". The young man went away disappointed because he had many possessions.

See it is easy to say one believes in God or Christ. It is FAR harder to prove it.

Look for the evidence.

With Love,

Your Brother

I did share this gospel with some friends in Djibouti, Africa while on tour there in 2005.

Djibouti is a small nation just south of Somalia in the Gulf of Aden.

So, you can kinda say this is fulfilled my friend.

I think eight year old Josephat is probley a very sweet boy but im not buying his messages..He most likely is being influenced by many church members ..But on the other side of the coin maybe he is seeing the Virgin Mary children are innocent and pure at heart but he is no prophet just a kid spreading the word on what he believes to be the truth ..peace,sugarcookie1

So...are you telling us that your a true follower of Christ ..because you gave all your wealth away?

How much did you give away? or did you really have none to begin with...so its just an easy way to explain why you have nothing ?

I don't judge if you were poor and still are.. and I don't care if you actually did give tons of money away...but the fact that you bring it up in so many posts.. consistently....tells me you tell us this to gratify your spiritual ego.

A true follower of Christ ..or any truly spiritual person ..who actually had lots of wealth and gave it all away.. would NEVER brag about that fact on a consistent basis.

Just saying my friend..

ATS is overrun with cynical and mocking disbelievers. Time is so short to come to
belief. This is your soul...people.

For over 13 years of my reading, the prophets have stated, the New Covenant end time exodus, which isn't far off will be to places of refuge. Caves are mentioned, places of Mary's apparition, holy sites. We will be invisible to evil, who wants to chip us and if we refuse, off to the detention camps to kill us, behead you even.

Jesus was born in a cave actually. Are we too good?

Two messages about the caves, one recent and another from 2004. All in God's Will, not everyone will make it to the refuges, there will be martyrs, like the first Christians.

Thursday, May 13, 2004: (Fatima memorial)

Jesus said: "My people, in the days of tribulation I will
perform miracles of My protection for My faithful. In the early
years of Christianity many of My followers hid in the catacombs
for protection from those wanting to kill them. My faithful of
today will be drawn to refuges of My Blessed Mother's apparition
sites and places of holy ground. Even your guardian angels will
lead you to caves in the hills that are hidden with miraculous
light, healing springs of water, and enough air to breathe.
This vision of flowers all over the caves is another sign of My
miracles as you read of My miracle at Cana converting the water
into wine in today's Gospel. There will be martyrs for My
Name's sake, but those, that are not killed, will find means of
protection wherever I will lead them. These end times will be a
severe test of your faith, but your glorious reward on earth and
in heaven will be well worth the struggle. As you see the
Antichrist declare himself, know that his time is short before
I will come and vanquish him and then I will make everything new
with My Era of Peace. Rejoice, My people, for all evil will
come to an end and you will see My miraculous power demonstrated
for all to see."

Wednesday, October 19, 2011: (St. Issac Jogues, and companions)
Jesus said: “My people, when martial law and mandatory chips in the body come, I will have your guardian angels lead you to the nearest refuge for protection from the evil ones. These refuges will be at places of My Blessed Mother’s apparitions, places of holy ground, and caves This vision at Auriesville, N.Y. is at the place honored by the North American martyrs, and it is truly holy ground. Many shrines will be refuges as this one is, even if there are no obvious provisions being made to store food and shelters. It is My angels that will make the buildings for dormitories to sleep. The building in the vision that you are looking out of is one of the buildings that will be provided. Food and deer will be provided to eat, as well as daily Communion. There will be water from springs, and a luminous cross for healing will light your way. You will see My angel of protection there who will make My faithful invisible to the evil ones. Rejoice that I am providing these many refuges to protect you during the coming tribulation of the Antichrist. Have no fear, but you must leave your homes for My refuges when I call you to come. This will be a rustic living with people working for their survival.”

I am not bragging, but reminding everyone what was actually asked of them by Christ. Not because it satisfies my own ego, but because it is the only way to tear down the system which enslaves you. If you cannot see that the obsession with material possessions and wealth are what is tearing this world apart, then it is not yours to see I guess.

While I agree that wealth is not necessary..we do need some material possessions to survive...though not in excess.

Food ,shelter and clothing are material possessions...but it not necessary to have a mansion.. or a walk in closet full of clothes.

While the obsession for material things and wealth may have a lot to do with the way the world is today....there are other factors to consider as well. Mankind's perverseness..and constant need to feed the ego..in many ways also adds to the demoralization.

Christ had many messages.. and to only focus on one..yet deny the others is foolish.

Had the rich man who went to Christ and asked "how do I get to heaven" been guilty of other sins as well..perhaps Christ would have added a few other things he needed to change ? But because he told Christ that he followed all commandments, Christ only needed to make him aware of how he was not loving his neighbor, by hoarding riches..and not helping those in need.

If that were true, then Demons would have no problem appearing as Jesus either. In fact, I wonder if this isn't the case, after all, since there is very little evidence of a real Jesus anyway. I would like to hear the boy say what this apparition looked like.
I would bet he would say he looked like the popular pictures of a blond haired, light tanned European fellow.

jcord and autowrench,

Are you going to wait until you are lying on your deathbed to believe? God is the
source of all goodness and love. Change now, you can. Pray. Talk to God, this
is how you begin. He will send you the grace to believe if you ask.

Jesus, His mother and saints have appeared to people throughout 2000 years of Christian history. Are you calling them all demonic and witness to them
lies?

Your excuse, they are satan not Christ or Mary. Interesting, how you believe in Satan but not in the goodness of God. Satan is part of God's revelation so why don't you believe all of God's revelation? Prophecy and Jesus appearing are
a part of God's Word.

And very important, Satan doesn't bring about a good. Would He appear as you say with the fruit of bringing a million +, who knows the numbers to conversion? No.

pray, you can start,
