you know i think you are the first person in the bevvy of threads on this topic to even bring that up and i think it is a quite relevent point and alot more people then those invovled think that place is holy i wonder what the pope would say? let alone most of South America being catholic so i think its a pretty big if that russia would do any kind of nuclear strike on israel unless they launched first and even then they would probably bomb the crap out of them conventionally just to prove a point and knowing putin set up a palestinan state in whats left with russia gaurding the fledgling state but as that problay is never going to happen(the nuking not the Palestinian state part)

i thought it was against the geneva convention to use human shields. if they care so little about their citizens, what does that say about the government.

i don't think iran will target jerusalem, but by putting missiles there, the israeli's guaranteed it will be struck if there is war.

Or , maybe the eyewitness is the guy who is afraid to attack Iran , but heshe is a military eye witness .

With all the threads about the situation in the middle east in the past few days and really in every thread that has to do with war, I've seen a lot of talk about nuclear weapons and who might use them first. A lot of people think nukes are going to used for almost anything, "if they do that, nuke" if they do this, nuke. Nukes, nukes, nukes.

It's understandable these nations are moving hardware and equipment around, the possibility of war is very real.

Neither Israel, Iran, Russia, USA, India, Pakistan, UK, France, or N. Korea (the nuclear club) are going to nuke anybody. No nuclear exchange is going to ocurr without a very very good reason. No country wants to be the first to launch. Only the threath of total destruction would make a country launch nuclear weapons. Here are the current nuclear strategies:

No first use- China, India. As in they will not fire first.

Only defensive use- US, (includes NATO) UK, Israel, Russia. Nato keeps pre-emptive strike as an option

Have indicated No First use- Pakistan.

Also let's not forget MAD. (mutually assured destruction)

Also if an enemy does not have nuclear weapons, nukes don't even come into the equation for Nuclear Armed States.

So let's calm down and not say Nuke!! everytime a military event takes place. Those weapons mainly exist as a deterrent. Just my 2 cents.

Probably already are, being crazy doesn't mean stupid.

They acting in unison? Possible, however very unlikely. What would they do with a wasteland?

If defensive systems go down then they're all on the same boat. Let's remember ICBM's have never been used in war, only tested. No one knows for sure how the missiles are going to perform or the defensive systems.

Losing money and the mass destruction of whole nations are not in the same category, again Crazy doesn't equal estupid. Want to see a true weapon of mass destruction? The ak-47 has killed far more people than nukes.

Their money is already in a remote safe location.

check the net foreign assets of all these "loyalist" and anti west nations.

they have been investing transferring wealth for decades.

I did the actual thing I accused you of "check sources" when I was checking the source of your story I came across what I have later found out to be one of "David Booths" faals" own ramblings packaged somewhere else. Stating that he was in close "partnership" with WND and also they were going to work together as his "sources". I have found since usual rubbish, and just because some years ago WND linked to one of their stories.

I do not personally though having said that, particularly like or trust Farah, but that is personal, there is no ATS "view" as such on linking to him, and anyway he is not linked to Booth as I stated.

It seems all sides are posturing and the borders are tense all around Israel as normal, but it seems to be an "air of anticipation" which I have not seen in previous such spats before, all sides seem to think Waror confrontation is imminent, and if they believe so what really can be done from the west to stop it, and then by ties to Israel be drawn into a wider conflict?

, probably belonged to a Dassault 'Mirage'.
Some of them have never seen this kind of objects, let alone this close, which caused some panic (which means nervous citizens by reporters who love to exaggerate)

Well first, it may not matter to you, but I appreciate Elf's sincerity, and I graciously accept the apology. No problems here Elf, but it seemed a bit odd. And instead of a heated reply, I used the alert feature- something I am going to do more of in the future to avoid getting myself banned. It's not personal.
