If a world war 3 comes up who will be the United States allies and enemys?

Simple. These are just what come to mind. There are more for both sides though

Allies: The UK, Canada, Israel, South Korea, Japan

Enemies: China, Russia, North Korea, Iran

I think those would be the major players in it anyway.

EMP's would make almost all military technology useless instantly. After that it would depend on who has ground troops station where and in what numbers.

A- They are China's biggest trading partners. NO WAY China is going to war with the people who are making them rich and handing over technology for free. NO WAY.

Or, do you think Russia is going to become China's new Golden Goose? Or maybe Cuba and Venezuela?

Also, when China builds their new base is Pakistan, I promise you it will have at least as negative an effect as America building bases on Muslim soil. After all, Muslims are welcome in the USA, they are outlawed in China. The whole concept of a Muslim nation aligning themselves with China is proof positive to me that religion is a sham and even the most "devout" Muslim leader really only cares about their own self interest when the chips are down.

I wouldn't count on the UK being an ally, our nation had an huge empire that spanned the globe, then gradually lost it, because countries got sick of us sticking our noses in and taking there natural resources, and the US government seems to have been recreating that 'Empire' for themselves for many decades now. Please American people, learn from our mistakes. While many of us in the UK support our troops, and like our American cousins, we don't neccessarily support the wars they are fighting, and the likely hood of the US government duping us into another war is slim indeed, even with our current useless government, the special relationship isn't what it used to be. It won't be just a few coffins coming back on planes to a small leafy English village, it will be thousands, that's if there is Britain left to send them back to.

Who is the enemy?

Who fights? Who attacks, who defends himself? As long as these points are open, every discussion is worthless. Unless you want to know who your unquestioned allies are: Great Britain is already wagging it's tail, that's for sure..

Again: every alliance stands against a special enemy or its just a leader with unconditional followers, satisfying every wish. Define the parties, then we can talk about alliances for real.

The battle is being staged from both sides by the same Elite that decide everyting else.
In our perspective its a war between one and another.
But the enemy here is also the ally.

The 3rd WW will be about the religion.

Afghanistan for sure will not side with the United States, America has not done anything positive in that region.

Things certainly seem to be heading toward a major conflict and unfortunately if it does happen I don't expect it will end well for those of us in the West this time. I think the ruling elite have had enough of this latest century long social experiment of percieved freedom and liberty and have decided its time for a changing of the guard.

Whether they are going to go with ruling by Islam or Communism is yet to be seen so for the moment I'm going to have an each-way bet - Communislam it is - light on the commune, heavy on the slam

It looks to me like this has been in planning for a long time and everything is falling into place nicely. With the resources wealth in the middle east and the rapid rise of china to the point that it can now sustain its own economic growth without relying on US export revenue, the US is basically redundant at the moment. They have nothing to offer the world other than weapons and supposed protection but even this extortion racket is on the ropes because they privatised their military and guess who owns military inc? Yep, the global banksters.

The people at the top of the food chain created a perfect storm that allowed them to withdraw every last cent of US wealth in one fell swoop. Then they divided it up and went off to play where the new money is while the US is still in denial that its bankrupt.

Hmmm, I guess that would also make FIFA president Sepptic Bladder the new Nostradamus. Talk about foresight, first he decides to award two World Cup tournaments at the same time while the Western Countries still have some cash to streal before the war and then he overlooks all three favourites in the UK, US & Australia and awards the 2018 and 2022 world cups to Qatar and Russia.

As for friend or foe, most of it is fairly obvious. The only one I disagree on with previous posts is Germany who will not be a friend of the US should this realy go global. They have been stirring the pot in the background for a long time and the only doubt is to what extent they are to blame for the current global situation. Their recent decision to vote against the US at the UN for the first time was a calculated move.

The world versus the USA....

Germany on our side! no way! they're jinxed man we're screwed.

I doubt there will be any world war between now and 2020.

If there were though somehow I think we would find two major factions, one lead by the US and the other by Russia.

The US would lead NATO and ANZUS.

Russia would lead the CSTO or possibly the SCO with China. Keep in mind, China is a wildcard, it is fully integrated into trade with the West. I'm inclined to believe that China would maintain neutrality officially, but support Russia covertly.

Personally I don't think we will see any world war until the playing field is leveled. e.g. massive cuts in US defense spending, the collapse of NATO, and massive increases in Russian and Chinese defense spending. The first won't happen at least until 2013 and even then it would take years to draw down. The same for increases in Russian and Chinese defense spending, it will take years for them to build up the forces they need to challenge the US.

Realistically, I think we are more likely to see a very different kind of world war post 2020.

Scenario 1: A resurgent Imperialist Japan faces off with Russia after the collapse of China, while a bankrupt US and Europe try to stay out of the war.

Scenario 2: India and Russia face off with a post Communist, Imperialist China expanding into Central Asia, while a bankrupt US, Japan, and Europe try to stay out of the war.

Scenario 3: An Imperialist Franco-German Axis emerges in Europe after the collapse of the EU and NATO, threatening the UK and Russia.

Scenario 4: After the collapse of NATO and the global economy, a theo-fascist Unified North America emerges, it faces off with South America over energy supplies, while "liberating" Western Europe and Australia.

Even some combination of the above might also work, e.g Imperialist Franco-German Axis and Imperialist China form an alliance against a Fascist North America. What a dystopian craptastic world that would be.

The States will have many allys and one of them may be kindof scary im talking about my home of Canada we supposidly got rid of all our nukes in the early 50's but if any one whos not Canadian knows about the northern terytorys you would know how big and unpopulated most of them are and there are not many conspiracys surrounding us aside from our weapon-X project but really we could be hiding any thing up there whos to say we don't have a huge nuke stockpile up there and that frightens me oh and if somebody could like me a post or something about this that would be helpful cause i have always wondered whats hidden in the great white north
