Too bad no Canada

Does Canada even have a military?

I think England, Australia, (Canada), Germany, most western European nations would side with the U.S.
I don't think Russia and China would be allies to us or each other.
Who knows it's hard to say there are too many variables.

China and Russia were both supplying Iran with items to make nuclear missiles so something is going on we do not know about.

True, there are a lot of things going on that we don't know about. I just don't see them being true allies they may both oppose the U.S. but that doesn't mean they like each other. I see a lot of backstabbing going on if there is ever another world war.

You're still about half a world short of a world war lol.

Western Pac
U.S., Canada, England, France, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Greece, Israel, Portugal, Georgia, Spain, Madagascar, Thailand, Kenya, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, The Philippines, Mexico, and Colombia.

Eastern Pac
Russia, China, Pakistan, India, Serbia, Turkey, Syria, Iran, Vietnam, North Korea, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Albania, Ukraine, Armenia, Estonia, Angola, Cuba, Bolivia, Peru, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Grenada, Singapore, Malaysia, Guatemala, and Palestine.

I know I didn't get every single country, but my point being, there is more to the world than just North America, Europe, and Eurasia.

As for speculation as to who would fall quickly, I'd say that "axis" powers would win South America as Colombia is pretty much the only American puppet country left in S.A. and I think the other countries would love to seize the opportunity to get rid of American interests at that time.

I think China's main attention would have to be on Japan and Taiwan, and vice versa. S. Korea would of course be dealing with N. Korea. Mongolia would most likely also be dealing primarily with China. Russia and the old Eastern Pac countries would of course be locked in combat with Western Europe, and Russia alone on it's western borders with U.S. and Canada.

Australia would be dealing with Malaysia and Singapore. The U.S. would be fighting Russia from both sides of the border as would Canada. I don't think Mexico would play in as a factor very much. Cuba's attack capabilities have really deteriorated since the 70's, but could be used as a staging point by the Axis powers with air and navel power as was the fear during the Cold War.

Africa? Meh. I can't really say as there is already so much infighting, genocides, and civil wars going on. I guess you could say they're already in an unofficial continental war.

India will be focused on Pakistan primarily under the current relations they have. I'm a little unsure about Pakistan though, I say there's a good chance they'd switch sides against us. In that event, they'd become India's ally.

Switzerland? Neutral lol

If it's a nuclear war, both sides lose. If massive EMP strikes occur, you may come to wonder if the Bible is correct when it mentions "3 ft of blood" during WW3 as it will be down to guns, knives, clubs, and fists. It would be whoever had the most men and training that would win. I would definitely not rule out the U.S.'s space weapons though, and this could be our ace in the hole in the event of an EMP type electrical black out IF they had automated systems or men in place in space and out of EMP strike capabilities.

Do I have too much free time on my hands? YES lol

Well it doesnt really take every country in the world to have a world war. The main super powers will declare war and thats it. Obama probably does not know how to declare war. He will say i declare battle instead of war.

There won't be a world war.
A proxy "war" with NATO vs the "Exiled Syrian Government Military forces" with the Russians and Chinese supplying the Syrians? Most likely. I've been hearing this stuff since the dawn of the Internet. Why would the Chinese or Russians go to (World) war? Why would the Americans?
What would the winning side have won? A conquered shell of a country, With no industry and severely hostile population. That's if it got that far. Obviously the losing country would use their Nuclear weapons if there was even a hint of their homeland being sacked. And nobody wants that. Yes, Our world is run by greedy, unethical, horrible people. But it's in their best interest for a world war of that magnitude to never happen, Not with Nuclear weapons in play. A "small" conflict that drags out? Sure, They are great for business, But not All out World war.
There will never be another world war.

Thats the most sensible thing ive heard in ages, fight it out between themselves, and stop slaughtering innocents.

Oh yea, I knoes. I'm one to believe that the Cold War never ended, it just went "underground. So we'd basically see a line up of countries like we did back then. By the way, in the event of a nuclear war, I'd go to South America lol

What stops Russia is that they are not such a rich country and what stops and helps china is they have such a big population. They would not be able to supply all their troops with the weapons they need and as cheap as China builds weapons they will probably have a lot of difficulties in war with weapons tearing up and so will other countries because most things are made in China these days.

Excuse me? Russia is not a rich country? Moscow has more billionaires than all of the U.S.
Russia is a very powerful country... just because the U.S. citizen thinks that they are weak does not make it so.
Moscow leads with most billionaires

There are many possible enemy countries which would have a hard time eliminating just one US aircraft carrier battle-group. Their entire navies would fall to the attendant submarines, their entire airforce would be shot down at a range further than their weapon systems could even detect a threat. The surgical strike capability of the battle-groups missle cruisers and the destroyers cruise-missle firing capability would decimate the infrastructure needed for any continuing resistance or combat response. Ongoing air superiority would eliminate any numerical advantage of combat forces numbers. If you cannot gather more than a company of soldiers together before getting bombed or straffed, your combat effectiveness will be nill. In a quasi-political war (Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Iraq, Afganistan, Libia) with hamstringing rules of engagement, stalemate and slow success is expected. But when the "gloves come off" the guy with the brass-knuckles underneath usually wins. The US Armed Forces in any type of unrestrained conventional warfare scenario, will win. Having strong allies who also can go it alone if necessary at your side makes the end result even more certain. Without using nukes, NATO's enemies wouldn't even stand a chance, with unrestrained nukes .......we all die.

and don't like American beer.( We will drink it in a pinch though)

Sounds like you don't know anything about beer. What does Canada have? Molson? Same corporation as Coors. Labatt? Owned by the same corporation as Bud. Canada's mass market beers are 100% crap just like America's mass market beers.

However, America also has a HUGE craft brew scene that not only makes pretty much any and every style of beer in the world, but also makes some of the best and highest ranked examples of those styles.

Canada's craft brew scene is dwarfed by the US's, in quality and quantity. I'm not ragging on Canada here, I love the people and the country, but when it comes to beer America has it beat bar none.

Anyway, as for the topic at hand, I'd imagine a world war, like the previous 2, is never going to happen. Huge scale battles erupting around the world between superpowers is a thing of the past. All the big military powers, and even less significant military powers are all nuclear now, for one thing. The economies of all the world's powers are also incredibly intertwined compared to what they were during WWI and WWII. A war such as those would destroy even the supposed victor.

The previous two world wars were marked by huge movements and battles between troops. We as a whole are kind of beyond that now, anyway. There is no use having 100,000 troops marching across the battlefield when it takes a few dozen drones to kill them all. Without the huge numbers of troops, millions upon millions of soldiers fighting, wars are a lot smaller. The current trend is to just bomb the enemy into oblivion, and then have a few soldiers hang around afterward to stop them from building themselves back up.

It would be suicide for all involved, and they all know it. Proxy wars, or even just small wars against weak nations (like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, etc) are most likely the only type of warfare we have to look forward to into the far future, unless some sort of huge game changer comes into play that changes the current paradigm of the world.

A previous poster, naming what they thought the sides would be, places Pakistan and India on the same side. I really don't see Pakistan and India ever coming together like that. But you never know I guess!

SO? You can have the most billionaires but what about millionaires? No comparison!! And guess what? Lets do a little simple math lesson. The number of millionaires the US has with their combined wealth is more than Russias billionaires so there!!!

Dimitru Duduman's dreams and visions have a fair amount to say on that score:

www.handofhelp.com...

Here's the more sobering one re China and Russia attacking:

www.handofhelp.com...

IIRC, he says that Russia takes Alaska, down through Minnesota & East Coast and gulf of Mex with Cuba etc., China West coast & through Mexico with Mexico on their side, NKorea, JAPAN, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Lybia, Syria, . . . and ONE EUROPEAN COUNTRY will attack us. I may have one or more of those out of my head instead of his info. I'm not sure about Venezuela or Syria.
