You're ignoring little factors like building illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian land - bull dozing Palestinian homes and olive groves....and internationally recognised borders that the zionist settlers choose to ignore.

I dunno - if some character came along and bull dozed my house - or simply moved in and kicked me and my family out - I have this inkling (I don't know why) that I wouldn't stand passively by and let them.

Ya Hi. Ever heard of New delhi, or Shanghai, or Sao Paolo?? Many more people live in those cities, on land smaller then the gaza strip. Compare these population densities:

Density per sq mi

Monaco = 42,143
Hong Kong S.A.R. = 18,176
Singapore = 18,645
Macau = 73,350
Mumbai = 20,694
Seoul = 17,473
Tokyo = 14,400
Ahmadebad = 27,307
Calcutta = 24,252


Gaza strip = 9,713 ??? Why again is this such a big deal? You would think they were the most populated, most crammed group of people....when the are many other places which have triple or quadruple the amount of people living on lesser land.

Look for something else to make a big deal of.

Actually, Hamas, in the gaza strip, HAS bulldozed Palestinian houses - the people theyre supposed to defend. The people who ironically, elected them.

And when Israel left Gush Katiff, they left Hamas a flower industry. What did Hamas do? They bulldozed that building, destroyed the industry, and brought in bands of terrorists, who now shoot at Ashdod, Ashkelon, and other Israeli cities that border on the Gaza strip.....

Sao Paulo is 577 sq. miles

New Delhi is 360 sq. miles

I will again recommend a view of the recently made drama which documents the whole history and gives a view from the Jewish, Palestinian and British (from the 1940's) perspective. It's a quality drama made for terrestial TV not the net and is well worth a view.

Christ was born and raised from the dead there, ancient buildings from the Bible are being found all the time.

It is part of the Bible timeline that Zion will be established in which the nations will be ruled from God who is set to return there, he is not making a worldwide appearance anywhere else so why should they move.

I never said that it is ideal. There is a conflict and this is why peace agreement is (or,sadly, probably was) discussed.
Israel is not an angel and does stuff which is not right. But you kind of one sided - it is not Israelis who ignored internationally recognized borders in 1948. And yet it is Israel that removed all settlements from Gaza - and there were Jews in Gaza prior to 1948 i remind you again - and got rockets on Ashdod and Ashkelon. It is Israel who gave control over Gaza to Palestinians and got a "regime" that does not recognize Israel and uses the area to fight it. And moderate Palestinians - Fatah - are willing to recognize Israel as long as it is not Jewish and forbid to sell the land to Jews in Palestine. Kind of one sided agreement,isn't it.
Buldosing houses does not help the issue - but neither is shooting at people driving to/from work. Their families do not want to stand passively too.
