This is something I have always agreed on. Working together to solve the phenomena is more important.

Hey, second time poster here. Reason I don't post much here is the fact that while observing this forum I've noticed there are too many debunkers on on this forum hence the reason why it's pretty much pointless to start any topic on this message board even if the evidence is credible. I'm actually starting to look elsewhere where posters can work together in finding the truth as opposed to debunking everything and saying that the source is ie weather balloon, swamp gas or chinese lanterns. Can any poster recommend a website that doesn't have too many shills?

Totally agree with you, have been reading threads here for over three years and the de-bunkers have really stepped up and have almost killed the site from thier very heavy handed tactics.

I know where you're coming from because I recently joined had the same concerns. However, after posting my first thread, I have been pleasantly surprised. Not only have I learned a lot, I made some amazing online acquaintances and got a lot off my chest.

Posting on here, for many, may be on a lark or with I'll-intent, but, for some, it is the only place to talk about some things. No one knows until they live a life. Of course, I'm not saying that the bad doesn't sometimes overshadow the good. It's hard for a lot of people to understand the "strange" because, well, it is strange. There are some great posts on the Gray area forum.

I always stay polite when it comes to believing a story of footage or not believing it at all. When I'm sure about what I think it's not real I mostly do not participate the debate .

I think that , well all people who have experienced something so unreal to their believes search for this outlet to find recognition among people with similar experiences. Not adequate feedback can work humiliating leaving the newcomers dripping off afraid and disillusioned behind.

if this is going to work I don't know ? If its a good thing to step in when the heat is on? I think so .

The days when I entered ATS It was most intriguing to see so many fellow people had experienced the same event as I did in that time period.

there were loads of sightings and prophecies that we almost lost gravity including myself. When most promising people spoke on coast to coast and the examiner. like new age prophets that I actually starting to believe the world was starting to change dramatically . I remember the story from goodchild that a spaceship was hanging here and we would all witness this , well we didnt I felt so stupid that from that day on I had to also listen not only the believers like myself and I still do , but also the skeptics of their sharp and some of them very good well grounded evidence to keep myself from loosing gravity to not float to space and never return..

Well metaphorically speaking ..

But I hope to see that time again because it also gave me the thrive to go on and search and investigate this fantastic aliens and UFo topic.

Hadn't logged on since the site first started. Forum has changed. Last night my wife and I who live in Salton city Ca. looked east over the Salton Sea. There's a little known military base east of Niland Ca. on which I worked in the early 90's . Used to be wooden structures draped with canvas and now steel, concrete, and electronics. I happened to read yesterday about a possible government tunneling device that had created a network of tunnels throughout the U.S.. One of which was in the Chocolate Mts. east of the Coachella valley, not anything out there I thought. Well the base is there and night maneuvers are common with the use of parachute flares. What we saw last night however were not parachute flares. Whatever they were, traveled horizontally and were well above1000 feet, when they would detonate,ignite ? The objects would emit a bright burst of light like an aerial explosion then leave a trail then another bright burst and so on for about 5-6 bursts per object. We saw a total of 6 objects over a 10 minute period and all were traveling in NNW direction and at different elevations when detonating. Possible controlled pulse detonation tests?

Have you all seen the new UFO footage from this month that is blowing up on youtube!? This is the best UFO video I have ever seen!!! You can actually hear the dogs barking at the UFO, you can also see it come down and scan a green laser over the tree lines! It's nuts! The guy who originally posted it says his site has been coming under attack since he posted it. Better check this one out fast before it gone folks!

I'm very new to this forum thing, and after doing my research for several years, and after having a few of my own sightings, AND after a good word was put in about ATS by John Lear, I thought I'd join.

I have to say, I thought the level of discussion would be a bit more involved. Some are quite thoughtful, but many find crafty ways to just say "no". Saying "no" as an opinion is great, but tell us why. Saying "no" with the intention of ceasing the discussion, does just that...stops the discussion. "Looks like a balloon" is not a discussion. Sending me a comparison photo, video, a tr3 description, ANYTHING...leads to learning about something...!

Also, it needs to be duly noted, that Thom Hartmann and others have done some "soft disclosure" around an entire industry centered around internet trolls....people literally paid $85 an hour to troll websites, chat-rooms, forums and blogs to bring and keep the energy down. You see it everywhere, and know that MUCH of it is deliberately put out there and paid for. If they do it in political forums, exopolitical forums will assuredly be attacked...and Ive seen it.

One actually started hounding me on Youtube once, and as soon as I acknowledged I knew he was being paid, he suddenly disappeared.

ATS, of all people, should be aware of this, and encourage the real folks who wish to earnestly share information to do so. Thanks.

My friend refused to attend a UFO meeting because a debunker would constantly ask the main speaker dumb questions just to waste everyone's time. They know they are wrong but they enjoy the limelight.

I'm ready to hear them. Not saying I would believe them, but you never know and I bet there are quite a few others that would as well. I'm pretty sure it would be interesting to say the least. And of course there will always be the die-hard skeptics here as well. Don't let them scare you off.
