What a clever way to usher in martial law...

Stage fake protests everywhere that just happen to get "out of hand."

Bingo!
Create a problem.
Then offer a "solution".

And OWS fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

I love it when members use their heads.

Peace

Police started gathering pushing people with batons, one person reported to have had their teeth knocked out.

Park completely surrounded.

Gestapo isn't even a generous word.

The protesters should stampede.
Stampede the place and just bulldoze everything out of the way.

Rumor Cop either cut or hit with bottle. One protestor being questioned. Looked like arrest at first, but now looks as if he is just being questioned.

Area still blocked off, no one in or out.

Here's a pretty good report about today-from the beginning.

New York Post. Funny writer.... IMO

Protesters cause mayhem near Wall Street, 100 arrested and four cops injured

www.nypost.com...

The "chats and rally calls" these folks have is hilarious. Sounds like a rival football meeting coming up.

NYPD will never recover from the civil lawsuits that will stem from all this.
In the age of viedo cams and internet access to private data, The city attorney's office must be sick with stress.
Buncha fools to even think about acting like thugs at such a widely video-recorded event.
This aint the old days where cops can thump ya and get away with it in public.

This is the one time I regret not going to law school.
I could secure my future with the legal action that will stem from OWS!

Up and comming lawyers unite~!
OWS chasers!.. the new 911.

Looks like things are calming down again and there are some exits now as the double zip ties have been cut. Stories just coming in about the man who had his head beaten, his clothes and shoes ripped off him as he was grabbed from behind by police and was finally charged by police?

Park opening again with many exits.

Not so sure anymore as DR Love pointed out this may be the real solidification to martial law and rules will be changed which will no longer be in favor of our constitutional rights.

It....is a horror ...to behold....

There can only be one or two for this carnage that occurred upon citizens whom had merely seek to voice out and be heard as legally a right under the sacred Constitution, for change and improvement to society, worthy of serious debate and discussion, but certainly not VIOLENCE by the thugs in police uniforms! I cannot find words to express such ...despicableness by the authorities...

And the ones whom are responsible are none other than those whom gave the orders, for citizen to impose violence upon another unarmed citizen - the police commissioner and the mayor.

In another time and era, these two would have been hanged or guillotined in the next round, as the next round will eventually come, but we are far more educated than before. These two's immediate resignation and freeing of all FREEDOM OPPRESSED OWS prisoners within 24hrs would suffice...or there will be hell to pay.

Everyone, I repeat everyone should give or receive a video camera or a dslr capable of video, this Christmas season.

Cameras...the new tool of freedom, anti-tyranny to record our world and the historical amazing changes we are going thru. Record everything... especially brutality, corruption and authoritarian arrogance but always film heroism and human compassion as well.

Streaming video is the wave of the future with everyone having a truth machine. We want to see your world!!!
To hell with the Main Stream Media and Fox with their propaganda agenda. Every citizen a reporter! Long live the www!!! This is the new Power.

It won't be the guns that are outlawed it will be cameras....... when fascism comes to America.

Agreed. But, it should be remembered the camera can work both ways.

It may just show they didn't obey a lawul order and were dealt with accordingly.

Something tells me there is the making of a video game with this whole mess.

You can lead either the Cops or the Protestors. Base the cities from around the world. Each side having it's own little gadgets and/or tools.... Hmmmm.

So be it....and let a citizens panel decide if the order was lawful or not and was dealt with in a humane and lawful way!

My bet is that the cops would be wailing on the citizens with their batons if their wasn't so many camcorders trained on them. When it is made illegal to film LEOs, is when we will know tyranny has arrived. It will no longer be "land of the free and home of the brave" but a new neo fascist/nazi state controlled for and buy the corporate oligarchy.

Power to the People!

I agree with most of what you say. And, from reading your post over the years I know you are one behind the camera & a great supporter of such things. (See, I do read)

Now, from my point of view. I wish the cops were REQUIRED to wear body cams and the alike. To the point that if they roll up on a crime and Joe Blow the Dirtbag blows off someones head in front of them.... automatic death sentence.

"Hello Judge... Office Jones, got one for you-uploading video to you now. Yep, that's mine......, Yes Sir, as we rolled up on them as the video shows. Yes Sir. Thank you." Bamb.....

So, in theory at least... both sides could benifit from more cameras on or around cops.

Between 3-5K people marching right now. Police could not even stop the crowds from marching. On 13th and Broadway, a HUGE force of Police.

Occupy Wall street is ramping up and the night is falling.

2nd month anniversary of OWS today.

When night comes things are going to get dangerous.

Roamanian has reportedly died from his head injuries now!

Edit to say that Romanian was the young man who we watched on live stream earlier who was profusely bleeding from his head. This was at the time when the park was closed down and surrounded by Police and no one was allowed in or out.

Unmarked police cars zipping down the street fast, and with all of the police 'escorting' the march it almost looks as if they are marching with!

Was he not up and walking around though? I may not have seen the same video but if it was the same person from what I could tell he was ok and up moving around. A little bloody but even minor head lacerations bleed like crazy.

What an utter farce. Because the narrative we got on this was so outrageous and farcical, even according to some in the mainstream, they have had to try and contain the damage.

I have deemed this a doomed pitiful revolt and what I say will come to pass.
