OP have you been baptized?

If not you will need to if you want to fall under the label of "Christian". Another Christian will probably tell you that's what you need to do if you want to be labeled Christian.

What? This is the most ignorant thread I have ever seen.

If you believe in God and Jesus, you are in fact a Christian.
Jesus is a Christian belief.

YOU ARE RELIGIOUS.

Are you trying to say your ashamed you feel this way? Well you probably should be. It's an outdated and flawed thought process. In order to quickly connect the dots you must have faith in imaginary figures.

The fact you are questioning your beliefs at all means you are smarter than that, and should most likely move on and think a little harder about life.

By saying he believes in a power greater than himself or herself is NOT religious... It's called being spiritual minded. Educate yourself a little more.

no, it's religious

God and Jesus belong to a book that is called the bible which belongs to the Christian religion,so you must believe in the bible and the religion itself to believe in God and Jesus.

The bible, Does not belong to just Christians, But as far as I know, Judaism too. According too a book written it is actually used in twelve religions! 8 In the old testament and 4 In the new testament.

Also be aware that we have our own beliefs and opinions and we dont 'Have' too choose a religion, For some of us we dont really want too have a religion but we want too worship in our own ways and be individuals. As well as that, What if no religions fit too your beliefs? what do you do then?

My answer to what you do is worship in your own ways.

That is spiritual. The guy 2 above this post is clearly a hardcore religious person whom probably only believes that you are going to hell if your not "religious" don't ever let anyone tell you that in order for you to believe in god or Jesus that you must be religious. That in itself is a sin.

Just start figuring out why you are here, what is your purpose, what is the truth, who will save me after I die, the Name of our only Heavenly Father Yahuwah, and His only Begotten Son Yahuwshuwah!

No, you are branded a Christian I'm afraid, if you believe in Jesus.

What evidence outside the Bible have we got that Jesus even existed?

Any "evidence" that he was "the earthly incarnation of god" is invalid since that is one of the most ludicrous and unscientific stipulations of our time, in fact you could say it's the elephant on mankind's damn near broken back.

Of course, I'm open to the idea that a Middle East man of that time, who was above average in this moral and spiritual development, may have said and done a few things that ultimately got him crucified along side common thieves.

But the fact is...well, just read the story! He died!

He can be no God! Gods cannot be killed.

There is not much evidence outside the biblical collection of documents...
...because all the writings about him were included in the biblical collection...doh!

And it's yet to have been logically explained how one man dying "saves" everyone else.

How does that work again?

Mainstream "Christianity" has become so corrupt by Satan that it's not even funny. Sadly, the majority of people think that this mainstream version is what God intended to be the true version, when in fact it is not.

Believing in God and Jesus, but not having a religion is a good start. In fact, in the book of Revelation God tells His true children to come out of churches and denominations because they have become a part of Babylon. In these last days the true child of God is not someone who is part of a big, tax-exempt church that is teaching false doctrines. The true child of God in these last days will meet quietly, in small groups, so as to ensure that the true teachings of God are not corrupted. Those who have the Spirit of Prophecy will leads these groups, teaching the others the truth so that they may in turn teach others.

People are correct when they say that churches have become corrupt. But, God is not corrupt. They need to stop blaming God for the fact that Satan has corrupted these churches.

Well im right there with you, as far as my research goes. Jesus was the sun in human form, many others say this as well, God or the source of all exist but no one can really understand its full power even all the ETS and EDS. It goes beyond all Densitys and Millions of universeses. Dont get the Pshysical universe confused with how many layers there are. We see only a very small range in visible light. Our world is a matrix where our souls learn a lesson. Though there are those who dont want your soul to return you need to know this when you die as we are all devine not just Jesus or the source. In soul form we have unlimited power and are back with the one that connects us all.

I would say 'I'm sorry, but'... but I am not. Yours is the most ignorant thread I have ever seen. Muslims believe in Jesus, yet they hardly 'love' their neighbours or enemies, as Christ said we should. The Pope alleges to head a Christian organization & base those beliefs on Christ, yet the behavior of that body says they are anything BUT Christian. Abuse of children & lying that people will burn in hell unless they pay priests to atone for their sins..that's extortion.. NOT a Bible teaching at all. It doesn't make you Christian to believe in Christ, it make you Christian when you listen to him & obey God's laws in everything you do. Christendom & Christian are not the same. The atheist who believes in Jesus & God is more Christian than those who say they believe but don't obey the laws given by God. They are hypocrites. At least this non religionist has the integrity not to join in with everyone else because maybe they see the badness of religion so don't want to commit to badness.... just a thought.

That one is easy ... Jesus had to die in order to defeat death...
...which He did with His resurrection and ascension.

That 'saves' everyone who believes...
...because by believing a person is included.

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." (John 11:25-26)

Could I just ask what evidence proves evolution is real? Even Darwin had to admit that the finches may have changes, but they were still finches... They did not change into a new species as his theories have led us to conclude. But we can't conclude anything from a theory. He was just a man, God tells it differently, & to be fair, who is the higher authority? It suits mans purpose that we believe we evolved because then we have no reason to believe in God, & without God we are open to be mislead & manipulated in many ways, incl.media. Jurassic park movie emphasized the idea & it made it more real & unquestionable. We should question though.. There is no evidence that has been presented that was conclusive, because it doesn't exist. Is anybody even trying to prove it anymore? No, because it is a foregone conclusion, but it isn't actually conclusive. This isn't a go, I already commented in your defense of your religious view, but I wouldn't like someone to loose out because of a flawed foundation. Love God, don't love God, but let it be on his own de-merit, if such a thing is possible. Peace, & I hope you find him.

I don't think you are a troll. I think that you experienced the the feelings that you described because they are the feelings you need to experience. That does not mean that a god was answering your call or any other supreme being, you are simply self delusional.

Self delusion is not always a bad thing, often it leads to personal insight and growth.

Ummm..........Thus...spake...the...NON-experiancer........The singular perspective opiner.......giving of their agnostic viewpoint......as if they had........Gnosis...serving it up as if it had...substance
You really should stick to........that which you...KNOW......not that which you surmise.......you labor too much under the delusion that...."The All"....is laid bare before you and you are some....authority....

You are neither author or authority......save your non-investigative opinion for others of..."like-mind", i.e., closed-minded.......for your mind is neither open...OR...authoritative......

The Bible actually was from the Jewish religion. All other religions have translations of that same text. There is only 1 Bible. The Muslims use that as well as the Koran, the Koran to them is the higher authority though in the event the books don't agree. The Jewish Torah was the original, which is the old testament. They don't believe in Jesus, so they don't include the new, & they are still waiting for the Messiah.... They have all but removed the name of God from those books though because it was blasphemous to use God's name & NOT obey his laws, (which they didn't), so the translations use 'Adonai', or 'The Lord'. Jesus Christ is Our Lord, but God is the Almighty, & he has a name. If your Bible says '& the Lord said to my Lord', it has also removed the name of God. Jesus didn't speak to himself. He was speaking to God. All Bibles are from the same source/texts. Christians only came into existence when the Jews rejected Jesus at his death. They were Jews until then, & became Christians by accepted Jesus as the promised one of God. The Jews lost God's favor for killing his son. Jesus came to save the Jews, but God's people follow Jesus...
