What? This is the most ignorant thread I have ever seen.
If you believe in God and Jesus, you are in fact a Christian.
Jesus is a Christian belief.
YOU ARE RELIGIOUS.
Are you trying to say your ashamed you feel this way? Well you probably should be. It's an outdated and flawed thought process. In order to quickly connect the dots you must have faith in imaginary figures.
The fact you are questioning your beliefs at all means you are smarter than that, and should most likely move on and think a little harder about life.edit on 13-11-2011 by CynefriElm because: (no reason given)
By saying he believes in a power greater than himself or herself is NOT religious... It's called being spiritual minded. Educate yourself a little more.

God and Jesus belong to a book that is called the bible which belongs to the Christian religion,so you must believe in the bible and the religion itself to believe in God and Jesus.

Also be aware that we have our own beliefs and opinions and we dont 'Have' too choose a religion, For some of us we dont really want too have a religion but we want too worship in our own ways and be individuals. As well as that, What if no religions fit too your beliefs? what do you do then?
My answer to what you do is worship in your own ways.

No, you are branded a Christian I'm afraid, if you believe in Jesus.
What evidence outside the Bible have we got that Jesus even existed?
Any "evidence" that he was "the earthly incarnation of god" is invalid since that is one of the most ludicrous and unscientific stipulations of our time, in fact you could say it's the elephant on mankind's damn near broken back.
Of course, I'm open to the idea that a Middle East man of that time, who was above average in this moral and spiritual development, may have said and done a few things that ultimately got him crucified along side common thieves.
But the fact is...well, just read the story! He died!
He can be no God! Gods cannot be killed.

And it's yet to have been logically explained how one man dying "saves" everyone else.
How does that work again?

Well I Prayed To Jesus And Had The Most Weirdest Experience Yet I Know Most Of you Will Say Im A Troll But Im Serious Thanks For All Your Reply's
I don't think you are a troll. I think that you experienced the the feelings that you described because they are the feelings you need to experience. That does not mean that a god was answering your call or any other supreme being, you are simply self delusional.
Self delusion is not always a bad thing, often it leads to personal insight and growth.
