Congratulations for starting to think outside the box. Many of Jesus' followers are mired in hangups from a religion which has largely rule by fear through the ages in order to maintain the agendas of a priviledged few. A Religion that has on the whole twisted and warped the meanings the message of love Jesus intended the world to hear

The trouble with religion is its static and doesn't really change much even though the world clearly does. Also religion to me is sort of a lazy-man's guide to spiritual awareness as you mostly sit back and let somone else tell you how it is. This is why I differentiate between religion and spirituality. Spirituality is fluid and can evolve based on knew understandings both within its frame of reference and without. Religions holds that there is only one truth. Within Spirituality it is generally accepted that we cannot ultimately know what this truth is, we merely gain understanding and wisdom that lead us closer to it.


But do yourself a favor. Study many different belief systems as well for they are all different facets upon the gem of truth. Jesus was a truly inspired man especially for the time period he existed in earthly form.

you are a deist, you believe in a deity.

when you pick a god from a religion then you are a christian, muslim, etc. so if you believe in jesus then you are by definition a christian.

Why believe in something so specific when there is no evidence to support it.
Why not just settle for thinking that something may have created the universe untill we learn more.
Religion only ruins the potential of spirituality, why let someone control your life and mind for something that is ment to be individual.

Then there is hope for you.

If you feel the need to label your self (based on the post not the thread title as they are opposing or at least not in total agreement ) then Agnostic would probably be the closest to your belief ideology I would think.

Perhaps that means you don't need one and are just fine as you are... or perhaps you would like to study different religions. Maybe you will find one... or more than one very interesting. I would think of the one you are most interested in right now and try to study it's roots... or perhaps you are looking for people to fellowship with to gauge the pulse of real people right now in your community and their beliefs. what would you say you are looking for?

IMO men have hijacked religion anyway and written books to suit their own agenda..

I too sometimes feel there must be something but can't decide what..
I certainly haven't found a religion that I believe though..

These are the last days and the churches belong to satan at this point. Christ told you to prepare for battle. What does this mean? It means know your enemy. You cannot be a Christian and not understand the occult. Do not go lightly into that realm. It is very dangerous, but with Christ you can do it. Once you understand the occult you will see how that it has wormed its way into the church. Learn the signs, symbols, history. It is in everything from music to movies to the government. Pyramid & eye is not a symbol of freedom.

God does not just jump up and act a fool at the slightest provocation. He waits for the fulness of evil to be complete. He does this to show his grace; His power; His longsuffering; His love. This is why the information and truth is out there for those who look for it. Satan is not all powerful. He still has to play by God's rules. Satan is a tool in God's hand to judge those who hate God.

I don't think you are a troll. I think that you experienced the the feelings that you described because they are the feelings you need to experience. That does not mean that a god was answering your call or any other supreme being, you are simply self delusional.

Self delusion is not always a bad thing, often it leads to personal insight and growth.

According to the bible, satan believes in both God and Jesus.
Believing in Jesus is simple, in fact their is more evidence for Jesus and his ministry than any other historical figure on earth. From the Old Testament to the new Testament.
Believing Jesus existed, and that God exists is easy.
Accepting God poured himself out in to a human, Jesus, to take upon himself the sin of mankind isnt so easy.
To believe and to accept, thats the difference.
I accept and believe what Jesus has done and who he is, and I am not religious or follow a religion.

Well It Was My First And I Felt All Light And As If I Couldnt Feel Anything And As If I Was About To Float Outside My Body I Know It Sounds Crazy But You Never Know And Thanks For Not Thinking I Was A Troll

The title of your thread says you believe in Jesus, that would make you a Christian. Do you believe in the God of the bible or other religious texts or just a in a creator?
