No you are not buddy. If you would call it like it is you would call them ordinairy people, fed up with the government corruption and the dishonest financial system, yet you insist on calling the whole movement left wing.

Ordinary people? Ordinary people work, or look for work. Ordinary people don't look for physical confrontation with police. Ordinary people don't break windows, loot and graffiti small businesses and banks. Ordinary people don't pee, poo, have sex, do drugs and a laundry list of other things IN PUBLIC. Ordinary people take hot baths or showers that aren't public showers normally used for hobos. Ordinary people don't go to an Ivy League college like Brown University and then turn around and go DOwntown and protest capitalism. Capitalism is the best economic way to run a country and have that country survive beyond 50 years.
Are there alot of ways to game the system in capitalism and get filthy rich while others remain broke? Yes,.... and things need to be worked out to close those loopholes. But the answer is not jumping to COMMUNISM or even socialism. WHich is exactly what the OWS movement wants, they just don't say the word. Look at the history of how communism took hold over capitalism in the Soviet Union. It started very similarly to the OWS movement. And look where Stalin and communism lead "Great Mother Russia". To ruin. It will happen in AMerica too.

I do condemn all the bad the government does. WHy don't you condemn all the bad OWS is doing. There are many ways to make change in government, holding up signs, violently protesting and trying to start a civil war aren't what I would call....among the best. And there are many ways to make changes to the economy, not working and demanding socialism/communism really aren't the best, most logical of ideas either.

There are LOTS of reasons to protest LOTS of things. Not even just government issues. But protesting the way OWS is, and really just protests in general are certainly not the best way to affect the kind of changes OWS claims to want. It has to be done on a political level.

In reality it´s about TPTB vs. The People.

I can't believe this is actually happening right now. I actually wrote about this here on ATS around a month ago and predicted that the Occupy movement could be used to accelerate a Bio-Warfarce type attack.

no. OWS is mostly a result of lazy people with major entitlement issues.

The wrongs "Occupy" are doing effect me and other REAL people far more directly and negatively than anything "TPTB" have directly done to me aside from maybe the flouride thing.

I will keep doing my thing. Which is not left vs right or capitalism vs communism. My "thing" is right vs wrong. Good vs bad. Simple as that.

See, for you and the OWS crowd, it's "The Powers That Be vs The People". But a real thinking person, not a reacter would realise that a good society needs "Powers That Be". What it needs to be is not "TPTB vs The People", it needs to be "The People changing TPTB".

Please read my thread linked in the above post and also in my signature. The black death making a revival is a very real possibility; as well as antibiotic resistant TB, flu pandemics and an anthrax outbreak.

Maybe you should stop mocking people and check out what science is actually being practiced in the world today.

As you will see from my thread the black death has actually been sequenced and has been tested in labs in the last three years. All we are waitng for is an outbreak and the whole of humanity is at risk.

I've no problem with the idea of plague still existing.. or that various agencies are out there monkeying about with it, and no doubt worse than that..

I was addressing the idea that some people seem to have that every disease under the sun is going to end up linked to ows. That kind of rhetoric was flying around pretty thick at the time.

And knowing what our government once did with small pox and some blankets... I don't put anything of that sort past them.

If there is TB it is not due to OWS. TB is prolific in America's homeless communities. The homeless have been attracted to these camps and thus carry the illness to others. However, it should be noted you can test postive for TB and never develop it. Most people who come in contact with the disease never get sick. Skin tests are the first test then one has to be x-rayed for verification. Considering the amount of time occupy has been in business I have serious doubts this was related to OWS as most people who carry TB do not show symptoms till after 1 year of infection.

It should be noted you can't test for TB until 12 weeks minimum. OWS hasn't been in business that long.

You guys seem to be missing the point. The Occupy protest is bigger than OWS now. That was the spark, good or bad, begun with an agenda or no, it doesn't matter. The movement is legit now and it is owned or guided by no one but the people on the streets. The New York branch is nothing, it's a goofy little movement. The real ones are in small towns where the real education is happening.

I stand firm with my original comment. 500,000 in donations isn't much and seems more in line with a bunch of small donations than a large one from Soros. He could have done much more. I'm not surprised that any of this is going on and DON'T agree with all the reasons they are protesting... They're disorganized and filthy and yes, they attract the homeless, but I say BOO HOOOhh to that! Americans, all of us, have a right to DO THIS! What happens when it's YOU that wants to protest??? The MSM is saying everything negative they can...every dead body, every shooting and petty crime, that's fine. They've even resorted to reporting crimes outside of the zone nearby. I DO NOT CARE to hear about the negative aspects of this protest. There will be unsanitary conditions and it's also getting cold out there. It's EVERY citizen of this United States to protest and as much as we may or may not want them to be there, it's their right.

I would say at a glance that the occupy *insert location* are representative of many people on the planet who live in poverty, unsanitary conditions and with little or no health care. Why is it that the leaders and the wealthy and those living in comfort always judge those that are dirty and diseased - instead of showing them kindness and practical help?

Can anyone answer my questions? I think the occupy *insert location* is just getting warmed up - more power to them - they are no dirtier or unhealthy than some of the attitudes I see reflected on this website.

I never mentioned Soros. You were questioning the $500k another poster mentioned and its authenticity so I linked to my thread with all of the pertinent information regarding the $500,000.00 and the problems that OWS is having managing it. Simple. Relax. Why are you so hung up on Soros?

If Soros was going to give money to the cause it sure as hell won't be via a personal check. He's got plenty of underling organizations that he uses to disperse funds. It's an old trick.

What does this have to do with TB in Atlanta? I was just sharing some facts about the problem in Atlanta which you seemed a little foggy on.

PS. I have not seen any Occupy sit ins in any small towns within 100 miles of where I live. Where are you seeing them? Occupy Scranton? occupyscranton.com... rock your world. It's been almost a month since someone posted on that site.
