The CIA would have shown up on her doorstep if she had posted a picture of a gun or talked about drugs. They monitor everything, right? If the CIA didn't seem to be connected to a satanic child molestation network, they might flag that stuff.

I don't blame her at all. Our system is a complete and utter failure and many in the human race make me feel like it's hell on earth being alive too! RIP.

Look at the pic of her with her Dad.
Look at his eyes....yuck!

Look at her eyes. So 'old soul' - so smiling - yet sad.

If there's any indication of the putrid state of the world we live in? This is it...

- Whole institutions protecting pedophiles and allowing leaders to resign instead of calling for their conviction when the facts come to light they're 'pimping out' little boys. (The government, Pen State, etc)...

- Little babies 'gone missing' from their cribs at night and parents who see 'no problem' in taking 'adult time' to get black-out drunk with three little children in her care. (Lisa Irwin).

- Residents world wide who go on 'sex vacations.' (Traveling to third world countries where having sex with babies is not only acceptable but who's little children are used to increase tourist trade).

- Whole nations who believe the rape of a virgin child will cure their STD.

And what's even sicker? I could go on and on listing even more horrific examples!

Ashley is only one child in a world gone mad! AND I HOPE SHE GETS HER JUSTICE.

But sadly I can't envision any justice at all afforded any child living in a world that sacrifices it's young like a mother sow who eats her own young.

peace

This is such a sad story.

Regarding the younger sisters: I wouldn't be surprised if she protected them by distracting the abuser and taking more abuse on their behalf.

That's what I used to do.

I'm not even going to try to read her posts, it would affect me too deeply.

Although i feel for this young lady, i must stress that (as a victim of sexual abuse myself), i had very little to NO support from anyone around me whilst this was ongoing in my life, even afterwards, my mother refused to believe me...instead siding with the abuser over me. But what i would like to stress is that even with NO support or LOTS of support it is a personal choice on how you deal with it. There are those out there who receive support but still commit suicide, there are those who get NO support and don't commit suicide.

And your point being that Ashley was weaker than some?

Sorry for your pain and even more sorry for Ashley. Glad that some people have the dogged determination to roll with the abuse but I have to say the weakest, most vulnerable and most fragile are MOST in need of outside intervention and help. Someone to notice. Someone to care. Someone to act.

And to the OP. There was a teacher who knew of the abuse and went to the Police.
How is this teacher different than Joe Paterno who reported the crime to officials and then let it rest?
He felt he had done enough. I applaud that teacher for taking the initiative but am critical as well because they stopped there.

That was a boy (and perhaps many) and this is a girl (also perhaps her sisters).

Someone should go down for this.

No my point is NOT that Ashley was weaker than some, my point is that support, whether recieved or not, only has a limited effect. You can be supported to the hilt by everyone, people can be punished etc but its the battle with the self thats the defining point. Support isnt the only ingredient required in this kind of scenario, yes it can help and does help but not for everyone though.

One of the comments in the article said "Internet friends are not friends".

How true that is.

im sorry, but CPS is the biggest piece of #, of an excuse to say they protect the children. I've witnessed drug addict mothers get complete custody of kids that were abusive towards their children, while the childrens fathers bust their asses off to support their child and are more than loving towards their kids. CPS = IS ONE BIG JOKE. they don't give a damn about what happens to the kids or who takes care of them..CPS should be shutdown. They shouldn't have any authority over a childs fate. I'm sorry. BUT I HATE CPS.

YEP. Anyone, anywhere who says they have a bomb will get police attention lickity split. But a teenager threatening suicide, nothing. What a shame.

PS: can anyone embed that picture? I can't see it as I don't belong to Facebook and don't want to join just to see a picture.

Wow, that is really sad. This is where you need actual real friends. Tweets and FB are fun toys but can't match an actual friend.

Sorry if I misunderstood but it did come off a little bit like this girl could help it and was ultimately responsible for her own demise. That was what you said wasn't it? Again - sorry IF I got your gist wrong.

Are there people TOO damaged to respond to support, to knowing finally others are aware of what's happening and are on their side? Are there those too broken to respond to encouragement or even help? Perhaps, but I definitely think they are RARE. This girl was not even all she was going to be yet. She had not formed enough of her character to say that strength of it might have saved her. Young people build character and strength and desire by adult examples. They will emulate the people around them. This girl had no heroes.

Speaking also as a victim of abuse I can say that SUPPORT sometimes makes all the difference in the world and that the decisions and success of a persons suicide is sometimes determined not by strength or weakness but by sheer luck and at times the circumstances of timing and intervention alone.

Sometimes it is just this "day" one has to get through...if you can make it through this one rough patch, you can make it. There are temptations to slip, fall and NOT make it. Shooting at you from the rooftops today....But then, maybe someone walks in or offer a few kind words, ASKS about you, and it is enough to get you through today. Tomorrow has to be better. Tomorrow you will have the strength you are sadly lacking today. I know that something as simple as just going to bed, rather than staying up and thinking... has saved many a life.

Star for you. I hate CPS too. What you say is true. My daughter was seven yearls old when we got her. She was going into foster care with her four older sisters. As a distantly related step relative, I was able to get her from the court, however she had a case worker from cps. She was in the system for over and year and the parents rights were still not terminated. As a matter of fact the dad would show up drunk to the supervised visits. I told the case worker he was drunk one time and she turned on me!! She was actually trying to reunite the dad with his daughters. I wrote a letter to the governor detailing the crappy work the cps worker was doing.

Since I was not a licensed foster parent, I didn't get her taken away from me. Let me tell you, that was what would have happened if I was licensed. We were able to finally adopt her over five years later. The state could give a rip about the kids they have in their care. It's all about their money. They are only making money if they have children in the system.

When a legitimate complaint comes forth or they see abuse with their own eyes, what do they do? Ask their supervisor? That is one of the problems with these case workers. They are young and wet behind the ears. I ended up getting licensed for foster care and had a couple other girls placed with us. Every worker was fresh out of college and caused our family more harm than anything. I was investigated twice for imagined abuse. I cleared the complaints with flying colors. After I was cleared the second time, I resigned as a foster parent. The investigator pleaded with me to stay with it. I told her it wasn't worth the upset. I was so traumatized by lazy lying workers I had to quit.

I feel so grieved by the suicide of this beautiful girl. If there is anyone reading this board and this message and having problems, contact me privately. We will find a way to make this stop and heal your heart.

What is it going to take for people to pay attention and do something. This young woman cried out for help...and (apparently) got none. As you pointed out...there are some fakers out there. I think we should take all of the abuse and suicide statements seriously....then if we find out some are fake ...deal with that and move on to those that are not.

There are too many suicides (in reality) among the young people....where is the help?

This is so sad.
As we clearly are being shown now, pedophilia is rampant.
From the top down.
In places we would never suspect.
This is the problem.
Why isn't there more of an outcry, more protection, more justice?
Because those who are suppose to
be protecting and calling out the perps are perps too.

Be careful posting that image without knowing who it is.....she had a stepfather who was very good to her and her biological father is the one that did these horrible things to her. Im having trouble finding out who's who and the images for both but im going to keep looking to see if I can find a face for the monster that did this to her.

I do hope he gets convicted and learns what happens to disgusting men like him in prison.

Edit: Her fathers name is John Billasano.

The last days man, says it all right there. Personally i would have put a stop to it myself if i lived in her area. Damn shame. People so busy trying to get their slice of the american dream that they don't give a damn about anyone else.
