That father and those who praise him for his actions will pay for their murder. Did he not give his daughter a chance to repent? It seems like the father needed an excuse to kill his daughter and this was what he was looking for. Very sad.

And yes religion is bad, which is the worship of Satan in disguise, but the Muslim religion isnt the root of the problem, its manmade doctrines that stem from wicked men. That includes Christians, Mormans, Buddhists, and any other sect or cult that follows the teachings of man. Just because Christians don't promote killing for their 'god' doesnt mean the religion itself isnt bad. I just poke at Christians cause I was once one for over 25 years and I know enough of it to say whats wrong with it.

Christianity is the opposite of Islam when it comes to disobedience. Christians turn the other cheek, and Muslims will kill you. And just because Christianity is all fuzzy, and warm feeling doesnt mean they aren't damning your soul to eternal punishment. The verse "wolves in sheeps clothing" does come to mind. Chrisitans appear to be soft, kind hearted, but inside they are murderous, adulterous with their heart, lie, deceive others for their own gain, money fame or reputation. They are just another group of the sons of perdition waiting for judgment. And for Muslims, they dont have the right to kill anyone, but Yahuwah will judge those in the last day by their works by His Son Yahuwshuwah. Just a warning to those who actually care about their soul, better make a change and find the truth before its to late.

I can't comprehend this father's action!!!!! To kill your own daughter, let alone the sons helped kill her? Any father who loved their children wouldn't think of doing such a thing. Any God who would bless someone killing his own creation, let alone ignore the love that was used to justify her death is no God of mine.

This is a perfect example of what is wrong with religion. It's brainwashing used over thousands of years. Religions have killed in the name of a loving God and in some twisted way they justify it? If there is a hell, there's a special place reserved for this father and his sons.

And then the sons stood by allowing their mother to be shot as well. Its not isolated. It happens here as well.

Its not just Islam, there is a cultural leaning towards this that goes way back, but fundamentalist groups around the world are very repressive. So its partly Islam, fundamental Islam, a branch of Islam fanned into dominance by Nazi Germany, and its predecessors. Because they were progressing too, overall.

This is not isolated to the region but supported by our cartel. Orchestrated by our cartel.

It looks like the father is a woman killer as he had his wife killed for divorcing him after he killed her daughter.

* News * World news * Iraq Mother who defied the killers is gunned down Five weeks ago Leila Hussein told The Observer the chilling story of how her husband had killed their 17-year-old daughter over her friendship with a British soldier in Basra. Now Leila, who had been in hiding, has been murdered - gunned down in cold blood. Afif Sarhan in Basra and Caroline Davies report on the final act of a brutal tragedy

you are quoting from the torah, old estimate. Remember according to Christianity when Jesus started spreading his message he said he brought new laws...besides all that Christians were and may still be barbaric also.

The press can say what they want, but the fact is nobody welcomes foreign troops into their country that are there because they invaded.

Maybe so, but i think most over zealous groups would disown her and tell her to leave at most not put their boot on their own child's neck and crush the life out of her with the help of her brothers!

as i said in my post its not allowed , no where in sharia that says you have a right of killing your own child for honor , you see before islam took over in arabia men used to be ashamed when their wifes brought girls , that they used to bury them alive , but when islam came this brutality was stopped and was called a crime nad ever since it has never happened again .

Isn't this strange that many cultures have been "shamed or disappointed' by the birth of a female, when every man who feels that way was brought into this world by a woman. I just can't understand how such ignorance ever could have taken hold!

Thank you, Dr,

Thank you so much for your reply.

But I am still trying to see where it is OK to murder your daughter. But is NEVER RIGHT BY BUDDHA, JESUS, or GOD.

So, could someone tell me where it is OK to murder your daughter?

Or also to throw acid on a woman's face for shaming her family or refusing to marry someone etc.!

It reminds me of Christ stopping the stoning of a woman, this horrible murder shows the difference between Christianity and Islam.

Maybe part of it is that Christians don't take their bible literally. Otherwise they would cut of their hand when it ofened them or poke out their own eyes...most would have no eyes by now!

jesus was a man ahead of his time. his teaching lead to ground breaking concepts such as:

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female, for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

humans had (and still have) a very hard time with such ideas: no master race? no distinction between women and men? so, they just ignored it. lol

The crucial difference, is, christians killing kids is always an isolated incident, and condemned by all people and relatives of the perpetrator when it happens.
These acts have widespread support of other Iraqi muslims. Apples and oranges.

Sorry man, but Christians don't really have a good track record themselves when it comes to killing people in the name of God, let's just agree what this guy did was wrong, we can even agree that he did it for what he believed his Muslim faith wanted him to do.

You're talking out of your..

Now how about you count up how many "honor killings" Christians have done over the past one hundred years to Islamic "honor killings". How much you wanna bet that the counts is exponentially higher. So troll, you fail.

Maybe not all "honor killings" but a lot of killing and some honor ones too.
If you look you will find "christians" who have killed their children because of foricaion, because they don't believe in medical care and like this one beat their kids to death for god...just search and yeah shall find!
fundamentalist Christian couple who killed their 7-year-old adopted daughter while practicing a violent form of discipline.

Don't forget from the very beginning of the bible, god ordered killings of women and children and animals...have you read it? I think all religion stinks.

One of my all time favorite authors.........Shakespeare

From Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is a play about star-crossed lovers. The play is one of the most famous works by William Shakespeare. Lovers (Romeo and Juliet) are caught between two worlds, as their families feud to the death. Fights, witty lines, secret marriages, and untimely deaths--the play is unforgettable! Here are a few lines from Romeo and Juliet.

"One fairer than my love? The all-seeing sun
Ne'er saw her match since first the world begun."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 1.2

"For you and I are past our dancing days"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 1.5

"O! she doth teach the torches to burn bright"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 1.5

"Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight!/ For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 1.5

"It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 1.5

"O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name.
Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love
And I'll no longer be a Capulet."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2

"It is the east, and Juliet is the sun"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2

"Good Night, Good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night till it be morrow."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2

"See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand!
O that I were a glove upon that hand,
that I might touch that cheek!"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2

"Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.3

"These violent delights have violent ends
And in their triumph die, like fire and powder,
Which as they kiss consume."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.3

"A plague o' both your houses!"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.1

"This day's black fate on more days doth depend:
This but begins the woe others must end."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.1

"Romeo is banished,
There is no end, no limit, measure, bound,
In that word's death. No words can that woe sound."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.2

"Tis torture, and not mercy. Heaven is here
Where Juliet lives, and every cat and dog
And little mouse, every unworthy thing,
Live here in heaven and may look on her,
But Romeo may not."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.3

"Methinks I see thee, now thou art so low,
As one dead in the bottom of a tomb."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.5

"Is there no pity sitting in the clouds
That sees into the bottom of my grief?
O sweet my mother, cast me not away!
Delay this marriage for a month, a week,
Or if you do not, make the bridal bed
In that dim monument where Tybalt lies."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.5

"Or bid me go into a new-made grave,
And hide me with a dead man in his shroud -
Things that, to hear them told, have made me tremble -
And I will do it without fear or doubt,
To live an unstain'd wife to my sweet love."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 4.1

"Not stepping o'er the bounds of modesty"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 4.2

"O woe! O woeful, woeful, woeful day!
Most lamentable day. Most woeful day
That ever, ever I did yet behold!
O day, O day, O day! O hateful day!
Never was seen so black a day as this.
O woeful day! O woeful day!"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 4.5

"I dreamt my lady came and found me dead"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 5.1

"Then I defy you, stars!"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 5.1

"O my love, my wife!
Death, that hath suck'd the honey of thy breath
Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 5.3

"Tempt not a desperate man"
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 5.3

"A greater power than we can contradict
Hath thwarted our intents."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 5.3

"For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 5.3

Sometimes you do not choose who to love, it just happens.

It can cross beyond culture, beyond religion, beyond race or whatever..............it just happens. Two souls intertwined, unite and caress for eternity.

This article shows that honour killings seem to be not only alive and well in Iraq, but widely socially accepted practice among Iraqi muslims. I am truly disgusted by the savages

They are truly disgusted by you- the savages who invaded their country.

Well, if my country is ruled by a dictator like Saddam was, I would welcome foreign intervention. Lots of Iraquis did, too. Its not clearly right or wrong.

No such ambiguity with this barbarian act.

it is my understanding the Saddam was not religious, he held 3 extreme religions together so they did not kill each other...they now have the freedom to "express themselves!"

That is the very reason why I always say that certain people do not want peace and why we must never let our guard down.
Some people talk about tolerance but clearly some people would never play by those same rules.

I guess there is truth in this photo after all.

Oh, because they'er savagely controlled, abused and repressed? In fear of their lives. WOW. I'm so impressed.

I'd rather we were all nakie then, myself. No sin in that, we came in that way, didn't we?

You know something, I love Belly Dance, and Tribal Drums, its great excercise and dance. But you know what, I see playboy bunny culture in the middle east. Whore/Madonna syndrome.

my mom taught me how to dress and sit appropriately, taught me about waiting till marriage for sex, and gave me clear examples to follow. i basically followed her advice and teaching but there were times when i thought she was just too old-fashioned. however, i didn't figure out how smart she was, till i was already an adult at the ripe old age of 18.

no need to kill your kids. teach them right when they're young, and when they grow older, they won't depart from the teaching. in other words, teach 'em, give them room to learn on their own, don't try to micro manage every waking moment of their lives, and it's a pretty sure bet, things will work out fine

God has no problem with a person killing their child.

Deuteronomy 21:18-21

18 If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him,
19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town.
20 They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard."
21 Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.

This is what people will not SEE. they will not understand ALL religions are full of this kind of thing! if you were to take the old writings at total face value we would all be killing someone!

If the women left, the men would be helpless and either change or die out for lack of children and wives. Self Respect and demanding the respect they deserve! These men are barbarians, NOT honorable.

We all live with what we know. I bet there are still many women in the USA who when wed speak the words "I will love and obey..said man I am marrying!
it was not until 1918 women could vote... In 1918, Congress passed what became, when it was ratified by sufficient states in 1920, the Nineteenth Amendment, which prohibited state and federal agencies from gender-based restrictions on voting. en.wikipedia.org...'s_suffrage#United_States

There are so many examples of how women are still treated as second class and we can't seem to change it because it is mostly men who are in power and they dominate all religion!
