Job hunting. There's a reason for them to leave.

lack of jobs due to a broken economic system. Reason to stay. cheers.

You're welcome.

So the businesses and residents don't have a right to be there? Maybe the protestors should show some common decency and go home willingly. They have made their point...they are now just being annoying.

It's not about making a point. It's about making a change....The point should have been inherently obvious to anyone with a lick of common sense, since day one. Honestly, sorry you are annoyed.

I can give you a hug, if it makes you feel better.

Or if you don't want a hug.Maybe this sign will help.

Here is to a work in progress. Sorry about the mess, mate.

And the protestors have the right to assemble...not the right to set up a tent city wherever they want. Not to mention the fact that the park is privately owned.

If you support them that much...invite them to your house to set up their tents in your yard...don't ask others to do it for you.

Hang on, sending an angry EMAIL would have made the point... Would it have made a difference however?

The point of the point is to make a difference and not simply a point make.

Lol, "I stood up and say NO MORE, then I sat back down again.."

Sounds silly...

It's not about making a point. It's about making a change

What are they wanting to change?

How are they proposing to change it?

By this logic, anyone who is against troops bing in the middle east, must only be at certain places, and never shall they make their voices heard around the country... Because to do so, it going to be annoying to someone, and thats just not on.

I don't get it... If the PEOPLE are against it, then the PEOPLE will make their stance whevered they are.

Being all over the country - hell, all over the world to be honest, means that it's not just one group of overgrown kiddies having a rally and a boohoo about something that can be ignored.

You cannot ignore it.

But you can call them names and tell them to go home.

Forcibly remove them from being in public, and you remove YOUR right to do the same.

If you're ok with that, then that's your prerogative.

Setting a precedent with your stance on the matter in having 'dirty kids' remove from public protest, you set a very nasty precedent.

Dont throw them out...move them over, so they can still make their point. Its their right to do so in a peaceable fashion (and not with all the nonsense some of them are exhibiting) That detracts from their real issues and concerns which are all valid ones.

Well then I suppose it is time for us "Bums" to stand the hell up to these corrupt cops. Stand up against this corrupt government. And stand up to you people who are against this because it’s not the "Republican thing to do".

In turn I call you the god damn bums because you aren’t the ones out there exercising your rights as Americans, trying to end this outrageous influence of big business on our government. Our government that should be more influenced by the people of the country they represent then the profit.

What rebuttal do you have against that? We should either turn our heads against the corruption and let it be? Or support it. That’s the message and impression that many of you anti OWS are conveying...The most mentioned thing I have heard many of you use as an excuse against is that "well its a leftist movement"...Jesus bloody Christ, Really? HAVE YOU BEEN TO AN OCCUPY MEETING? Or are you basing your skewed opinion on what you see on the news, or what party your suppose to represent. Because your family does.

I can damn well guarantee that 95% of these anti OCW have never even been to one, listened to why, or understood the reasoning for why these protests are happening, merely because it’s a "Leftist Movement" and a waste of time. That to me seems like a bigger problem then people in the street protesting...At least we are trying to do something, Your just sitting on your computer and bitching.

Throw them out indeed enough is enough.

By a 39 - 30 percent margin, American voters have an unfavorable opinion of the Occupy Wall Street movement, with 30 percent who don't know enough about it for an opinion.

www.quinnipiac.edu...

OWS has become like Congress do nothing get nothing done and expect you to thank them for it.

End the Occupation.

If they have time to protest all damn day and night, they're not employed.I don't care what any of you say.Anyone with a job does not have that kind of time.

Seems your thinking is one sided. That never wins any argument.

You said:
"…because you aren’t the ones out there exercising your rights as Americans, trying to end this…"
He IS exercising his right as American…by disagreeing with you. His right as yours.

"And stand up to you people who are against this because it’s not the "Republican thing to do".
Many Democratics and Libertarians agree against the movement too. Your statement is flawed.

And you as well…are sitting at home on your computer bitching too. And you are trying to do something alright…tell everyone who disagrees with you THEY are wrong.

If the shoe fits….

Please explain that extra special kind of genius.
If they are camping out in my yard with my permission...how are they protesting anything other than sleeping indoors?

That's about the most asinine thing I've heard from OWS supporters thus far, and by the amount of stars that reply received [And will receive] it also demonstrates the lack of intelligence of those who supported it. Driving businesses out of business is no way to insure "Jobs" which some seem to be screaming about from the crowds.

They've made their point now it's time to get serious and take it to Washington and go after those who can really affect change. There was a thread around here the other day about a Mom and Pop coffee shop owner who had to let 20 something people go due to lack of business because of the protesters I was shocked at the shear ignorance by some members who could have cared less as long as they got their rhetoric posted.

Every generation thinks "Theirs" is "Special"

NOT!

As a matter of fact, the preceding generations had it much more on the ball. The Greatest generation fought all over the world and defeated Nazism, fascism and Imperialism. The next one came out in the Millions against the war in Vietnam and stood up to Global Communism at the same time. This Generation however, shows up barely breaking 10 to 15 thousand at some isolated pockets and they have the audacity to believe they speak for the 99%
