I believe JamesHawking may really be onto something important here - the more I think about it the more I agree, Just on the BBC news that the UK Government is thinking of introducing legislation to ban the pitching of tents or the occupying of spaces by anyone in a protest. That must lead to multiple incidents of violence. It's the slow but sure erosion of freedom of speech.

Anon is a not a person and not a very organised group. Main reason for taking down FB is their privacy policy. Theres a thread about it if you're interested in the whole event.
BTW revolutions in egypt can very well start in some other websites. Maybe those websites won't keep their information forever. And information is power, my friend.

You don't ask for permission to protest - Thatcher brought in that requirement in the UK - we thought it was funny. To protest against the state you have to comply the state's requirements? I don't think so.

A policeman friend expressed his concerns to me some years ago (4 to be exact) that he had been receiving training to deal with massive civil unrest for the previous 4 years. He was concerned - that should be reassuring. What is perhaps not so reassuring is that our government obviously knew all of this was coming - under dear old Tony.

Our government also banned protest outside parliament - it was the POLICE who showed us how to beat that remember?? They queued quietly and peacefully to meet their mp's - albeit the queue was a mile long....use your brains NOT your brawn.

The Occupy movements seem to be serving the PTB in a manner similar to the drug war, the are effectively separating and concentrating the dissenters. It is very likely they will have false flag "terror" attacks to provoke violence and kill the most vocal protesters to usher in martial law. Here in WI we have freeway gate roadblocks, that have some sort of solar powered signaling box attached. All I can tell you is why did they go though the trouble to soler power each of the roadblock gates when there is already juice from the traffic signals?

Christina - I don't disagree with your general sentiments but I suggest the OWS and global equivalent protests are part of the social engineering which is being manipulated and controlled by the powers to achieve their objectives of world domination. You don't seem to get my point. One day they use fb to help Obama get his muslim brotherhood revolution going in Egypt and now they are going to take down fb because suddenly there is a privacy issue with it? Anon knew of the privacy issues at least a year and a half ago, because I knew of it that long ago. So one day they use it and the next its not private enough?
Fb and twitter were the prize social media used to promote the Egyptian and Tunisian uprisings. And by the way, Tunisia uses fb because YouTube is BANNED there.

I liked the part where you presented ANY concrete evidence or sources for any of your claims or even said how you know all this stuff so well you can phrase it as if its fact. /eyeroll.

I'm so tired of people making these big claims and elaborate stories like they are omniscient and somehow know everything that is going to happen while they sit in their basement browsing conspiracy sites all day. It is immediate evidence of bull# when some random dude somehow can tell you the future in detail, without any evidence or anything, because it just came out of his head.


It's so depressing how many people on this site are willing to take any story and claim made by a random person at face value, with no evidence required what-so-ever just because it fits in with their world view. Even if you "think" or "want" this to happen, it's pathetic to just believe it cause the guy says so.

For all you know this guy is just a wall street sympathizer, insider, who is using a clever way to get you to stop protesting through fear. More likely he's just another delusional person who thinks random fantasies that pop into his head = worth posting as if they are facts.

For shame ATS. This used to be a website of real research where evidence had to be presented for claims.
