Yes because if the Government really wanted to impose martial law they would need peaceful protesters as their excuse. There's no way it's just a grassroots movement, and fueled by everyone's anger and in general, just being fed up with the direction the Government has been taking this country. ... ATS is really volital as of late. I thought this was a safe place to spew ideas/theories without getting badgered and trolled by others who aren't open to other's view points and ideas and opinions... Must have this confused with another website.

My opinion is these OWS movements were good at the beginning, BUT WHAT ARE THEY ACCOMPLISHING. ONCE 6AM HITS, PEOPLE STILL HIT THAT ALARM BUTTON AND GO TO WORK.

Once the powers in charge say you gotta get off this property, YOU will get off the property. Your not built for a war with these people, 5% of the 99% can handle a battle, the rest will run home, and I mean fast. You ever been to jail? I bet a large majority of the Occupy protesters haven't done time and are AFRAID of doing time, therefore when the big guns come out and the real threats laid down, You will go home and be thankful you aren't locked up.

I dont see these protests accomplishing anything, without violence. Is basically what I am trying to say. Do you think the rich and powerful really care about some ants in the park? Really people.......it was all cute and sweet at the start. You saw what the people do at the Brooklyn Bridge incident, they cower, they are scared, the huddle together. Thats a majority of the protesters, not ready for war with these a-holes.

Haha, "all of the sudden". Bush announced in 2008 that all troops would be out of iraq by 31st december 2011. Obama is simply following orders, just as Bush were.

What do the infantry soldiers do now. The hundreds of thousands that have been employed with the D.O.D. since 9/11. There was a surge in hiring then and a lot of infantry were accepted, fast.

So they are coming home for X-mas, I guess they will just hit the target range until the next war front is declared.

You know I completely agree with you. Have you seen the amount of flags and stars this nonsensical topic got? Not to mention the amount of "I agree" comments. People are losing it. Power to the People

Our current POTUS is very UN oriented. After all, he did co -sponsor the GLobal Poverty Act, though it did not pass, it would have given 0.07% of American GDP to UN to fight "poverty", but we know that the UN is not really fighting poverty but redistributing wealth, and instituting the One Child policy in various parts of the world(that means limiting family size through financial incentives-they are giving our tax dollars to pay couples to limit their family to one child). Our tax dollars are going to training universal soldiers to put us down when the NWO wants.
POTUS has thrown many people under the bus, and he will have no trouble doing it to any person in OWS regardless of how he says he supports them.

So..to sum up the ops.

Stop protesting..cause bankers are in control...so stop protesting the banking and economic same ole...just sit at home and accept it.

Well, they had their chance with the Tea Party. They tried in vain to make Americans believe Tea Partiers were truly racist war mongering red neck extremists, and even people in this forum believed that. But it didn't really work. They need to have a reason for Martial Law, and it has to be an unruly crowd, not one that cleans up after itself.

I wont be surprised if they drag this baby out at some point.

I wanted to "pop" in immediately to say that currently on the History channels they are playing the Seven Deadly Sins...dicussion of the "damned" and on the other it is speaking about zombies and how tribal members in new Papua Guiena pratice cannibalism. They are talking about how the disease is pasted on from others to kill and eat others with the passing on the zombie plague. The are harping on the fact that the plague would lead to panic and how the society would fall apart. They are speaking in reference to an apocolypse...the black death.
Right now the are now speaking about the avian flu / influenza pandemic in 1918 in Spain; and it affects infants, adolescents and the elderly. They are stating that the society would become blaise thait it was just the "flu." They cotinue speaking on how the public would deny then turn into panic. SARS is another outbreak that they are studying to create a synopsis of how the zombie plague would play out. .....now they are displaying defensive technigues on how to "attack" a zombie and bring them down.

Hopefully I have not offered info that has already been posted. I do find it is quite interesting on the timing and the fact that the flu shot is being "demanded" for those that are pregnant and all children. I have a 3 yr old and have stalled in getting the shot in fear that is apparentl.

I also want to point out that congress is to take a recess from Nov 6-13 and the national EAS test that will happen in Nov..

Hmmm, bankers and Marshal law, implausible? This was taped during the vote to bail out the banks. I would love to know who specifically made that threat.
