I'll let you into a little secret.

I was once WAY more hardcore left wing then you will ever be.

And then I grew up.

Then you must have been an unserious JOKE about it! Let me guess... you half-assed your way into some punk-scene... got your heart broken by a girl or two... got pissed off at a couple dumb juveniles... and then wrote off every single thing left-wing due to your own biased experiences with a handful of people?

Just a shot in the dark...

Either way... I'm old enough to be out of my teen phase and I still NEVER see myself becoming EITHER of two things, due to certain undeniable knowledge of how the world works. ONE of those things is being religious, the SECOND is being a right-winger. I've gone too far down the rabbit-hole to turn back, nor do I want to. I pride myself on seeking truth no matter how much it hurts or depresses (or heals/uplifts)... and I hold no allegiances to what I see as oppressive facades, whether of government, god, or wealth/markets. If you want an individualist... you've found one, I'm a rebel amongst rebels, and I respect and embrace individualism, but I won't, for one second, deny my inherent need for belonging to a group/collective, a drive which EVERY HUMAN has. A collective need not be oppressive to the individual. The best collectives embrace the individual and turn them, voluntarily, towards greater fulfillment... like a well-functioning family.

The Tea Party accomplishments:

Ted Kennedy seat going Republican first time ever in decades and subsequent election's since then.

A complete sweep in the House of Representative's a close call in the Senate.

Stop a running wild Democratic majority and change the focus of the Hope and Change crap.

We have all seen what they have done and We have all seen what OWS has done which has amounted to not much but get arrested bunch of stealing and few other things i won't waste my time on.

The difference between TPM and OWS is location among what has already been listed.

How?
How are you so conistentantly, constantly, and supremely funny? How dooooo you do it?
Now here are 3 things I am positive you can NOT do.

1- Explain the difference between the so called "TEA Party" and the Republican party hiding under a new paint of coat.
2-Prove anyone actually "accomplished" any of those things other than the Republicans who voted.
3-Chew gum and carry a full thought.

Please prove me wrong.

MYFOXNY.COM - A protester, angered by the presence of a news crew inside Zuccotti Park Friday morning, threatened to stab Fox 5 News reporter John Huddy. Police arrested the protester.

www.myfoxny.com...

I'd say it is representative of the last month.

It's coming from the Media. If the media wants to paint them in a bad spot light they can.. I doubt just because a news crew came walking into a park trying to film the OWS movement (Remember, the media only gives air times to the full blow retards) that someone would just walk up "Get out or i'm going to stab you".. A bit far fetched in my opinion, maybe it was just a random junkie in the park who they claimed to be associated with him because they woke him up sleeping on the bench and took his half bottle of frosty jacks.

Just because they paint one person bad in the spot light, doesn't mean you have to paint everyone else, I've slowly been reading about the movement and seeing whats what, I can tell you now that half of the people here who are anti ows.. I don't see you doing anything better or anything to change the world one step at a time, just constantly moaning and crying and claiming that OWS is bad and its the devils work! .. even if it takes a long time, these guys are willing to put the effort.

And just one more thing, those protesters throwing bottles could of actually of been off duty police officers, or police officers called in from different area's to get riots started, once the bottles are thrown and these guys make their little get away, the police come charging in full pelt.

The reason I have not been writing posts in the previous threads when the video concerned first aired was because I was waiting for the other side of the story, I knew if would be revealed soon or later. Now most of you have missed the unique symbolism of what that incident represented, open your awareness fellow humans and realise that the bottle thrown at the police but not 'at' the police encapsulates the emotion of OWS and the rest of the occupy gatherings. The bottle represented the corporate entity that is devouring the american pysche. The bottle thrown is the rejection of the banking financial corruption and fraud which by the 99% are the victims of.

These are just my thoughts for the day.

When you steal folks money, there going to get mad, what amazes me, is that the police havent started protesting, after all it's there money and rights that are being highjacked to.

Rules of engagement !! ...under the conditions of rocks and bottles being thrown at police then police had the right to respond in kind.

Meaning they also cpuld throw rocks and bottle back . She right in saying hardcore weapons were not a suitable response .
If protestor had fire bombs and flash granade and such then police could respond in kind .

So trouble is that a common tactic is for police or trouble makers to start a battle by sending in spies behind the lines . to throw stuff.
So really if protestors see this then they themselves should disarm those people .
As for that brave young man Scott Olsen , I only have the utmost of admiration for him in his silent stance in the front line . Humble but firm. I think they tried to assasinate him

To the claim that the Tea Party never makes threats on their end. Or that there are no arrests at Tea Party movements.

Tea Partiers threaten violence

Sure there have been crimes commited at Occupy movements nationwide, but how many of these crimes are being committed by Protesters, and how many by criminals taking advantage of the camps?

Occupy "Crasher" arrested for groping.

There is violence and arrests on both ends. The reason we're hearing more about these concerns on the Occupy front is solely because the Occupy movement is targeting the right area of corruption, and by doing so their attracting loads of disinfo campaigns, exaggerated stories, unprovoked violence by police.

You take a swipe at a snake's tail, it will slither away. You take a swipe at its face, and the fangs come out.
The occupy movement has definitely hit a nerve with the source of corruption in this world. Now there are reports of cops dressing like protesters and inciting violence at rallies. This will get worse long before it gets better.

Regardless of what anyone thinks / speaks about on here, we'll never know for sure unless you go down there yourself, FACT

dis-inforamtion or information you should never make up your mind on just watching videos, ANYTHING can be edited to favour one side or the other, i should know, i can do it.

for instance, i dont watch the next programs im about to talk about but i have seen adverts and the odd episode with family, Big Brother, X factor, these types of shows with their adverts can easily sway who you like and who you dont like by showing you the good or bad in each side. its just clear editing.

Use your own judgement people. the fight for your minds is a dirty fight and the gloves have been off for years. Believe is a powerful tool.
im not going to let you know which side i support because some people on here would say " oh hes just in favour of this side and has cleverly worded it to favour them"

THINK FOR YOURSELF.

Most agree that things are not very good in the US right now (or the world for that matter) and while OWS is a little bit of a disorganized bunch they are still doing something most are not....something. These people are standing up for all of us, maybe its not the best it is still something. OWS may or may not be the start of a revolution and OWS is still way too small but, if it grows and really turns into the revolution eventually violence must occur. A revolution will not succeed without violence. The OWS are smart right now to advocate peacuful demonstration because any violence perpetrated against can only draw people's interest and eventually lead to more supporters.

I've said it from the beginning of this that there are forces determined to create a violent uprising from this, not unlike what has happened in the Middle East and Africa.

Now fliers show up at Occupy Phoenix reading.. "When Should You Shoot a Cop"

Unclear who the source of the fliers are, but if you were a LEO what would you think?

Here is the text in these fliers:

content.clearchannel.com... (pdf file)

I don't believe anyone in the occupy movement wrote that, so... who did and why?

Those aren't Tea Party Protesters and if they were they wouldn't be throwing things at people and acting like idiots.

I saw that poster on The Five. Eric Bolling held it up.

-------------
The bottle throwing was orchestrated. It's called Phase 2.

Make the police look bad.

Basically, make a video of the entire event.
Edit out the bottle throwing but leave in the police counterpunches.
Label the police brutal and part of a police state.
The Marxists had an edited tape on YouTube just 1 hour after the violence started
in Oakland.

George Soros is laughing at the TV from his Four Seasons Hotel room as he watches it all unfold.

He is saying 4 words. " This is too easy."

When does it become indicative of the whole movement? This phrase that "one or two people don't represent the movement" really starts to add up when it is said over and over and over and over again in DIFFERENT instances! When does it start representing it?

And I'm sorry, I had to do this:

Yeah well i don't support stupid people or stupid actions throwing things and atagonizing the police there is only but one outcome and for any to sit there and expect the police to just stand there and take whatever they literally threw at them.

I side with the police they respond to their instigations good luck getting cop haters ever seeing that tho.

I love your icon thingy with the gas mask, pretty telling actually. I suppose you have your own riot gear ready to go at all times.

You are right about there being only one outcome. There will be violence. The police will always use more than the protesters and in your eyes they will always be right. If I throw a rock at a cop because they shot my friend with a rubber bullet they will shoot a canister of teargas at me and hit me in the head causing me to go into a coma or maybe killing me. If I lob a bottle at cops in riot-gear they will open fire with deadly force.

It is inevitable that violence will ensue. This movement is just getting started. You would have to be totally insane to think there is any other way to change this corrupt system. People at rallies know they will get hurt or killed if things go badly. They accept that because they want evil out of government. Of course some people are not as noble, but the idea of removing corruption should be the headline.

All I see on ATS and other sites is the anti-ows agenda being played the loudest. Just like FOX there are people making up stories or finding videos/pics of protesters at their worst and cherry-picking them to demonize the movement. I used to think these people were paid shills, but now I think they are just going along with peer pressure so they don't appear to be stupid anarchists. A good example is on another site where they offered $100 for the best anti-ows footage. I commented on that outrageous affront to fairness and got banned instantly. Nothing like a conspiracy theory site openly supporting the anti-ows agenda.

I see the same thing here. I posted a story about this and it was deleted before anyone could read it. I suppose this reply will be deleted as well in keeping with policy. Manipulation of the news and false stories is one of the main reasons I support the OWS movement. I also despise corrupt politicians and corporations who are either supporting the anti-ows agenda or getting free support from useless idiots.
