Really?

A Halloween costume is going to become the vessel of the racism card?

We can't put -christian- religious symbols in our front yards, these days. God help a kid if he prays in school and tells another kid what he/she is doing - CYA protocols will be enacted and have the kid practically expelled to avoid a lawsuit.

Now, I can't even be a damned Ninja for Halloween? It might offend some Asian dude... or someone who likes to get offended by anything that can possibly construed as racism.

There's a difference between -racism- and someone failing to be amused by another person's attempt at being amusing.

If I blacked my face up and started doing a caricature of a black man, no doubt that would be considered very offensive and in bad taste.

Yet some how these costumes are deemed a laugh and good fun.

All true and well, sadly anything comfortable in today's society is either a threat or non important regardless of the fact that eventually they lead to people like myself. But hey, sadly, yes, people assume all Americans are fat and all Muslims are terrorists. Thus my initial post was put there for a purpose, but one must keep in mind that anything other than religious approval should be either beheaded or erased from scriptures based on an ideology supported from people who do not know what and how to calculate gravity.
