Was he a lunatic for locking up Al Qaeda terrorists so they couldn't fight in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Umm no, that's not how real wars are fought. That's how cowards fight wars because they have something to hide (like the actual reason for why they are killing people).

Liberate? The more you believe we are liberating the world, the more you become trapped in the fairytale. We didn't liberate anyone; we destabilized a country, killed thousands, destroyed its infrastructure, rallied the extremists there to take the reigns (the very same enemies that we fought in Afghanistan and Iraq). The Libyan people now know what terror is because we brought it to them. Merry fricken Christmas, Libya.
