Yeah my theory is that they used the Egypt crisis to gather the forces in southern Egypt. Using trained militia from the al-CIAda camps in Afghanistan. Then under the cloud of French airstrikes pushed forward deep into Libya. I remember Gaddafi saying al-Qaeda was the ones killing civilians. and that it wasn't him. I also remember Gaddafi not buying into the NWO thing. So he would need to be eliminated or surpressed in preparation for Iran. Considering how much the Mediterranean is going to be active during these coming months.

Mark my words Clinton signed the cheque and CNN make it believable.

Its amazing what results money and opium have on a group of men one trains to act as rebels or al-Qaeda terrorists. Same thing is happening in Syria. But Assad does what Gaddafi couldn't and that was just shoot them dead. Hence Syria will be next to fall. Ever before Iran war or during the first stages. The US or should I say NWO powers that be will not allow Syria to be in control when the green light is activated.

And LMAO at planning a vacation to Libya, it's been blown to pieces. All that is left now is poverty and the steady growth of Islamic extremism(as we're seeing in Egypt).

You realise that Libya was actually a great and wealthy country before this episode, envied by the world for much of its innovation and social systems? Obviously not because you're oblivious to the fact the Rebels are Socialist hating Islamic radicals, but you should know, try reading something other than the DM maybe

Not bad, I probably won't live to witness any of of it but I like the sound of it.

Also Libya will be in civil war with rebels splitting for their own interests. Hardly a sound idea to go to a country that's ready to descend into chaos. You'd be better advised going to Helmand province

It is extremely ignorant to think that the death of Qaddafi compares in any way to bin Laden. Qaddafi was overthrown by "his own people" and he had (almost) no support outside that group of loyalists. His death in no way will drive anyone into retaliation. And while I understand that NATO was involved, this was more or less only a Libya-related situation... At best, (Now-)former supporters will disrupt the process to put in a new government, but this happens every time there is someone overthrown.

And don't forget that the driving factor in bin Ladens situation was based around religion. This alone would get a larger mass of supporters who belive the same way, right or wrong. Qaddafi was just trying to hold up his rule in the country, not strike out against anyone else.

So, leading into the part about a burial at sea, it is just not the same thing between the two again. Because of the actual situation that bin Laden was involved in, his body/grave could be used as a source of "power" and turn into a militant Mecca. Almost no one is going to use Qaddafis death as a rallying cry for retaliation.

OK, I just re-read what I wrote, and I am realizing that, due to being tired, I am not making sense. Let me try to summarize:

There is no way to compare bin Laden and Qaddafi. The situations were completely different. And based greatly around religion.

Libya has great wealth and potential to be a mediteranean diamond.

This is not Iraq and the people have already proved what they are capable of when they pull together.

The trouble with the people on this site is that they are always looking for the negative angle and poo poo the achievements of people.

In this instance I have no reason to disbelieve that the Libyan people will not continue to pull together and rebuiled the country better than before.

The talking heads and so-called "experts" have been consistantly proven wrong on Libya. I hope they continue to be proved wrong and cant wait for the day when I can sit outside a cafe in Tripolli, just like my grandad did during ww2, drink strong coffee and shoot the breeze with the locals.

Al Jazeera are just about to release the footage they've obtained of the corpse! Another great day for freedom of an oppressed people!

They've been showing it a few times on Sky news as well. It's basically a video of civilians literally dragging Gaddafi's dead and bloodied body through the streets of Sirte so It's quite gruesome really. Nothing too extreme was shown though of course.

No doubt that it really is Gaddafi as well btw. No doubt at all.

What I don't get, is how if he was captured and removed to another place, how was his dead body dragged through the streets?
Why are there such conflicts in facts already?
Captured, shot in the legs, dead, shot in the head, shot in the abdomen, dragged through the streets...
What exactly happened from start to finish? I'd put the news on but my little boy is watching his cartoons at the moment and I don't want to turn it off for something far more sinister than Peppa Pig

This is what happens when you aren't in hock to the Banking Cartel, remember that Libya was one of 5 Central Banks that was NOT controlled by the Rothschilds.

The takeover and replacement of the Central Bank was the first mission of the Rebels if you recall.

AND even moreso as to why Ghadaffi is now dead and silenced.

Remember what happened to President John F Kennedy shortly after signing executive order #1110 ?

We are all supposed to be in Hock just as the Greeks and ourselves are....and if not.

Gadaffi's picture is a testament to what will occur if you try to run a country that isn't in debt nowadays.

Well as far as I'm aware It's been confirmed that Gaddafi's convoy was struck by Nato earlier on today, yes? So I have to wonder if Gaddafi and his guards, in their protected vehicles, ended up surviving this attack and were then forced to travel further on foot? If so then this may explain why he's been captured now - It was the only opportunity where he could have been spotted out in the streets by rebel forces or any other civilian maybe.

Just a thought of course. But if he was publicly seen like this then this may explain the very public way in which he seems to have died - and was then dragged through the streets by everyone else - witnesses who saw the shooting of him take place for example were even interviewed on Sky news not long ago as well.

But anyway who knows, I guess we'll have to wait for more information to come out.

Yeah, I think Al Jazeera will probably show the full video, they don't seem as bothered about censoring as Sky! :-)
