IRAN WAR : Less then 2 weeks ahead .. WW3 is at the door... List of facts pointing to it

Hasn’t this “war with Iran” been a rolling prediction for the last few years on ATS. Strangely, the predictions have all failed to come true. Just like this one!

Why attack Iran? The US many have made a pig’s ear of some foreign policy actions over the last few years, which is why they won’t get involved in Iran. We may all like to think that US government are stupid, but they are not. Iran has domestic problems and we are seeing the gradual erosion of autocracies in the Middle East – the so called “Arab Spring”. The US will play the long-game and let Iran gradually fail, which is what will happen and is happening. The closer Iran gets to failing, the more hysterical and ridiculous Armadinajad and PressTv et al will become.

As for the oft predicted “the Israel will do it”, we can discount that too. Israel will be restrained. They are diverted by their own set of problems, not least the military inability to actually attack Iran.

The US knows that to have any military involvement in the North African and the Middle East will reduce the likelihood of Muslim-lead change and the fall of crack pot dictatorships.

Plus, the US has domestic diversions, but the above explanation covers it I methinks.

Please stop the predictions. It’s all getting tedious.

I dont expect this phoney baloney plot to get the Ball rolling.
I do however expect that there will be other more extreme instances of Iran being scapegoated for everything and anything that they can throw at them.
The war fever isnt at the right pitch among the populace yet.
Also we maybe should watch our own Carrier fleet as well as other indications...Troops massing more along the Iranian borders etc.
Maybe the Gaza situation will be inflamed with the blockade some more....
Syria will be further destabilised,
With Libya wrapping up, perhaps Yemen, will be next, surprising no one...
As Far as Britain getting involved, the reasons will be trumped up when nessessary i suppose,
France may have some stake in this too as they are oil poor.and arrogant.
All these countries ahve nukes to burn and perhaps may be considering that a nuclear war will leave them in far better position that most of the world.
The leaders certainly plan to survive, and their DUMB construction equals Russia at least.
Why wouldnt it be the time to simply reduce the pop to its 500 million estimating they really have the resources to stash that many away safely....?

It seems many of these smaller wars are actually just proxy wars of sorts leading up to a final battle with China for superpower dominance.

I still think it's going to happen sometime this decade no matter what.

We're already duking it out economically, and China seems to be ramping up their military might in preps for the coming (ongoing) resource wars (crunch).

Until it becomes more strategically viable to duke it out physically, we'll keep seeing proxy wars and hearing layers of propaganda to keep our people chill for the time being.

As the time draws near, China and it's allies will be heavily demonized, and our economy will be so screwy that joining the military will seem like a great option to many young Americans.

Just another step in the depop of our species throughout the 21st century.

If the USA were going to invade then they would have done so a few years ago.

you can look at it another way. USA is slowly getting their feet into many of the surrounding countries..i.e iraq-afghanistan-turkey-Kuwait--- Know usa is looking at the big dog over there, Iran, surrounded and with israel fully loaded and willing to start a war. And a reason you ask? Israel can easily stage a false flag attack as it has done in the near and far past, ya know like america does to americans?? It is entirely possible.

I posted this in another thread, but it seems more appropriate here on second thought. Bloomberg is carrying a story reporting the IAEA is claiming the purpose of Iran's nuclear program is the creation of a weapon. Convenient timing, perhaps?

In my opinion, we are not going to war with Iran. If there were plans to go to war that are as old as some of you indicate, then it was awefully stupid to pull our troops out of Iraq, don't you think? Now, I would not be at all surprised to see something happen with Israel and Iran. I just don't see the US putting boots on the ground in Iran.

I looked up some information on military strength, Iran really surprised me! They are ranked #12 in the world! Of course, their stuff is Chinese and Russian, so it's is made with substandard materials and workmanship, but they sure do have a lot of it!

I agree. I've been hearing that same crap since the day i registered for this site. It's been "imminent" or "just around the corner" for last 6 yrs or so.

It won't happen. Alot of rhetoric and hot air from both sides, but that's about it.

OP has made me think. I'm not sure about the whole 28th of this month thing, but let's pretend you are right and action will be taken very soon.

What could justify an attack against Iran? Certainly public sentiment won't back it , even with this latest bogus charge of terrorist involvement. The public has it's mind focused on something totally different, the Occupy movement.

The Occupy movement is the perfect false flag target to justify an Iran attack. A few well placed car-bombs at an OWS rally in a major city would have a massive effect.The media will already be there en masse to pump the story and the horror and the level of disorganisation that already exists at these events presents a great opportunity to implement a false flag attack.

If OWS is attacked, you can bet your life it's an inside job.

That is if the land is even habitable after the fallout from all the bombs, we would have to be undergroud for years or in a safe zone which defiantly wouldnt be any city.

There have been countless conflicts and wars after the fall of Hitler.........and whilst some had major players and huge loss of life (eg Vietnam, Korea, Russian invasion of Afghanistan)........not one has come close to becoming a World War!

Which countries would plunge themselves into war on account of Iran being attacked?
Other Arab countries?........China? Russia?
Just like they did when the US/UK coalition invaded Iraq?

Don't get me wrong a strike on Iran either by Israel or the US would be a big deal ......but a spark to a third world war.........hardly!

As I read the many posts of thoughts I am lead to actually wonder a few things....

One is.....do you guys think that Nukes is the only weaponry that could be used to truly cause a major fall out?

I really don't think so.

What about manipulating weather and things of that nature that cannot be linked to a certain Country? It has been a goal of ours here in the US since I was a kid and even before was mentioned in speech's waaay before my time. I really think it is plausible .... Countries have more stuff than we can even imagine, I think.

I have heard here and there and every where that not only can we here in the US manipulate weather but we can manipulate the mind and climate. Hell, I have even heard we can cause an EQ to happen....

I just do not know anymore what this world is becoming but I can say even though I have no idea...what I do know is I don't like it..at all!

It's just not looking good....no matter where you turn your head and look. Its not pretty.

I think ATS should ban users whose predictions fail to come to fruition. Then we could have more intelligent and serious discussions.
