Look at the last decade.. That should tell you enough. And if it doesnt, well you missed the point anyway.. Point being you are not the 99%, the places you frequent are not the 99%..
edit on 8-10-2011 by ShogunAssassins because: (no reason given)

I dont know where you frequent, but in my daily life and my travels through the country I have seen lots of things over the years, and my many visits to different types of businesses, and my frequent conversations with business owners.

1. Manufacturing is moving overseas. This is due to so much regulation and taxation. Even manufacturers who have businesses here, who are fighting like hell to keep manufacturing here so their employees can have jobs, import a portion of their things from China just to keep their head above water.

2. A higher and higher percentage of Americans are getting dumber.

3. A higher and higher percentage of Americans are lazy.

4. A higher and higher percentage of Americans have a victim mentality.

5. More and more Americans are crappy parents.

6. The more money we throw at schools the worse results we get.

All of these problems can be traced back to the government, and more specifically, back to the failed policies of the left and left wing thinking, like dont tell anyone they failed, dont have kids compete, dont hold anyone accountable and lets give them excuses for their failures. When they do fail, lets pat their behinds, give them a massage, and give them free housing, food, cell phones, etc and help them to find someone, preferably an successful white male to blame it on.

Your back and allegiance is with the banks and TPTB. It is established that on this day you have formally threw your nation under the bus. Your true colours have now been shown, no backing out, no nothing. You are apart of the problem since you have yet to bring forth one solution. Everytime you attack me just proves my point.

Do not ever reply to me as you are a shill and this proves it.

If there is a NWO, then they wont take over the world because of bankers. They will take it over by making you so dependent on government that you will be so beaten down with liberal learned helplessness that you wont have the brains or the energy level to fight back.

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

In this book we are concerned with how to create mass organizations to seize power and give it to the people; to realize the democratic dream of equality, justice, peace.... "Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.' This means revolution." p.3 "Radicals must be resilient, adaptable to shifting political circumstances, and sensitive enough to the process of action and reaction to avoid being trapped by their own tactics and forced to travel a road not of their choosing."

"A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism." p.10

An organizer working in and for an open society is in an ideological dilemma to begin with, he does not have a fixed truth -- truth to him is relative and changing; everything to him is relative and changing.... To the extent that he is free from the shackles of dogma, he can respond to the realities of the widely different situations...." pp.10-11

"The end is what you want, the means is how you get it. Whenever we think about social change, the question of means and ends arises. The man of action views the issue of means and ends in pragmatic and strategic terms. He has no other problem; he thinks only of his actual resources and the possibilities of various choices of action. He asks of ends only whether they are achievable and worth the cost; of means, only whether they will work. ... The real arena is corrupt and bloody." p.24

The means-and-ends moralists, constantly obsessed with the ethics of the means used by the Have-Nots against the Haves, should search themselves as to their real political position. In fact, they are passive — but real — allies of the Haves…. The most unethical of all means is the non-use of any means... The standards of judgment must be rooted in the whys and wherefores of life as it is lived, the world as it is, not our wished-for fantasy of the world as it should be...." pp.25-26

"The third rule of ethics of means and ends is that in war the end justifies almost any means...." p.29

1)Those regulations you talk about the only thing that keep us safe from people who would abuse society for a buck.. Now who would do that? If you want to work for a slave labor wage, go to one of those nations we outsource to.

2) I might agree with you, just look at any tea party protest (Though they mostly older so maybe they where already dumb)

3) interesting fact, sounds like you got it right out of a plantation owners guide book.

4) Look at you're self. Playing the victim because of Mexico in this very thread. Though the people you accuse of playin the victim, i dont see them here.

5) It is not for me to judge others, even more so without seeing what goes on behind closed doors. Maybe you should do the same.

6) Seems we had broke schools before, care to go back to them?

You just gave me 6 conservative propaganda, talking points... It be nice if you used you're own brain a bit and not some right wing trash site.

A small percentage of regulations do keep us safe from real things. The vast majority of regulations are worthless and are used to keep small businesses down and give big businesses an advantage, they are crazy ass environmental regulations most of which are senseless, they give jobs to bearucrats that dont add a thing to the economy.

2) I might agree with you, just look at any tea party protest (Though they mostly older so maybe they where already dumb)

Glad we agree that Americans are getting dumber.

3) interesting fact, sounds like you got it right out of a plantation owners guide book.

Yeah I keep on under my pillow next to my sheet with the eye holes. If you knew the makeup of my family you would quickly realise that I am certainly not pro-slave ownership.

4) Look at you're self. Playing the victim because of Mexico in this very thread. Though the people you accuse of playin the victim, i dont see them here.

I dont think I have mentioned Mexico. I love Mexico. I love legal mexican immigrants. I just dont like illegal immigrants of any race. Mexicans dont seem to like illegal immigrants either, because the ones that cross their southern border are arrested or shot.

5) It is not for me to judge others, even more so without seeing what goes on behind closed doors. Maybe you should do the same.

More Liberal BS. If someone sucks, you are doing them a favor by telling them they suck and holding them to a higher standard. What do you think good coaches, and good leaders do?

6) Seems we had broke schools before, care to go back to them?

I agree they were always broken to a degree, but they are free so you get what you pay for. However, they have really went down hill the last 20 yrs. Look at the graduation rates. Look at how many kids graduate but are illiterate.

You just gave me 6 conservative propaganda, talking points... It be nice if you used you're own brain a bit and not some right wing trash site.

So shotgun assassin...

What is it that you think would fix the country? What is your plan to pay down the national debt? What is your plan to balance the national budget? What would you like us to do about illegal immigraton? What would you like us to do to improve education? What do you think we should do about global warming? What do you think we should do so that we can compete in the global marketplace? What should we do to improve the banking sector? What should we do to prove the investment sector? What changes should we make to Federal and State governments to make this a better nation?

Explain that to the people that can't get jobs because of one reason or another.

I'd be glad to! Excuses are like A**holes. Everybody has one and nobody wants to hear yours! There are plenty of jobs. They might not be the job of your dreams but they pay $$. If you can't make it in the most prosperous nation in the world then look inside yourself. It's not America. It's you!!

There are over 14 million unemployed. There are not over 14 million available paid positions. Therefore, there are not "plenty of jobs." Stop lying.

Around here, there are thousands of applicants per job opening. That proves that even the government statistic of 5 applicants per opening is a lie. When Meijer held open interviews back in spring 2010 for 222 positions, over ten thousand people showed up. That is a lot higher than five applicants per opening. And Meijer only paid a little over minimum wage, so the people quite obviously weren't being picky.

Uh...then move to where the jobs are! There is no lack of jobs in the conservative state of Texas where I live. How is protesting gonna help? How is getting mad at Wall Street going to create jobs?? How is locking up the bankers going to create jobs?

If there were no lack of jobs in Texas then there would not be any involuntary unemployed in Texas. If there was a job for everyone in Texas then there would not be an unemployment rate at all. And having millions of people moving all over the country because they heard a rumor that there was a job opening somewhere isn't the answer, either.

Not everyone has thousands of dollars laying around to move somewhere. Single mothers have to obtain court permission to move anyway, and how would that play out? 'Your honor, I read someone post on the internet that there was a job opening up in this other state hundreds of miles away so please let me uproot my children so I can go to where the job might be at?' Yeah, that will sure work.

Someone moving hundreds of miles away where he/she will be 1) homeless, 2) jobless, 3) have no social networking is sure to bring success...right... I know that it is near impossible to get a landlord to even rent to you if you don't already have a job. What employer is going to hire someone without an address? What employer is going to hire anyone who has no social connections to check references (especially since there are thousands of other local candidates for the same job)?

I already fell for the 'move to where the jobs are' long time ago. I was told how many jobs were in this area. I moved here thinking I'd finally land a job. Well, the only jobs around here required you to work nights and weekends. Child care facilities were open M-F 6:30am to 6pm. Unless you had open availability, you weren't going to get a job. Then, my dad, who got me to move out here, kept after me to give my child away. He constantly demanded to know when I was going to get rid of her. Easy for him to say. He got rid of me when I was 12 so that he could get on with his life.

I was forced into college because I couldn't get a job that fit around the day care schedule and I refused to get rid of my daughter. Taxpayers paid for the child care so that I could continue to go to college and take out loans to diaper and clothe my daughter, since no employer would grace me with employment opportunity that fit around the schedule of the day care centers. Society is rigged so that single mothers with no social support end up losing their children unless they go on welfare. The only single parents I've ever known to survive have family or friends who help them out. My family never wanted my daughter in the family to begin with, except for my mother who was never in a position to help me herself.

When I first fled my marriage, I found a job within a few days, but the courts ordered me back to Virginia, thus forcing me to lose the job soon after I got it. I had a choice of giving up my daughter to my abusive husband/rapist & being able to go back to my job or keeping my daughter & being forced via court order to live near my abuser. No one would give me a job around there because my husband would show up harassing me and they didn't want that at their place of business. He showed up at every job I had early on and got me fired. Word got around and then no one would touch me. Not my fault. I did all I legally could to make him leave me alone. It took years to get out of that state legally, and by then the person who was going to help me previously was no longer around & I had no recent work history. That was the government's fault, not mine. I was a good mother. I kept my baby.

Well. let's see. The top 400 wealthiest americans make mor than the bottom 150 million americans. Let's do the math. 150,000,000 into 400 = 2.6% Ergo, 2.6% make more than 50% of the poorest of the total population of america, roughly. This is wonderful capitalism at it's best. You support that? You're a spiritual cretin.

You don't start out at the dream job. You need a little luck and a lot of hard work to get that.

By the way, the military is always hiring!! Oh wait, that doesn't fit your lifestyle!

I'm doing fine, I'm asking you if you are willing to say that face to face to someone who can't find a function in society. Good luck with that.

Unless your physically or mentally handicapped then NO ONE should give you endless handouts. I can't believe your serious here...

Can't find a function in society? What does that even mean? Some body who's social angst and hatred towards people with more money than them is no reason for me to pay to support them. Or the ones who are just plain lazy... You want a collective join a commune.

I understand there are a lot of unemployed people who were formerly gainfully employed, but there is also becoming more and more (especially young) people who think society owes them a good life. It's this movement towards the trophy society that is fostering the growth in numbers of people who want government help and control in every part of their lives.

The biggest problem is a lot of them want the help but not to be controlled... I'm sorry but if you don't understand that accepting more handouts increases the governments control over you you are beyond help. Capitalism and not predatory capitalism or corporatism or socialism CREATES FREEDOM AND OPPORTUNITY...

The reform we need is a return of leverage to the small business and away from unions and giant cooperations.

The Wealth Distribution
In the United States, wealth is highly concentrated in a relatively few hands. As of 2007, the top 1% of households (the upper class) owned 34.6% of all privately held wealth, and the next 19% (the managerial, professional, and small business stratum) had 50.5%, which means that just 20% of the people owned a remarkable 85%, leaving only 15% of the wealth for the bottom 80% (wage and salary workers). In terms of financial wealth (total net worth minus the value of one's home), the top 1% of households had an even greater share: 42.7%. Table 1 and Figure 1 present further details drawn from the careful work of economist Edward N. Wolff at New York University (2010).

What you are missing here is that the 50.5 percent in small business is the REAL PROBLEM. Over regulation and government impending tax increases and socialized medicine is keeping small business down. Even you Berkeley and so cal and other liberally educated people must understand (think back to your basic economic courses) that small business drives economic growth.

Taxing the hell out of these people forcing them to meet hiring requirements (by race, gender, and age quotas) instead of hired by merit coupled with impending forced healthcare and another four years of poor economic policies is killing small business.

You all want to end these people tax them to death destroy more companies that work to build American success and real freedom and a lifestyle that is the envy of the world.... And for what? A chance to suckle at the tit of the biggest cooperation in the world, the US government!!!

Sorry but I'll pass.

They aren't saying that 99 percent are on board. They are saying the REPRESENT the 99% of people that are supporting this government while the 1% that own 40% of the wealth are running this country into the ground.

They are out there for you whether you know it or not. There are people standing outside for you whether you think they are ignorant or whatever.. almost jesus like wouldn't you think?
