I'm bumping this because it has not been solved. It's in the source code for the 24/7 pop-up player on ATS Live, at the bottom.

for those of you who haven't checked, there is a number, written in the same style and format as the previous source code clue.

< !--- 436720 --->

which could indicate a forum post.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

edit on 22-9-2011 by Sequitur because: accidently hid the number

so now we have "G.G.F conspiracy", and "last.before" correct.
dont wanna load up my pack and head in the wrong direction.
the fact that g.g.f. conspiracy is replaced by last.before doesnt mean it is no longer a relevant clue does it

I have previously solved the GFF clue. GFF is no longer relevant. The most current clue is Last.Before. We are also trying to find the UNredacted page. Mant of us are stuck on last.before clue... dont even know where to begin. We are also missing a clue on the redacted page, and we are trying to decide where to start on that clue as well.

SkepticOverlord stopped into chat tonight after posting many new pages in the Games forums. He has made it blatantly clear by now that the most important next step is to find the redacted page, the version that didnt get intercepted by UTS.

If you will recall, the redacted page was found in the Robbie Williams thread, found here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

I would like to draw everyones attention to the following pages compiled by kai22:
Bottom moved: 8 18 22 23 29 32 34 36 40 41 42 43
Half of page moved: 15 31 39
Page 15 is also messed up in general

Page 15 has the WORST formatting so I will link it here. To access the other messed up pages just change the page number at the end of the URL.

There are many anomolies within this thread still, I believe that the unredacted page is to be found within the thread somewhere. I, and a few others, have looked but found nothing so far. I hope I can encourage a few new eyes to have a look. It is definately strange to say the least.

SO stopped into chat around 4am EST. He told me personally that none of the page errors I mentioned were intentional. I am keeping the information available, even though SO personally told me it was the wrong path. It is probably best that people forget this information unless they need a break.

It is clear to me that we have missed something somewhere. I am personally at a complete loss at this point. Please keep this post on the back burner for future reference, but dont bother spending time and energy following up for current clues. SO told me that I was on the wrong path.

SkepticOverlord joined the room.
SkepticOverlord: -sigh-

Cyberboiraves: removed it..that was kinda dum..but its gone
InTheFlesh1980: I dug around in that Obama Stimulus package thread 3 or 4 days ago when the original discovery was made... couldn't find a thing in the source or elsewhere
IntegratedInstigator: uh oh, SO is disappointed
bubbles22: are u depressed too skeptic?
Sage2000: yeah me too

SkepticOverlord: accidentally released text of a page you didn't yet find. But you still need to find it as the actual page contains the clue to the next page
coldfiremx: LOL
Sage2000: yeah we know....
coldfiremx: I did it again

IntegratedInstigator: SO: we are still behind on another clue, no?
SkepticOverlord: I thought you had reached point "X" based on what I was reading, but I was wrong
IntegratedInstigator: I mean finding the unredacted page?
SkepticOverlord: IntegratedInstigator: yes
coldfiremx: robbie williams
Sage2000: I mean with all the confusion it seems the best thing to do is just go ahead and give that page out...wouldnt you think SO?
SkepticOverlord: Sage2000: no, since the current clue is still important
IntegratedInstigator: its ok SO... we are still completely lost. all is not lost on ATS game haha
SkepticOverlord: Kent made me do it, he sent a TPE adjustment that made me make the mistake
Cyberboiraves: lol

InTheFlesh1980: SO: Was the OBL thread and resulting page supposed to be found from the "death delayed" clue or the typo "anigma". I just realized I sound crazy
SkepticOverlord: InTheFlesh1980: won't provide help on clues
coldfiremx: There goes ITF and his suspicious comments
SkepticOverlord: InTheFlesh1980: no

myster0: oh, while you're here SO; is the ATS live source a clue?

coldfiremx: last.before telling us to go back for clues in older entries?

IntegratedInstigator: SO: have we missed a clue in the Robbie Williams thread?
IntegratedInstigator: or is the unredacted page from a new clue?
SkepticOverlord: IntegratedInstigator: no

myster0: are you fibbing, SO?
SkepticOverlord: myster0: never

myster0: i have read that entire thing like 5 times now

Sage2000: SO: So right now besides any tweets we may have not followed is last.before the only clue we should have???
SkepticOverlord: Captain Kirk: "Harry Mudd always lies. Everything he says is a lie." Harry Mudd to computer: "Listen to me carefully, I'm lying." Computer: meltdown
SkepticOverlord: Sage2000: seems that way

IntegratedInstigator: SO: what about page 15 (among the other paged in the robbie williams thread)... why is all the formatting messed up???
SkepticOverlord: IntegratedInstigator: dunno
SkepticOverlord: IntegratedInstigator: haven't looked at page 15 of the Robbie thread

Sage2000: SO: so the fact that the robbie williams thread is all formatted bad that has nothing to do with the game?
SkepticOverlord: Sage2000: correct
IntegratedInstigator: SO: its not just page 15, its pg 8, 15, 18, 20, 22, etc
Sage2000: thx for that about 7hrs too late
IntegratedInstigator: all the pages are in my siggy now
myster0: let's move past robbie shall we?
SkepticOverlord: not seeing any issues with those pages on my end... what do you see?
SkepticOverlord: looks fine to me
myster0: you might need to scroll to the bottom
IntegratedInstigator: many things are wrong... and other ATS users agree, its not just my computer
the BG is off... the alignment is off... the formatting is off....
SkepticOverlord: I think I see the cause -- that's back from when we allowed anonymous posts, and the first one on that page is an anonymous reply that wasn't approved to be shown, something funky in the
code, need to look at it tomorrow
IntegratedInstigator: SO: its not just page 15 though
SkepticOverlord: moderators can see anonymous posts that aren't approved -- so that's why it looked okay under my account
IntegratedInstigator: page 8, the very bottom is out of alignment as well

myster0: SO: should we have been able to find the UNredacted page before this newest (last.before) clue?
SkepticOverlord: myster0: yes

myster0: from the "A star story" clue?
SkepticOverlord: myster0: the means to find the page was always available
myster0: ....inigmatic
coldfiremx: since the first journal entry?
SkepticOverlord: coldfiremx: everything was available since then

SkepticOverlord: some clues were timed, however

coldfiremx: well thats like saying finding the first clue to the game solves the whole game.
SkepticOverlord: okay, calling it a night
SkepticOverlord: g'night all
SkepticOverlord left the room. (Logged out)

I can't help but think that last before may relate to Bush in that he was the last before the new president.

Just another thought.

When I click on the main image on the home page of that site it links me straight back to this thread..

How annoying.

I agree, I proposed that about 10 pages back,
Boy, you go to bed to sleep and look how much you miss coming back in. So we are solving last.before?

Yeh we're trying to solve that clue, but like the one before it, it's so vague.

So far I've searched for:
Last before
Last period before
Last stop before

Nothing yet though... Damned frustrating lol.

I wonder if the black strip at the top of the one page is a reference to this

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Black strips indicate lack of data or beacons for aliens. I am reading this on my Firefox and can't see the source code. I will have to log out, go to IE, log back in and find the thread again...

Anyway, I noticed the first post in that thread did not have a star for voting, instead it has ~

Is that unusual?

I've never seen that before... Will have to ask SO in the next Q&A session.

I've been wondering why the black bar is the shape that it is, when normally (as far as I know) a basic rectangle is used to block out secret info

I was wondering about this...people keep posting UNredacted, could that mean UN as in United Nations, as though the UN redacted something?

And last.before also could refer to a wireless cable message, almost like in... something last full stop before something.... As though the last is the end of a sentence and before is the beginning of the next sentence.

So maybe Wikileaks?

Possibly, though I doubt the UN had anything to do with redacting the page itself as it doesn't exist in the "future"

Always worth a look I guess

BTW, what happened with the "moderate brings fraud story" clue? It doesn't appear in Lynn's post regarding pages/threads etc

Since this is merely a game of made-up characters with an ongoing narrative, the UN may have in the past redacted information before Kent Allison found it. The UN is no longer around in his day so we have to find what is the comparable agency in his day.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This is the UN redacting things and about wikileaks.

That would be the UTA (United Territories Administration) and we already know that it was the UTA that redacted the page.

By looking into it, I meant that there may be a thread about something that had been redacted by the UN or some part of the UN, which could then be where a journal entry is hidden.

Then again, I could be waaaayyy off base
haha

Kent Allison is sort of like a Wikileaker to us. And everyone was asking the reference for HCRG and did not know what it means. The UNHCR is the United Nations Commission on Refugees, so drop the UN and add a G for General or Government, since the creators of this narrative are changing a lot of things we are familiar with to make a new story, this could be somethin.

And I could be way off base too. But it is fun being off base.

Okay, I've been out for a while. The last clue we have to solve is "last.before" correct? Is there a reason why page #2 is posted twice on the enigma-amgine page?

I'm afraid you are off base with the HCRG thing, it stands for Historical Compliance and Records Group

I was gonna ask why you aren't in the enigma chatroom, but it's all very quiet in there at the moment so you aren't missing too much
lol
