Maybe they need to start protesting in front of all the media outlets and demand they stop doing the governments bidding. The only way they're forced to cover something news worthy is when it's in their face.

Our media is bought and paid for by the corporate and government elite. This country wouldn't be involved in all these wars if our media did their job and reported the truth.

So if an event happens. Media is covering it as proven already. People do not know about it. Then whose fault is it? I'd say it's the people.

Are you actually claiming that if something important happens the media will shut up? We will hear it because we have the interwebs. Half of the bunch will probably document events there. So media will just stand on their asses and lets citizen media scoop them? Don't think so.

My following statement is not to debate right from wrong but show necessity. People in the U.S. have it good. VERY good...and although we are in an economic crisis....we are not paying $10 a gallon for gas like some in Europe.

Part of the reason for the wars was to control oil. Thats it. It is that simple. Reguardless how a person moraly feels about this....long term....most likely a good strategy. AND THAT IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT...STRATAGY.

If we ever have gas lines like we had in the early 70's....lets see how people would act. Split Infinity

How can US folk go and vote in an election whereby the media has ignored a truth speaking candidate and deliberately snubbed him (RP). There's no democracy where there's no equal opportunity to debate and present your views to the masses! And even less when TPTB controlled media are aiding such a travesty!!

Wake up USA!!! Or just carry on voting for the candidates chosen for you and presented to you by the media. SQ reigns because the US folk are blind in eye and mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well actually theere was no coverage the day it was actually happening it was not until lots of people demanded they cover it that they actually did.. Plus there are many people commenting on the video saying that they hadnt heard anything on the TV at all about it so... Don't so negative

Apparently 4 people have just been arrested for no apparent reason. At least that's what they are saying in the livestream.

The reason there is no media coverage is simple.
There is no real tag line for this protest. Nothing for the media to put legs on.

Protesting Wall Street... for what? What is the cohesive and symbolic message that gives the protest a unifying theme?

We all know people are losing money in the market.. We also know that the elite have the power to manipulate it because they have the money and power to do so. This will never change.

The market is volatile . so.... get out of the market if you cannot stand the heat, that being the only way to truly
protest it.

There IS media coverage, I heard all about the protest and watched some footage last night on my local News

This is America people. It's not Libya. Greece, Etc.Etc. There want be sweeping change in our Government. There want be any change what so ever. We were given the right to dismantle our form of Government and form a new one if need be. One of the reasons we have the right to bear arms. Who's gonna do it ?

A few protester's. No. Some one from our military rise up and lead the way? No. Some one from the private sector garner a set and take on the establishment? No. Why because, this is America and TPTB want let that be seen around the world. After a few days, maybe even shorter period. The Agent Provacateur's will be out in force and the party will be over.

It's sad that is what will happen, but happen it will. Our second amendment rights, is about all we have left. It's time it was used for it's intended purpose. Revolution.

hey everyone thanks for showing your support i was at the demonstrations yesterday and the day before and i plan on returning today after work. i slept on liberty square as we occupied it and i dont know if this has been discussed yet but there is a live feed at www.livestream.com/globalrevolution dont let the media black you guys out tell your friends. we've had roseanne bar come and show her support lupe fiasco donated a generator 50 tents (though they are illegal to erect lol) and a mic/amp. people around the world have been calling the local pizza shop having pizza delivered for us and i ask that you guys too keep calling in and getting food delivered whether it be pizza (plz order vegan choices too) or fresh direct or whatever. I admire every ones efforts to highlight things of this nature but media want air it because they don't wont to spread the movement. People with such concerns that this protest and many more highlight are very few. Compared to the masses who just carry on with consumerisms and care more about getting the new world of Warcraft expansion or the Gucci handbag this consumerism life effects all class from rich to poor from nerd, jock,beauty queen,all forms of stereo typical life it is the best way to make people mindless of what is happening around them. throw in a bit of media censorship control and you have the best bunch of mindless zombies you could ask for. We are never going to archive nothing through protest due to the majority don't care unless it effects there gaming or Gucci products.Its easy to say we should burn the government's that be. But we would not get anywhere because we are such few.
