There are currently about ~200 stories linked to this topic on Google News. That is like one news story for about every 10 people that showed up. That's called getting a lot more coverage than it deserved.

Although to be fair, most of the stories are about how it was a total dud instead of a big scary protest like was promised, so they mostly aren't overselling it (like your thread title and premise does). This 'day of rage' turned out more like a street festival with not much to recommend it for entertainment value so even the hipsters of New York decided to pass on it.

A couple of thousand people showing up to a protest in NYC is like the equivalent of a dozen people in a normal sized town. That many people gather around in NYC all the time. Actually...a dozen people in a normal sized town is probably a much bigger deal(to the people of that area).

Many, much larger protests have actually been ignored by the media over the years.

The fact that there is no media coverage means that this is a legit, peaceful protest against TPTB.

Unlike the staged Tea Party "protests" that get national news coverage because the people financing them want the party's SOCIOPATHIC ignorance to be heard.

Until the Tea Party begins to scream loudly about getting corporate money out of Washington, they are a farce and I cannot take anyone who claims to be a member of that sham party seriously.

People can protest best when they feel oppressed, so they pretend "media blackout" where there is none and give it no rest.

Kudos to Russia Today for covering this.

I thought that I'd take a look at 3 sites for an honest assessment....CNN, MSNBC, CNBC.....vs what we are being told by COINTELPRO here.

It appears as if 2/3rds of the above listed sites DID NOT report on this Wall St. Protest and only 1/3rd, CNN Money actually did.

How many links will it take to show you that there is no media blackout of this non evebnt. If thousands have showed up, they are cloaked liked many of the UFO"s and Motherships floating around the Earth. Links below to show there is no media black out !

As for thoushands try hundreds....at least use sensationalism for a cause that matters not a bunch of hippie misfits who are protesting on a day that walll street is closed.

In order for their to be a live shot there has to be something to show....I watched as l;ive shot on CNN earlier of this un event and there was nothing but people sitting in lawn chairs. Are they suppose to show them all day to sastify you?

Media Blackout is so over played, every time i see that on here I know it is bs, i find many media sources on the so called media blackout. In fact i have even seen this one on CNN. They may be down playing the story, even saying that the protesters do not know what they want and that it is different for each protester. I do not know how much of that is true, but what i do know that when you put Media Blackout it loses creditably and some of us mighty seekers will just shrug it off.

On another note, i would like to know the number of protester. CNN said it was less then 20,000, i heard from other sources that it was 50,000. Anyone know what the real number is?

The MSM is covering this story. There are links to dozens of articles from every MSM source you could want. This video was even aired last night on CNN: News Room

So how can you continue to say there is a media blackout? This thing is in newspapers, live TV, hundreds of web articles, what more do you want? It's not going to be on TV 24/7, but it's obviously not a media blackout and declaring it as such just completely false and counter-productive.

If this is what you think a media blackout looks like, it's no wonder you all think Ron Paul is also on a 'media blackout'.

Seriously guys, the protest is being covered by pretty much every mainstream source out there. I know it can be fun to make a conspiracy out of everything, but sometimes there just isn't one.

The MSM should do a cover story on how pathetic this supposed protest really is, name all the Soros foundations behind its inception just to show that communism doesn't go over well in the US.

Who are these losers who can camp out for a week or a month, do they have someone cashing their welfare checks for them while they are doing this? Are they professionally paid protesters? These are the important questions americans want to know.

They are all stupid for not wearing sunglasses at least. That's all I have to say about it. If you want to protest in this high tech world, do it without giving your biometrics away. Sunglasses, hoods or distorting clothing and peace.

Why do you think the "Anarchists" that always crash the party are wearing those clothes? Because they want to get ahead of the curve and ban that type of clothing because it's harder to identify you.

free energy is all around us, we just dont know how to use it yet
but there are plenty of other ways..if someone with a bit of money could develop a cheap wholesale solar panel for sale or something like that..
