What's got me pondering is why the birds are singing at night?
You can hear a neighbor (or someone) using a circular saw in the background, so maybe they were caged birds, but they didn't sound that far away if he was outside...

You know, its allways lights in the sky. Unfocused, to far away, etc, etc, Why is it never their "on the ground" you know "parked" get out walk around, stretch their legs ( if they have them). Seems to me it would be a waste to traverse the cosmos just to do a "flyover"

That would be the like going to the movie's, driving by the theatre and then telling folks you've seen the movie. I would say over the next few months expext to see quite alot of "things falling from the sky" Let me pose a simple question. How does any of us on ATS know that there's people onboard the space station as we read & write this? We don't. It too will fall, they have allready laid the story out. Russia said it may evac their people out of they can't fix their rocket problem. Smoke screen story if I ever heard one.

It looks like a helicopter to me with it's search light on - at least it does at the beginning. After that, zooming in on the light will give that effect.

No theres no way. A ghetto bird has the search light moving around, normally they don't shine on one spot as they move and from the intensity of the light it looks as though the light never moved so I believe that is reason to believe that the light was not from a ghetto bird.

So we have a video by someone who routinely posts UFO and alien videos, and a completely unsubstantiated report of a roped off area where a meteor "landed." And you define this as proof that this wasn't a meteor?


From the vivid description by the airline pilot. it sounded -exactly- like a meteor. It had the color and characteristics of a meteor. Of course some nutcases are going to come out with hoaxes and ridiculous explanations.

If you want to believe a youtube video supposedly TAKEN by someone who routinely posts about UFOs and aliens, by all means, do so. While I do believe in UFOs, I choose to remain skeptical about such source material. If such a video was taken by say, someone who had a solid posting history with youtube, and none of them had anything to do with the paranormal, UFOs, etc.. I'd at least give it a bit more credit. As it stands, using such "evidence" as proof as something amazing happening is rather lame.

I'm in south PA and I hear birds singing at night here all the time.
I've been out as late as 1:00 AM and heard them.
Heard them when I lived in NC too.

The evidence we have so far on this being a meteor:

1. Eyewitness accounts that sound a lot like a meteor.

2. An unsubstantiated claim that police roped off an alleged crash site and wouldn't let people in.

doesnt this side by side comparison video give credit to the OP's video? If theres another video from another angle that pretty much shows the same thing, then it has to be legit right?

I highly discredit this video due to the person talking on this video "Dang i'm getting it" Really!??! come on this is a hoax.

Yes, I couldn't find anything else about this claim. It originally made its appearance in the abcnews article by a Geraldo H. (if I remember correctly), and I haven't seen any other similar claims.

Well -- sure it's a legitimate video.
However, it seems to be a legitimate video of a space shuttle launch.

Um.. what? Are you aware the the video on the right is the space shuttle taking off? There is only one space shuttle, and it doesn't take off in California... The OP's video is a hoax. Someone uploaded a video of the Space Shuttle taking off at night and claimed it was a UFO.

Come to think about it dish network sat 129 was having problems that night. Don't know if it's related programming was back on the next day.

It sounds just like that lady in the faked Jerusalem UFO video. People with sound engineering skills will know.

JFRISSINA is showing a video which they claim is the 9/14/11 mystery object (UFO). But in reality, it is a distant video of NASA’s space shuttle launching at night.

Do you debunkers with degrees mean to tell us that THIS is a meteor? Why can't the 'officials' figure it out then? Are we going to let this just fade away into oblivion and resurrect it in a few weeks with a sudden explanation ...like 'space junk'?
