There is a very important difference you are overlooking between the two cases. We understand how the digestive processes work. We understand the mechanism through which the chili is broken down into excessive methane and other gases. We can therefore confirm that the pattern is significant. There is no mechanism that can explain why the alignment of an insignificant celestial object can affect the tectonic plates. Since earthquakes happen all the time, whether there is an "alignment" or not, it is much more likely that it is all just coincidence.

I'm not an Elenin supporter of doom or anything but at the same time, where is the logic with this post?

Firstly, there is no alignment clearly and that earthquake isn't what I would call a significant quake.

So I really don't see how this has any legitimate connection to Elenin and it's alleged cause of quakes.

The other thing to note is that if it is causing increased changes in the convection flow of the Mantle leading to increases in more significant Quakes around the time of alignments due to a magnified EMF influencing the motion of the Earth's inner/outer core... There should be an increase in the frequency of these quake events as it approaches it's next alignment..

So far things seem pretty quiet if you ask me. I'd be very surprised if we start to see a major increase as September approaches the 27th.. and to be honest I really hope we don't as I have some stuff on order that I really want to get to use and it'd suck if I don't get to cause these alleged "wacko's" putting 2 and 2 together in creative ways turned out to be right.

Well.. until the next odd quake happens I'll leave this one in the capable hands of the debunking crew...keep my dream alive please ...

If Elenin is causing it, it can only get more active as it gets closer to earth. Something is causing the flare up in quakes. And they are likely to get worse and more frequent daily.

I can assure you that my passing of wind occurs far more often than earthquakes, yet the consumption of chilli still seems to increase the frequency. I hate this, as I really enjoy my chilli.

You can bet your money on the government(s) having an earthquake device. They have the technology. I'm sure there's a way to detect a real quake from a induced quake. I'm not saying this quake was induced. I'm saying they can do it, have done it, and will do it again. Just look at what Nicholas Tesla was doing. what could we do now? Have you ever heard of the mining equipment used to break up mountains? come on don't be so quick to dismiss. do some homework. This could very well have been induced by fracking.

by the time elenin gets here there could be a plot by the elite to wipe out life as we know it!

And why pick on Comet Elenein anyway? Not as though it's the only comet in the inner solar system at the moment! Isn't there a law against this sort of discrimination?

I think it may have more to do with Earth-Sun-Venus, with Mercury not too far from the action.

I'm glad this thread came out first. I can imagine the floods of threads about comet elenin that would come out right after the quake.

Has NASA got satellites that searches EQs on other planets? If so, are the EQs on Mars (for example) triggered by the comet by looking at the "alignments"?

I don’t know much about other planets but they do have plates right? Even though some haven’t got a molten iron core, or am I talking sh*t?
