A set of coordinates that lead to nowhere.

If otoh someone has stepped over the line, they have just exposed themselves for what they really are: a bunch of bigots that perceive themselves so enlightened as to justify dictating their limits of what people may think. Talk of being limited...

I am quite certain I know who that data came from, and it probably came from hackers with BAD intentions.

Let this subject lie. We can bash Open all we want, but trying to expose s/he is not an answer. It is wrong and inhumane.

Do you seriously THINK (keep in mind they're hackers) that the missing piece to their object is a link to a Google Map?

And what if I said I knew everyone's location on this thread? Would you want me to post it? How would it make you feel? Is it respectful to post such information whether it is true or not?

How do you think "Open" feels? How would you feel?

Edit~Whether or not those coordinates lead anywhere, I know who did it. They are hackers with bad intentions. As I said, I am not "Open" but those sort of people are not to be trusted and are flat out evil. They have very bad intentions beyond simply outing open.

No, the missing pieces are not in a Google link. That does not mean it is justifiable to post that info.

Do not think for a second that this information was not found shortly after this thread was started. If you doubt that, go back and read Druid's last two posts.

If we found it way back then, why should it not be found by others now? Remember this...the Oc282011 website has not always been so well cloaked. Public information is just that...public.

If it helps, I did email open earlier today to ask if (s)he was posting on the Record part of the site.

They said that they don't post anywhere other than on the oct282011.com domain (this therefore includes the Record part of the site).

Fact remains, we don't really know who øpen is. Which makes the coordinates pretty useless too, even if...

It's on the same server. Whatever Open or anyone says, unless Open is particularly stupid, (s)he knows what is on his/her server. No?

I'm not stupid. My particular requests were a follow-up to the question whether the open record had been compromised or not. But the end result is the same. The absence of feedback only leaves one option open: We do not know.

khnumkhufu - I didn't hack the password protected post on the record - it really isn't difficult in any way to work out the password...

SW - yes, I 'get it' but as open hadn't previously posted on there, somone else could have registered with that name - hence I asked them for clarification. The record site (and the wiki) was set up with open's permission (obviously, it's their server/web space) but someone else was doing admin duties previously.
