When people start thinking the Prez has anything whatsoever with running this country, we're in trouble. He's just a figurehead with no powers...just like our old high school class president or student body presidents. No power whatsoever. None.

I'm going to make you a bit sicker because the guy who is skating on this deal is George W Bush who took all the decisons that created the mess Mr Obama is dealing with now. So NO it is not Mr Obama's fault; IT IS Mr Bush's fault and Mr Obama is doing yeoman work (sacrificing his agenda & presidency) to clean up the debris from Bush's 8 year frat party where spending went through the roof and Dick Cheney told us deficits didn't matter. Accepting the truth will help you to feel better. So get on it!!

That Darn George Bush!
Obama is victim of Bush's failed promises!

Barack Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his
first term in office:
Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken
promises ever.

Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting
failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever!

Wow! Talk about change.

Just one year ago, fresh from his inauguration celebrations, President
Obama was flying high. After one of the nation's most inspiring political
campaigns, the election of America’s first black president had captured the
hopes and dreams of millions.

To his devout followers, it was inconceivable that a year later his
administration would be gripped in self-imposed crisis.

Of course, they don't see it as self-imposed. It's all George Bush's
fault!

George Bush, who doesn’t have a vote in congress and who no longer
occupies The White House, is to blame for it all.

He broke Obama's promise, to put all bills on the White House web site
for five days before signing them.

He broke Obama's promise, to have the congressional health care
negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.

He broke Obama's promise, to end earmarks.

He broke Obama's promise, to keep unemployment from rising above 8
percent.

He broke Obama's promise, to close the detention center at Guantanamo
in the first year.

He broke Obama's promise, to make peace with direct; no precondition
talks with America's most hate-filled enemies during his first year in
office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

He broke Obama's promise, to end the hiring of former lobbyists into
high White House jobs.

He broke Obama's promise, to end no-compete contracts with the
government.

He broke Obama's promise, to disclose the names of all attendees at
closed White House meetings.

He broke Obama's promise, for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in
all matters.

He broke Obama’s promise, to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday
services with his family by Easter of last year.

Yes, it's all George Bush's fault! President Obama is nothing more
than a puppet in the never-ending failed Bush administration.

If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, all of President Obama’s
problems would be solved.

His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track,
Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would
be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel.

North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity
would have been restored to the federal government.

Oh, and did I mention what it would be like, if the Democrats, under
the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, didn't have the heavy yoke
of George Bush around their necks?

There would be no ear marks, no closed-door drafting of bills, no
increase in deficit spending, no special-interest influence (unions),
no vote buying ( Nebraska , Louisiana ).

If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, we'd have real change by
now.

All the broken promises, all the failed legislation and delay (health
care reform, immigration reform) are not President Obama's fault or the fault
of the Democrat-controlled Congress. It's all George Bush's fault!

Take for example the decision of Eric Holder, the president’s attorney
general, to hold terrorists' trials in New York City. Or his decision
to try the Christmas Day underpants bomber as a civilian.

Two disastrous decisions.
Certainly those were bad judgments based on poor advice from George
Bush!

Need more proof?

You might recall that when Scott Brown won the election to the U.S.
Senate from Massachusetts, capturing "The Ted Kennedy Seat", President Obama
said, Brown's victory was the result of the same voter anger that
propelled Obama into office in 2008.

People were still angry about George Bush and the policies of the past
10 years. And they wanted change.

Yes, according to the president, the voter rebellion in Massachusetts
was George Bush’s fault.

Therefore, in retaliation, they elected a Republican to the Ted Kennedy
seat, ending a half-century of domination by Democrats. It is all George
Bush's fault!

Will the failed administration of George Bush ever end, and the time
for hope and change ever arrive???

Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something /
anything?

If you don't like the Obama bashing here, why don't you try a different site. Like maybe Huffington Post. There you'll get the coddling Obama opinions that align more closely with your own. Good luck!

But I can blame him for everything under the US flag.
He's a terrible president and he has sold us all out.

I almost want Ron Paul elected.

Just to prove the president does not have the power to do what he wants.

he would be comander in chief, if he can't stop these useless wars, it would make quite a statement.

Lol, really? If we don't make up lies, rumors, or scandals about the President, WE should find another site?

Glad to know the haters want us silenced.

Say you're the CEO of KFC.

so, let me get this straight.
you say: you can't blame Obama because the "president is a puppet...really has no powers, etc etc" AND THEN in the same breath you say "blame his predecessor (George Bush)".
ummm....huh?
This is just history repeating itself.
"George Bush is the reason I ran out of toilet paper in the summer of '02!"
"Obama is the reason I forgot to pick up milk at the store last week!"
and if Ron Paul ever gets elected....well can't wait to see what we "blame" him for...

I don't think we have any real clue what is going on. I don't think we have any real clue what is being fought and fought for or fought against.

If Ron Paul was elected - - - I don't things would change at all. I think its delusional to believe they would.

He would be "owned" just like every other president. IMO

Once he stops shifting blame, then I am sure other people will stop blaming him. He needs to own up to it as he is the President and in charge.

I don't know about anyone else, but if RP is elected, then I fully expect him to accept full responsibility for everything he has inherited from previous administrations and then turn this country around within 15-minutes of taking his oath; otherwise, I will be fully prepared to call him a liar, a bum, a puppet, etc...

That is how the game is played, no?

Yeah, I am going to have to go with a big fat NO on this one.

Let's say that you are a manager at KFC. Let's say that many of your employees are under-trained and they screw up orders, fail heath inspections, misplace money and so on and so on......all of this comes together and results in one horrible place to eat. The franchise owners take notice, and do you know who they go to? They go to the manager, the person they trusted enough to hire to take care of their business.

The business relationship between the franchise owners and the managers is quite similar to the relationship between the citizens and the president. The president works for US, NOT the other way around. When things go wrong, we look at him. He took on the job as a LEADER, the person who is solely responsible for the continuation and progression of domestic policies that are designed to make the people happy. That is his job.

So when these things do not get done, we want ONE person to turn to, not a whole mess of agencies, departments, special interest groups, etc.

Yeah, I pretty much ran out of gas there. I hope you got my point.

ha! incorrect. Big red x for you, lol. The government is actually not like a Business. Business is more like a dictatorship, what I say goes. Did you forget your old history and civics classes? There are the 3 branches of government with no one superior branch than the others. If we had a KING, Obama the KING, then you can complain about why everything is a mess. Because he would be the one making all of the decisions. Fortunately in this country, we have "checks and balances". Obama can suggest all he wants, but it's up to congress to write and pass the laws. So you may want to blaim congress for the mess that we are in, rather than the President. He is responsible for a lot of things, as he has the final say on what passes, but does not have the power to write the law how he wants it.

Also, so if you took a crap in the woods, Obama would be responsible for that? Or say if you quit your job, just to make the unenployment higher because you dislike the leader, Obama is responsible for that? Stop making Obama, the sheeple scapegoat. Ask not what the country can do for you, but what YOU can do for the country!!!

We just need more brainless 1 liner slogans...

YES WE CAN!!! (bailout the banks... )
YES WE CAN!!! (bailout General Motors... in which the CEO gets a 9M pay package)
YES WE CAN!!! (rushed a trillion dollar stimulus bill through)
YES WE CAN!!! (send 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan...)
YES WE CAN!!! (Increase the debt ceiling...)

Finally a word of thanks to all the cooperation that supported Obama
Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Exxon Mobil, General Electric, Google, Lehman Brothers

P.S: If Ron Paul ever does get elected, I can almost picture a JFK scenario to some degree being discussed in a dimly lit room filled with cigarette smoke...
